Chapter 67: Sit down
Zillah went silent for the hours she was being healed.
'Where is uncle?', she said to herself getting up.
"Where are you going Zillah?", Omna asked her as she had just dismissed his healing heading somewhere.
She looked at him for some seconds and resumed walking to the door. Aeron appeared in front of her, " get back". He said indicating with his chin.
She gave him a furious look. He didn't mind but walked closer to her, "sit down", he ordered.
Aeron was older than Zillah with a year and a few months. He is the eldest amongst Daivik, Keva, Cristal and even Alvah. But Alvah, Keva and Daivik are the same age as him but younger than him with a few months.
She saw the rage in his eyes so she sat back quietly. Omna had seen that Zillah had changed a bit but he doesn't want to look much into it.
He held her hands, continuing the healing process. She looked at her arm which is a lot better than before.
She stayed with him a few minutes when he stopped. She looked at him. He said to her, "I'm sorry but my healing powers isn't strong enough to heal scars".
"It's okay", she replied quickly. " Can I go now?", she asked Aeron looking without averting her gaze from his.
" Why were you out there alone?", he asked her curiously and with concern.
She couldn't reply. He asked further,
"Do they visit you occasionally torturing you?, is that the reason your attitude has changed Soo much?, you've become solemn"
" It's the first time they've visited me", she replied In a low tone.
"Are they looking for Alvah?", Omna asked without beating about the bush.
She looked at him, " I'm not sure why they came".
' I can't tell them Alvah is gone, they would be curious where he could be. I hope he wasn't affected by the burn Azazel caused, but why didn't he heal me in time if he felt it',
she spoke to herself.
" I'll take you to your room". Aeron offered. She stood up and he teleported with her.
When they got appeared in her room he watched as she walked to the bed slowly, she turned around to see him idly looking at her. She sat down on the bed looking at him.
This made him uncomfortable so he left. She stood up quickly, when her eyes caught hold of him standing in front of her.
She quickly came up with something, "I want to remove my boot". She said getting up from the bed, taking a step to the stool beside the bed.
"Take a rest Zillah", he said to her In a low tone but sounded worried.
That touched her, ' I really am miserable, she said to herself. But I have to meet with uncle'. As soon as he left, she teleported too.
"Uncle uncle", she called out to him. "Zillah", he appeared hugging her tightly.
"Look at your arm", he said lifting it up gently. " "I'm Okay", she said to calm him as she could sense the rage in him.
" I had gone for sometime but on my way coming back I could sense his evil energy. I couldn't go any further as he too would sense me, so I went back to Elysian, I saw Aeron wandering, and I spoke to him as an inner thought, to check the outskirts, so he found you there".
" I hope he wouldn't sense me, so I spoke quickly and left, it's a good thing he listened".
"You can do that?". She asked surprised and shocked. "Yes, this scar". he said looking at it.
" Uncle, I was worried if Alvah would be affected by what happened, he once told me he can't be in areas too hot for him as he would burn".
"His internal heat combined with mine, he would be hurt".
" Alvah would be okay as long as you're okay".
After a brief moment of thinking, she asked.
" But uncle, why didn't Alvah heal me the moment he felt he was in pain. This injury still hurts but it's like he doesn't feel it".
"He does, maybe he just wants to feel it too, he wants to go through the same pain as you, let it be".
Ghazan didn't understand what he had just said to her but seems like she bought it so he didn't bother.
" Now this happened, they sure will be over protective of you, I would come to call you if I want to see you, for now you are safer in Elysian. Go back".
She smiled and hugged him. " visit oftenly", she said before leaving.
He smiled and left, seeing her happy made him happy.
...
"I hope you're not upset because your teacher isn't here yet?", old sage asked.
" You sent a message, it's been one month, he eventually would turn up".
'I hope she does', the old sage thought. ' If she doesn't turn up in the next three days, I would tell her to go back'. He concluded.
"It's night, you should rest Alvah". "I'm not doing anything why can't I stay awake?", he asked.
Old sage laughed.
" You had told me not to leave, but I want to meet someone", he said remembering he needs to meet with Adalyn.
Old sage was stunned, "You have already met someone enough to visit the person, who is it?".
"I met her when I first arrived here". "She?", he asked, wishing it wasn't a female.
Alvah replied clearing his doubt. "She's a child".
"Okay", he sighed lightly. " I only stopped you because I thought you had no one in contact, you could visit her tomorrow if you want to".
" I have to rest, take care of yourself, good night". He left Alvah in the living room.
Alvah stayed there for an hour thinking about Zillah.
He doubts that she is okay, to be honest, her tears literally could've stopped him from going that day, but he promised himself, what he was doing was for her and him. He had to do it.
It was the next day, when the old man came out from his room, he checked on Alvah, he wasn't in.
"Where could he be?", he asked himself after checking the entire house.
He opened the door to the entrance of the house heading to the sea which was his last option.
He saw Alvah seated by the sea, feeling the cool breeze.
"Here you are", he said. Alvah turned around to see the old sage. " Why are you here?", he asked him.
"I was looking everywhere for you, so I thought to check here and here you are".
He sat down beside Alvah and asked. "How is the child?".
" I haven't gone to meet her yet, I would go in the evening".
" Okay. I wanted to tell you this, If your teacher doesn't turn up in three days time, I release you to go home, your loved ones might be desperate to see you".
" I wouldn't deprive them of the joy of seeing you again, besides the reason why you came here is accomplished".
