Chapter 108: Chapter 108
**Chapter 108: Using the Cloud Shuttle**
Bo Saixi considered another possibility: Zhao Ling might have asked the driver to take them to a remote path to do something improper to her.
The idea amused her. Since Zhao Ling knew she was the High Priest of Sea God Island, he should also understand her strength. If he really tried something in a deserted area, she would undoubtedly beat him so thoroughly that he'd cry for his parents.
Despite her musings, Bo Saixi couldn't figure out Zhao Ling's true intentions. She decided to observe and wait.
Following Zhao Ling's instructions, the driver veered onto a remote path and eventually stopped the carriage on a country road far from any village or shop.
Zhao Ling turned to Ah Yin and said, "Yin'er, let's get off the carriage."
Although puzzled, Ah Yin trusted Zhao Ling implicitly and didn't question him. She got off the carriage without hesitation.
Bo Saixi found herself in an awkward situation. She could either stay in the carriage and return to Spirit City or follow Zhao Ling. Determined not to miss the chance to uncover Tang Chen's whereabouts, she gritted her teeth and disembarked.
After paying the driver, the carriage departed in a cloud of dust, leaving Zhao Ling, Ah Yin, and Bo Saixi standing on the deserted path.
Zhao Ling turned to Bo Saixi and asked with a teasing smile, "So, Miss Bo... Bo Nasha, was it? Where exactly are you headed? Or are you planning to just follow us?"
"Ahem..." Bo Saixi nearly choked. She could tell he was mocking her. 'Bo Nasha? Who is my sister Bo Ni?' Resisting the urge to hit him, she replied with feigned sadness, "I don't know where to go. I can only take one step at a time. Sorry for disturbing your peace."
Ah Yin stifled a laugh at Bo Saixi's pitiful act. She knew the other woman wouldn't leave so easily, especially without learning about Tang Chen.
However, Ah Yin also realized she needed to intervene. With her husband's occasionally oblivious behavior, he might actually brush Bo Saixi off and leave her behind. That would be a waste of an ally-in-the-making.
Taking Zhao Ling's hand, Ah Yin said sweetly, "Husband, this sister has been through so much. She came to Spirit City and had all her money stolen by a pickpocket. She's already so pitiful. Why don't we let her stay with us?
"Besides, Sister Dong'er stayed behind in Spirit City, and I feel so lonely. With Sister Saixi here, I'll have someone to chat with. Wouldn't that be nice?"
She gazed at Zhao Ling with hopeful eyes. After a moment, he sighed and nodded.
"Fine, if she wants to stay, she can stay. It's no big deal—I can afford it."
Zhao Ling didn't put much thought into it. A beautiful woman like Bo Saixi staying with them? Even if he couldn't pursue her, having her around was still a visual treat. He grinned at the thought.
But the next moment, Zhao Ling pulled something out of his storage space—the Cloud Piercing Shuttle. He tossed it a short distance away, and to the amazement of the two women, it began to expand.
In mere seconds, the Cloud Piercing Shuttle grew into a large wooden ship with two sails. It was about 20 meters long, six meters wide, and as tall as a three-story building. While it couldn't compare to the massive ships Zhao Ling had seen in his past life, its dual-purpose design for air and sea travel made it a treasure.
Ah Yin and Bo Saixi stared at the ship in stunned silence.
What is this? How can a ship appear out of nowhere? And on land, no less!
Bo Saixi's mind raced. There's no record of such a thing existing on the Douluo Continent. And he pulled this off without batting an eye. What kind of treasure is this?
Zhao Ling ignored their shock. He picked up Ah Yin, leaped gracefully into the air, and landed on the ship's deck.
Not to be outdone, Bo Saixi followed suit, landing lightly on the deck beside them. Once aboard, the three had a better view of the ship's features.
Zhao Ling walked to the stern, where a small spirit-gathering array was located. From his storage space, he retrieved two spirit stones and placed them into the array. These spirit stones, part of his reward for obtaining the Cloud Piercing Shuttle, were incredibly precious.
The moment the spirit stones were placed, they began releasing pure heaven-and-earth energy. The spirit-gathering array amplified this energy, drawing in additional ambient energy.
To Bo Saixi's astonishment, the ship started to rise. In moments, it floated 100 meters above the ground.
It can fly? This ship can actually fly?!
Bo Saixi was completely dumbfounded. She had never seen anything like it.
Meanwhile, Zhao Ling walked to the bow and gripped the rudder. After a few minutes of experimentation, he mastered the controls and began steering the ship toward the northern regions of Tiandou City.
The Cloud Piercing Shuttle climbed higher and higher until it reached an altitude of several thousand meters. The wind roared around them, but thankfully, the ship's speed wasn't overwhelming—it could only cover 3,000 miles a day. Zhao Ling was relieved, as he worried that Ah Yin, whose soul power was still sealed, might otherwise be blown off the ship.
Ah Yin approached Zhao Ling, her face full of wonder. "Husband, what is this ship? It can fly! It's incredible!"
Zhao Ling lied effortlessly. "This is the Cloud Piercing Shuttle, a dual-purpose air and sea vessel. I found it in some ancient ruins."
Bo Saixi and Ah Yin exchanged skeptical glances. Neither of them believed his explanation. The idea of "ancient ruins" was laughable, especially since neither had ever heard of such a thing existing on the Douluo Continent.
Still, they chose not to press the issue. Bo Saixi, in particular, decided to bide her time. This man clearly had more secrets than she'd realized.
