People are writing diaries in Douluo, Bibi Dong is crazy about it

Chapter 107: Chapter 107

**Chapter 107: Do You Dislike Her So Much?**

Bo Saixi secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Since the "Copy of Zhao Ling's Diary" was only visible to her, dealing with its contents would be much easier. She no longer had to worry about others knowing when she read the diary.

As Zhao Ling absorbed the teachings of the Xuantian Baolu granted by the system, both women were engrossed in their exclusive "Copies of Zhao Ling's Diary." For a moment, the carriage was steeped in silence.

After finishing her diary, Ah Yin turned to Bo Saixi with a warm smile and introduced herself.

"Sister, my name is Ah Yin. What's your name? I never imagined we'd be so fated. I met you just a few days ago, and now we're riding in the same carriage."

Bo Saixi smiled calmly and nodded.

"Hello, my name is Bo Saixi. Now that you mention it, I do recall seeing you a few days ago. It seems we are indeed destined to meet."

Bo Saixi was willing to bend the truth to stay close to Zhao Ling and uncover Tang Chen's whereabouts. Lying without hesitation, she made it seem as though her connection to Ah Yin was a twist of fate.

However, she knew full well that she had been lingering in that inn for days, waiting for Zhao Ling and Ah Yin to leave the Spirit Hall. The moment she saw them depart, she seized the opportunity to hitch a ride.

Ah Yin was aware of this, too. But instead of being upset, she welcomed Bo Saixi's presence. Both she and Bibi Dong had noticed something peculiar about Zhao Ling.

Since the second day they arrived in Spirit City, Zhao Ling seemed to have awakened a special ability. It subtly deepened their affection for him while diminishing any negative impressions they had.

If not for Zhao Ling's overly powerful physique, neither Ah Yin nor Bibi Dong would have wanted to leave him at all. Though they couldn't identify the source of this mysterious ability, they suspected it enhanced Zhao Ling's natural attraction to women.

For them, this trait was invaluable—it would make it easier to recruit more women as their allies in the future. Even if Bo Saixi had loved another man before, Ah Yin was confident that with enough time, her feelings for Tang Chen would fade, replaced by devotion to Zhao Ling.

Smiling slyly, Ah Yin leaned in and asked Bo Saixi with a gentle tone, "Sister Saixi, you're not from Spirit City, are you? If I remember correctly, you mentioned a few days ago that you came here to find someone?"

Bo Saixi's gaze shifted between Zhao Ling and Ah Yin as she debated whether to mention Tang Chen. She hoped that by bringing him up, Zhao Ling, who knew Tang Chen's whereabouts, might inadvertently reveal the information she sought.

After carefully weighing her options, Bo Saixi nodded solemnly.

"Yes, you're right. I'm not from Spirit City. To be precise, I'm from an island far from here called Sea God Island. I've come to the mainland to find a man named Tang Chen."

She elaborated, sharing details about her home and her journey to Spirit City, claiming she was here to seek help from old friends in locating Tang Chen.

To evoke sympathy, Bo Saixi fabricated a tale about being pickpocketed during her stay in Spirit City, leaving her penniless. She even dabbed her eyes with a handkerchief, feigning sorrow.

Her story was a mix of 70% truth and 30% lies. She believed that her sincerity, coupled with her charm, might coax some useful information out of Zhao Ling.

As she spoke, Bo Saixi occasionally stole glances at Zhao Ling, hoping to gauge his reaction.

What she failed to consider, however, was the nature of men. Even though Bo Saixi wasn't Zhao Ling's woman, any normal man would hesitate to divulge Tang Chen's whereabouts after seeing such a beautiful face. Why send a sheep into the tiger's den?

For most men, a beauty like Bo Saixi was something to possess—or at least, to prevent others from possessing. Expecting Zhao Ling to willingly help her find Tang Chen was wishful thinking at best.

Zhao Ling's mouth twitched as he listened to her tale, silently voicing his complaints.

---

[Seriously, can you stop lying so blatantly? Who are you kidding? You're the High Priest of Sea God Island! What pickpocket would dare steal from you? They'd be dead on the spot. At least come up with a better excuse for hopping on the carriage.]

---

Ah Yin, meanwhile, stifled a laugh. Her mouth twitched as she regarded Bo Saixi with an expression of amused disbelief. 'Does this woman think we're fools?'

She knew that Zhao Ling was fully aware of Bo Saixi's identity and that he'd undoubtedly written about it in his diary. Watching Bo Saixi fabricate such an obvious lie was nothing short of comedic.

Bo Saixi realized that both Zhao Ling and Ah Yin saw through her lies but were playing along. She, too, feigned ignorance, but the mutual charade left her deeply frustrated.

What irked her even more was the strange limitation imposed by the "Copy of Zhao Ling's Diary." Whenever she tried to reveal its contents, she inexplicably lost the ability to speak.

This restriction gave her a headache, but she wondered if there might be a loophole. 'If I can't speak about the diary, maybe I can write it down?'

Her eyes brightened at the thought. If she could transcribe the diary's contents, she might confront Zhao Ling directly about Tang Chen.

However, Zhao Ling ignored her hopeful gaze, lifting the carriage curtain to peer outside. He noticed they were nearing the outskirts of the city, though the road was still bustling with carriages and pedestrians.

"Driver," Zhao Ling called out, "could you take a more secluded route and drop us off there?"

"Of course," the driver replied without hesitation.

Zhao Ling had previously informed the driver of their plan to leave the city, and as long as he was paid adequately, the driver had no objections.

Ah Yin, however, was puzzled. 'Why does my husband want to take a remote path? Is it because Bo Saixi said she had no money and he doesn't want her tagging along? That doesn't seem like him. He's not stingy.'

Bo Saixi was equally dissatisfied. She had boarded the carriage to stay close to Zhao Ling and gather information, yet he was already planning to disembark.

'What is this supposed to mean? Does he dislike me so much that he doesn't even want to share a carriage with me?'
