Pirates: Building a Pirate Family

Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Domineering and Overbearing

Three ships with pirate flags docked at the shore and fired shells towards the port.

"Captain! This time we can make a lot of money. There are many merchant ships at this port, and they have no means of resistance. We're going to strike it rich!"

A pirate, wearing a hood and holding a knife, looked toward the port and said.

"Kahahahaha! Men, go and seize this town!"

The pirate captain, wearing a captain's hat, pointed toward the town with a large knife in his hand and shouted loudly.

"Kill! Kill! Go! The women and treasures are mine!"

The pirates on the three ships rushed toward the port with large strides, their faces filled with greed and excitement.

When the people at the port saw the pirates, they ran desperately into the town, some even jumping directly into the sea.

"Help! The pirates have landed! Run!"

"Get out of the way, don't push me!"

The port was filled with cries, shouts, and curses as people scrambled in all directions.

Countless shells flew over their heads and struck the houses, causing them to catch fire and further intensifying the chaos.

"Woo woo woo woo!"

"Help me! Help me!"

There were cries for help, shouts, and children standing frozen in place in a daze.

"What!"

A miserable cry rang out.

Everyone looked toward the sound.

A dock worker had fallen to the ground, stabbed by a pirate's knife.

"Run!"

The crowd that had gathered at the port went wild, charging forward in a desperate panic.

The port was in complete chaos, and stampedes broke out everywhere. Many people lost their lives in the chaos, trampled by others.

The pirates had killed only one person, yet countless others died in the stampede.

"Hahaha, it's our turn now, Captain!"

The first officer said, watching as his pirates cleared the port.

Bang!

"You bastard, I didn't tell you to speak!"

The captain slapped the first officer aside, then arrogantly marched down.

"I am the captain of the Bear Pirates, Alex Jesse, a notorious pirate with a bounty of 500 Baileys. Anyone who wants to live must hand over all their treasures!"

Alex Jesse walked onto a raised platform and shouted loudly.

The noise from the crowd instantly died down.

Everyone looked at the towering three-meter-tall man with fear on their faces.

Charlotte, who had just arrived, heard his declaration.

"Forty-three million Baileys!"

Charlotte silently read it.

At this time, Bailey hadn't depreciated much in 40 years. If it were converted into today's currency, he would be a major pirate worth hundreds of millions.

Charlotte wasn't sure how to deal with the situation.

Seeing everyone stunned by him, Alex Jesse laughed loudly.

"Men, move out all the treasures in this town, and kill anyone who dares resist!"

Alex Jesse waved his hand.

"Charge!"

Over 100 pirates rushed into the town, brandishing knives and guns.

"I'll see who dares!"

Charlotte couldn't sit still any longer. He immediately leaped from the roof, delivering two punches to the first pirate in his path.

"Huh? Who's that?"

Alex Jesse, hearing the commotion, looked at the boy who suddenly appeared and laughed.

"Kahahaha! Kid, you dare to stop me? Go back to drinking your mother's milk!"

The other pirates joined in the laughter.

Charlotte frowned.

Without speaking, he jumped again, vanishing from sight. Then he reappeared behind two young pirates.

Bang! Bang!

The two young men immediately spat blood and fell to the ground.

"Huh?"

Alex Jesse's expression darkened as he looked at Charlotte, now furious.

"Kill him, men!"

Alex Jesse pointed at Charlotte, holding a two-meter-long sword.

"Kill him! Go!"

Over 100 pirates charged at Charlotte, armed with flintlock guns and knives.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Bullets were fired rapidly at Charlotte.

But Charlotte, with his domineering aura, effortlessly dodged them by swiftly shaking his head and body.

"Interesting."

Alex Jesse frowned when he saw this, sensing something was off. This boy was not someone to be taken lightly.

Despite facing so many pirates, Charlotte showed no sign of panic. Instead, he plunged into the crowd of pirates, swinging his sword mercilessly.

Pirate limbs flew in all directions.

Countless pirates howled in pain.

Charlotte ignored the screams, focusing solely on the kill.

Each strike brought a rush of excitement, the long-suppressed frustrations vented with every blow.

"Kill! Kill! Kill!"

Charlotte's eyes gleamed with bloodlust as he continued his relentless assault.

Many pirates were intimidated by Charlotte's aura, too afraid to charge.

But their hesitation didn't stop Charlotte.

He tore through the pirates like a tiger in a flock of sheep, slashing and killing without mercy.

"Damn it!"

Alex Jesse's anger flared as he watched his men fall. These pirates had been gathered after years of effort, and now they were being slaughtered on such a small island.

As Alex Jesse seethed with rage, the people at the port were stunned by the sight of Charlotte, who was cutting through the pirates with the ease of chopping vegetables. The onlookers, mouths agape, could hardly believe what they were seeing.

"Cool!"

Charlotte threw his head back and howled to the sky.

An overwhelming aura erupted from his body.

The aura spread out, and anyone who came into contact with it—pirates and civilians alike—fainted to the ground, motionless.

This sight left Alex Jesse wide-eyed in disbelief.

"This is the Conqueror's Haki! How could this kid possess Conqueror's Haki?!"

As an experienced pirate who had been on the seas for years, Alex Jesse recognized the signs of Conqueror's Haki.

Meanwhile, Charlotte, still intoxicated by the thrill of killing, paid no attention to the fallen foes around him. He continued his relentless rampage.

Alex Jesse stood frozen, terror gripping him.

Ivan, who arrived late to the scene, was also stunned by the sheer power of Charlotte's Haki. He swayed, unable to maintain his balance.

"What... what's happening?"

Ivan leaned against a nearby pillar and struggled to steady himself as he looked in the direction of the battle.

What he saw was a scene he would never forget: His boss, the notorious pirate Alex Jesse, was now the only one standing, while the pirates around him lay defeated.

Alex Jesse, gripping his sword, squatted down, trying to resist Charlotte's overwhelming aura.
