SAVIOURS!

"A....a mission?!" Jules exclaimed.

"I'll take that as a yes" Chris said. "Now come with me" He added.

"Ho...hold on." Jules was finding it hard to believe.

"We're going on a mission, to fight those dark villains or something?!" He asked still in doubt.

"Umm..yeah of course" Chris said.

"And you want me to come with you?!" Jules asked in surprise.

"What are you yapping about buddy?. Look, you're an ability user now and although you haven't agreed to join the saviours yet, I really really wanna fight bad guys with you" Chris said.

Jules : "....."

'Umm...what did he just say?' He thought.

"So, wanna go on your first mission?" Chris asked.

Jules thought for a moment and nodded. It sounded both nerve wracking and exciting.

"Okay" He agreed.

"Alright then, come with me" Chris said excitedly and Jules followed him.

As usual, he stretched out the round looking shining object and opened a portal.

"Is that like a teleportation crystal?" Jules asked.

"Well, yeah. We call it the port-crystal" Chris said.

"We've got no time to waste" He added and grabbed Jules thereby sending both of them into the portal. Soon, they appeared in a deserted place.

"Huh? Where is this place?" Jules asked.

"Oh, it's where the..." Chris was about to speak when...

"What the hell?!" Elise exclaimed.

"You brought the annoying kid!" She said furiously.

'Annoying...kid?' Jules frowned.

"Ha" Chris sighed. "I wanted to tell you beforehand but I knew you'd disagree" He added.

"Of course I would!, He's not even one of us and yet you bring him over for an important mission?" Elise asked, her tone being calm despite how mad she was.

"Elise, I don't see any harm in bringing Jules over. Besides, he may wanna join us after this" Anne said.

Elise sighed and looked up at Jules.

"Don't mess this up okay?" She said sternly. "I'm pretty sure you're gonna be useless anyways" She added.

"Uh...okay" Jules felt his entire existence shatter by how harsh she was.

"Hey, you don't get to insult my best friend that way!. Apologize!" Chris argued.

Elise simply rolled her eyes and ignored him.

"Master Benjamin confirmed the presence of a strong ability user. We've got no time to change so we'll have to fight in our school uniforms" She said.

Chris sighed, he had expected that reaction from her but the mission was more important at the moment. He nodded at Elise's words as well as Anne.

"Understood" Anne said.

"Let's get this over with, I can't afford to be late for class" Elise said.

Jules looked towards them and noticed how focused they were. "I'll do whatever I can to help" He said.

Elise looked up at him and scoffed. "Just stay back and..." She was cut short as a strong wind came blowing towards them.

The other three stood still and maintained their stance except Jules who was caught off guard and tumbled over by the impact of the wind.

"Ow.." He winced in pain.

"Buddy!" Chris called out when a tall male figure leaped unto him and began to strangle him.

"Summoning tornados huh?" Chris scoffed and twisted his body thereby landing a kick at the ability user and sending him flying. He immediately fell to the floor and stood up like nothing happened.

Elise looked up at him, Anne did the same and Chris smirked at the sight of him. Jules whom was still on the floor lifted his body and was astonished at the sight of the person before them.

"Yo" The ability user smiled. "Nice to meet you saviours, the name's Gary" he said.

"A new one huh?" Elise said nonchalantly.

"Hey beautiful" Gary smiled.

"Who is this weirdo?" Anne asked with disgust.

"Someone who's gonna die soon" Chris smirked. "Good thing I brought these" he said and brought out a knife from his pocket.

"A..knife?!" Jules exclaimed. He was standing up now, his uniform completely stained.

"Two actually" Chris chuckled and diverted his attention towards Gary. He raised both knives and they seemed to be floating. Soon, he sent one flying towards Gary whom swiftly dodged it.

"You'll have to do better than..." Gary was cut short as the knife came back towards him and stabbed him on the chest. The other knife stabbing his neck afterwards.

Jules stared at him in shock.

'Wait, does he plan to kill him?!' He thought.

Gary winced at the pain and laughed afterwards. "You son of a b*tch!" He sent another tornado towards Chris making him lose balance and bump into a rock.

Jules gasped. "C...Chris!" He exclaimed and ran towards Chris whose head was covered with blood.

"Not to worry Jules" Chris stood up like nothing happened. "It's nothing, I just hope my uniform isn't stained" He said.

"Your head is bleeding!, is that all you care about?!" Jules asked in surprise.

"Elise can heal me, it's no problem" Chris said.

Gary stared at Anne smiling. Blood dripping from both chest and neck.

"You look like a psychopath" Anne winced in disgust.

"What was that? You next?" Gary asked and leaped onto Anne. If anything, these beings sent from the dark associates were always super fast.

"Nuh uh" Anne did a backflip and leaped up whilst pointing her guns at Gary.

"Guns?! Seriously?!" Jules exclaimed.

BANG BANG. Two shots were heard as Anne shot Gary twice on the head.

Elise yawned. "This is boring" She said. She looked towards Jules and Chris and thought for a second.

"Hey Anne, don't kill him" She said.

Anne looked at her in surprise. Gary was currently on the floor with blood all over him, all that was left was the finishing blow.

"Let Martin over there handle it" She said.

"Wait, what?!. Me?!" Jules exclaimed.

'Firstly, did Elise just call me by my name?!. Well, not my first name but still, she called my name?. Also, I have to kill that being?!' His mind was all over the place.

"What? Can't do it?" Elise asked.

"No..it's just..uh...do I really have to kill.." Jules was cut short.

"Look kid, I don't know how you thought we defeated these beings but I gotta tell you. We get our hands dirty, we kill" Elise said sternly.

Jules looked down at Gary's partly lifeless body. His body trembling.

"Then, does that mean I'm really gonna die if I don't join you guys" he looked down.

Chris frowned and sighed. "We're yet to discover how to erase memories or get rid of abilities so yeah, we'll have to kill you" He said with disappointment evident in his tone. If anything, Jules has to accept the reality of things.

"How cruel!" Jules yelled. Chris looked up at him in surprise.

"I never asked for any of this you know!. I moved here hoping to live a peaceful life and remain an outcast with no friends but then you came along and..." Jules looked down, a well of tears gathering in his eyes.

Elise looked away. 'He's annoying but...' she thought.

"Go talk to him Anne" she said. "I can't deal with this right now" she added.

Anne sighed and walked towards Jules therby placing a hand on his shoulder.

"You know what Jules?" She said.

"What?" Jules looked down at her.

"I never asked to be a saviour either" she chuckled. "I also got my ability from an energy stone just like you did. It happened when I was kid" she said.

"Energy..stone?" Jules thought back. "So that was the strange glowing stone that went inside my body? And that's why I have this ability?" It all made sense to Jules now.

"Yep" Anne sighed.

"Same goes for me" Chris said.

"Yeah, it seems we just get chosen out of nowhere with no clue or idea why" Anne said. "But being a Saviour is the best thing that ever happened to me" She smiled.

"You get to realize your true purpose in life, a power you never knew you had inside of you, we work together cause we're not just friends but family" She added.

"And just so you know, the dark associates aren't exactly humans, they're monsters who use their abilities to kill innocent people and try to take over the world. We're saviours, we're heroes and not murderers" she continued.

"I know what I'm saying isn't enough to convince you but..." She was cut short abruptly.

"I'll join!" Jules said.

"Huh?" Anne eyes widened.

"I'll join you guys. I wanna be a saviour too!" Jules said, his eyes beaming with excitement.

"What?!" The others exclaimed.
