The World’s King Slayer

Chapter 119: Return of the King Slayer pt. 6

Long before the day of Golden Eye's destruction the Topaz King was a regular human cultivator. A king obsessed with power like all others he was no different. Till the day the Engineer came to him with a breakthrough that would change his life forever. Engineer stared at the tank of swirling micro machine bots. They resembled flies as they moved about the glass tank. He stroked his mustache and reached for his coffee. The door to his lab opened and the Topaz King entered. Engineer choked on his coffee as he realized who was in the room.

Red Demon and his group rushed towards the giant hole and the swarm. They looked down, seeing a deep black pit. It was five miles wide and how deep they couldn't know for certain. They were then set upon by microbots Red Demon sent out a plume of fire at them to hold them off. "Got any spells Scarab!" Created a wall of fire to try and stop them. But they consumed the flames and turned into chi energy. Some then flew away from the swarm. Red Demon scowled in confusion. 'They absorb chi? And take it back to the hive being the king?' He created another wall of fire.

"Scarab!" Red Demon shouted he had a plan but if he was going to form a team he needed to also rely on others. But his patience was also running thin. He slashed at the microbots. He found that the blade's aura coming off it disrupted the bots and turned them to ash. But he couldn't kill all of them with the sword.

Scarab flipped through his grimoire and stopped on a page. "I got one that could lock them all in one place. After that we would need a bolt of lightning that could disrupt their circuitry" he created a barrier around them keeping the swarm at bay. "Alright! Smiling and Sun keep the king and swarm off us. I'm going to need a minute to conjure up the lightning!" He then went to the middle of the barrier and then held his hands up.

He focused on the sky above trying to take control of the very weather. Feeling the cold damp clouds above he swirled them with his power over Aqua. Controlling their temperatures he then created a small storm. He kept it swirling till he created a storm. The clouds turned black above the king who looked confused as he stared up with a dumbfounded look upon his face. He was closer to the storm looming above the city. Rain began to fall slowly at first and then began to pour down upon the destroyed smoldering city. Thunder started to rumble above. Red Demon felt the electricity building up with each rumble of thunder. A bolt flashed across the sky. "GET THE SPELL READY!" Red Demon shouted. Scarab began to mumble in a different language as his eyes began to glow purple.

Runes began to flow out from the book and swirl around his hand like a band. Then split into two bands and gyrated around one another. Around the swarm formed the same bands that spun gyrating around one another. It then split up into threads that solidified into a prism. The swarm fought against the prism that formed around them. The king looked at the storm and the prism around him. 'The rats are up to something. I always have to be theatrical. Should of killed them all when I had the chance!' He thought to himself screaming in his head.

He then manifested his sword and then jumped from his throne. He free fell towards the bottom of the giant barrier. The sky above flashed with lightning as it struck the prism. The barrier then became a giant size glass in a bottle. Only the bottle did not shatter into thousands of pieces. It bounced around inside the prism. The king saw as lightning bounced around turning into a cage. The bots were struck by the energy trapped inside.

Red Demon brought his hand down like a slash and another bolt struck the prism. More energy danced around inside. The king was struck multiple times as he felt his insides burn. Holes began to form on his body as microbots were destroyed. He tried to fly away but was struck in the back. He saw his microbot giant eyes slowly dissolve. Red Demon then swiped the air again sending another bolt. 'Picture the lightning as a blade of energy' he thought as he concentrated on repeating the teachings of Raijin to him.

Scarab felt his mind about to explode from the massive headache he was having. He fell to one knee as he tightened his grip on the band. It was now burning his hand but he kept up his concentration. "Were almost there…I can feel all the presences inside the cage. We're getting close! Next one give it all you got!" Scarab screamed. Red Demon understood. Wind began to swirl around them all as it swirled around the giant hole. They were now in a swirling tornado of wind as more lighting erupted from the sky striking the prism. Smiling and the Sun demon stood hitting away debris that came at the barrier. Sun Demon could see her father from far away. He was at the bottom of the prism and looked to be weakened. He was struck with a bolt as he fell. Soon the king was all that was left inside the prism floating. A bolt hit him again he was now only a chest and one arm with his head bobbing in surrender. Scarab had blood flowing from his nose as he finally broke. He fell forward holding his smoking hand. He spit blood and laid upon his back. He looked exhausted and covered in sweat. His grimoire disappeared inside his Mind Palace.

He pulled off his mask, wiping away the blood that was dripping on his cheek. He stared up at this spell that was disintegrating away. He could see the sky raining water upon the city putting out the fires and feeling cool upon his face. The Sun Demon approached her friend bending down to help him up. He groaned sitting up cradling his crippled hand. "I think we won?" he said to her. "I think so. I saw his crumbling body fall into the hole" Red Demon didn't move from his spot as he stared up at the raining sky. "This isn't over. This was too easy, that miserable king has to have something up his sleeve" Sun Demon stared at the hole. She had to agree that he was right. She knew her father better most and he would have a back plan to always win. They then saw the king crippled king floating up the sky hovering over the hole. Half his face was gone, he was still missing an arm, legs, and the bottom of his torso. "I will not let you beat me!" the King groaned. Red Demon without any hesitation activated his greaves and shot forward like a bullet. With a single slash he removed the king's head from his body with Havoc Flame.
