SAVIOURS!

"I'll join you guys, I wanna be a saviour too!" Jules spoke, his eyes beaming with excitement.

"What?!" The others stared at him in surprise.

"Really?!" Anne asked.

"Are you serious?" Chris asked.

'Well, that was fast" Elise thought.

"Yeah...I do" Jules looked down, a barely noticable hint of sadness in his expression. "I mean it's better to fight bad guys than die right?" He sighed.

Chris sighed and hugged Jules. "That was a tough decision huh?" He patted Jules softly. "But I promise you won't regret it" He smiled reassuringly.

"Welcome to the group Jules!" Anne leaped on Jules excitedly. "You weren't scared back there were you?" She asked teasingly.

"Well...not exactly" Jules said.

'One's got knives, another's got guns and the other's a pretty but grumpy girl whose blue eyes could snap my neck at any moment. Yep, scary as hell!' He thought.

Elise stared at their direction. 'Hmm..' she looked away. 'He's a strange kid' she thought. 'But who cares anyways' She sighed but flinched immediately and turned to Gary's direction.

"I see you guys are having a lot of fun huh?" Gary said. He stood still, blood dripping from the areas of his body Anne had shot.

"Not giving up huh?" Elise said blandly.

"You...how are you able to move?" Anne gasped.

"I...." cough...It was obvious Gary was very weak as he was finding it hard to stand straight.

"You..." He stared angrily at Jules.

"You're the reason they're all being so jolly huh?. I'll get you!" He ran with an inhuman speed with the intention to attack him.

Frightened, Jules impulsively stretched out his fist in hope of avoiding the attack. He looked away in fright of the results of his action. He then looked back at Gary and just like the others, he was in shock.

His hand had landed a heavy blow on Gary's forehead before he could attack him. A strong gust of brown hue radiating at the point of their collision and in a split second, Gary's body shattered and his blood splattered on Jules thereby staining his uniform.

"Oh my!" Anne exclaimed.

Jules stood still, his body shivering. "I...I just killed him" he stammered, not recovering from the shock of the impact of his punch on Gary's body.

"Nice work Jules!!" Anne leaped up. "Your first kill!" Chris spoke.

Jules looked down at his blood stained hand. "I...really have to get used to this?" He asked.

"Buddy?" Chris reached out to touch Jules's shoulder and was surprised when Jules looked towards him with teary eyes.

"Huh?...you're..."

"Huh?" Jules asked and soon realized he was crying.

"Oh, I guess I just couldn't handle it" He wiped off the tears from his cheeks and eyes.

'What a crybaby' Elise thought at the sight.

Chris smiled and patted him on the shoulder.

"You're so cute" He laughed.

"I'm not" Jules frowned.

"Master Benjamin is gonna be impressed to hear this" Anne said excitedly.

"Is he a saviour too?" He asked.

"Hmm...not exactly" Anne said.

"He's one of us but he doesn't fight although he possesses an ability as well" Chris spoke.

"So, you can just say he's our mentor" Anne smiled. "That's why we call him Master after all" She said.

"Enough chitchat" Elise said sternly.

"We should head back to school before P.E lessons start" She added.

"True" Anne nodded.

"But....." Jules spoke. "I'm kinda...you know, drenched in blood right now" He added.

"Oh boy, that's right" Chris said.

"Urgh" Elise facepalmed.

She began to take off her hoodie while walking towards him.

Soon, she was standing directly in front of him and looking up at him.

Jules's face turn red for a bit at the sight of her in her uniform top.

"Chris is gonna teleport you to the males restroom. Ensure to clean up properly and put this on to cover up your shirt" Elise said.

"It's oversized so it'll do" She looked away and walked towards Anne.

"Let's go" She said.

"Okie dokie" Anne chuckled.

"We should get going too" Chris said to Jules and he nodded.

'She so cool' Jules thought and blushed slightly.

3PM....

"You're lucky I was there to cover you bro. Who knows what the other guys would've thought if they saw all that blood stain on your shirt" Chris said to Jules.

"I know right?" Jules laughed.

"It's a good thing we wore our P.E uniforms for the next class I guess" Anne said.

"The look on Mr Erwin's face when he saw us was priceless" Chris laughed.

"Urgh, would this idiot quit being so loud?" Elise muttered irritatedly.

"Hey, I heard you!" Chris yelled.

"So?" Elise asked nonchalantly.

"Tch" Chris said angrily.

'They argue a lot, don't they?' Jules thought.

Anne looked up at Jules and noticed him staring at the other two curiously.

"Yeah, it happens all the time" She said.

"Huh?" Jules looked down at her.

"Their squabbles, it happens all the time" Anne laughed.

"Oh I see" Jules nodded.

"By the way Jules, I have a question" Anne said.

"Oh..um..what is it?" Jules asked curiously.

Anne grinned and gestured for him to lower his head and Jules did so.

"Do you perhaps have a crush on Elise?" She whispered in his ear.

Jules face turned completely red and he looked back at her flustered.

"What?!....no...of course not!" He denied hastily.

"Hmm..if you say so" Anne grinned.

'He says no but his face says otherwise' She thought and chuckled inwardly.

"Okay, we're here" Elise said.

Chris looked around. "You're right, no one's gonna see us here" he said.

He then looked back at Jules.

"You came up with a good excuse to tell your family right?" He asked.

"Oh..umm. yeah. My mum doesn't arrive until tomorrow and my sister was practically jubilating when i told her i was out with some friends" Jules said.

"Great!" Chris smiled.

"Now, let's go" Anne said excitedly.

"It's nice to know you're gonna be one of us after this buddy" Chris smiled.

"How corny" Elise rolled her eyes and stretched out her port-crystal thereby revealing a portal.

"What have you got against me huh?" Chris asked.

Elise simply sighed and ignored him as she walked into the portal.

"Hmph" Chris walked in as well and Anne followed.

Jules took a deep breath. 'It's time' He thought and walked into the portal after them.
