Toman's Black Cat

Izana's POV

This is an important night. I will beat Toman and Mikey will be under my control.

A recent memory of Y/n crying over Emma sparked in his mind unannounced and woefully uninvited. He clenched his fists until blood seeped from his palms, but it did nothing to soothe the memory.

She betrayed ME! I have no reason to think of her ever again and after I win tonight, I'll make sure to kill her, too.

As the thought sped through his mind, another interrupted it of the moment when he first kissed her. The feelings he felt for the first time were impossibly warm. He knew he went too far and had scared her. With everything he knows she has been through, he wouldn't be surprised if she was afraid because she thought he would rape her.

His face turned solemn at the thought.

Is that why she left me?

He clicked his tongue, determined not to think of her ever again. He began speaking to the members of Tenjiku with passion, hoping it would keep his mind here and now, instead of with her.

Ran's POV

Always easily bored, he found himself incredibly distracted. Fighting is second nature for delinquents out of necessity. Most can't cut it, which is best for him anyway because they're easy to win against, albeit even more boring.

He doesn't make excuses for his behavior, and he rarely cares to ever apologize. But seeing her cry over that guy, he wanted to.

Don't get me started on how much I absolutely hated seeing her caring for that guy. If she was mine, I would've hit him again just for that alone.

He clicked his tongue as he continued to wait.

If she was mine, huh?

Denial really isn't just a river in Egypt.

He suddenly smiled when he remembered how she kissed him. Yeah it was quick and not nearly enough of what he wanted now that he thinks about it, but the memory sparked something deep in his heart.

I still friggin hate that guy.

Rindou's POV

Who the hell cares if she cried over her little boyfriend. We have a job to do, and if her boyfriend got in the way….

Is that guy her boyfriend? If he was, I wanna go back and finish the job.

Probably not. She seems the much more affectionate type when it comes to relationships.

Knowing that, I won't finish the job, but if I see him again, I'm breaking his arm or something.

Logically speaking, if she was dating him and she is more affectionate, exactly how much more affection…

He let out an annoyed sigh, cracking his knuckles in frustration.

If they don't get here in the next thirty damn minutes, I'm gonna start beating whoever is right here.
