Chapter 109: Chapter 109

**Chapter 109: Mastering the Cloud Piercing Shuttle**

By sheer luck, Zhao Ling discovered that the Cloud Piercing Shuttle possessed an autonomous flight function.

His eyes lit up instantly. *An autonomous flying vessel?* This must be the creation of an advanced immortal cultivation plane—there was no other explanation for its extraordinary capabilities.

Eager to test it, Zhao Ling activated the autonomous flight function. Moments later, two devices emerged on the deck near the rudder. One resembled a compass, indicating directions, and the other appeared to be a detailed map of the Douluo Continent.

Zhao Ling first adjusted the compass to point towards Tiandou Imperial City. Then, on the map, he gently tapped the city's location with his finger. The Cloud Piercing Shuttle subtly shifted direction and began its journey. For the first time, Zhao Ling let go of the rudder, freeing his hands.

"Not bad! I didn't expect this thing to actually fly on its own. The system's creations are always top-notch!" Zhao Ling gave an approving thumbs-up, his excitement evident.

Turning to Ah Yin beside him, he said with a smile, "Yin'er, let's go. I'll show you the cabin's interior."

"Hmm..." Ah Yin's eyes sparkled with curiosity. She took Zhao Ling's arm and eagerly followed him inside.

Meanwhile, Bo Saixi remained on deck, frowning slightly. She was increasingly convinced that Zhao Ling harbored many secrets. A ship like this wasn't just rare—it was unheard of, even across the entire Sea God Island and Douluo Continent. Zhao Ling had claimed he found it in ancient ruins, but Bo Saixi was skeptical. She had never encountered such a relic in any known records or ruins.

Moreover, Zhao Ling's knowledge troubled her. How could he, a mere Titled Douluo, know about Tang Chen being deceived by the Rakshasa God and parasitized by the Blood-Red Nine-Headed Bat King? Such insights into divine matters were highly unusual.

The "Copy of Zhao Ling's Diary," purportedly sent to her by Lord Poseidon, only deepened her doubts. Typically, divine oracles were delivered directly or whispered into one's ear, not in such a convoluted manner. Could this be a misunderstanding on her part?

The more she thought about it, the more uneasy she became. Perhaps Lord Poseidon had never commanded her to leave Sea God Island to rescue Tang Chen. If so, she might have acted rashly, abandoning her duties as the island's High Priest.

Caught between her responsibility to Sea God Island and her personal desire to save Tang Chen, Bo Saixi felt torn. She resolved to stay a little longer to uncover Tang Chen's whereabouts. 'If I can save him, even briefly, from the Rakshasa God's influence, it will be worth it,' she thought.

Meanwhile, Zhao Ling and Ah Yin explored the cabin. It was a two-story space with two rooms on each floor. Each room was fully equipped with beds, clean linens, tables, chairs, and bookshelves filled with reading materials.

Zhao Ling curiously picked a book off a shelf, only to realize it was titled *The Domineering Prince Falls in Love with Me.* He quickly returned it to its place, suppressing his embarrassment, and grabbed another book called *The Queen Ran Away with the Baby.*

Frustrated, he smacked his forehead. "Why are such ridiculous books on this ship? Isn't this supposed to be an artifact of an immortal cultivation plane? Where are the serious texts like *A Detailed Explanation of Formations* or *Complete Forbidden Techniques*?"

Noticing Zhao Ling's exaggerated reaction, Ah Yin took the book from him, her curiosity piqued.

"Yin'er, these books aren't worth reading," Zhao Ling protested.

"You don't want me to read it? That makes me want to even more!" Ah Yin retorted with a mischievous grin and promptly began flipping through the pages. Despite Zhao Ling's efforts to dissuade her, she quickly became engrossed in the story.

The day passed swiftly, and by nightfall, the Cloud Piercing Shuttle had arrived above Tiandou Imperial City. Zhao Ling couldn't help but marvel at its efficiency. Though its speed wasn't remarkable, the direct route it took through the skies significantly reduced travel time. Unlike carriages winding through the terrain below, the shuttle's path was a straight line, saving hours of detours.

However, with the city gates closed for the night, Zhao Ling had no choice but to camp outside until morning.
