Marine Headquarters

Beneath a pulled black shroud, Blackbeard finally completed his objective. He had seized the power of the legendary pirate Whitebeard; he had obtained the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit!

Under the tense gaze of countless Marines, Blackbeard emerged from beneath the shroud. Laffitte and the others, chuckling, pulled the screen away, revealing Whitebeard's corpse once more.

"Zehahahahaha!"

Blackbeard threw his arms wide, his face a mask of arrogance and exultation. The Marines stared at him warily, their eyes scrutinizing his every move.

"He doesn't look any different."

"What did Blackbeard do to Whitebeard?"

The Marine officers were lost in thought. Then, Garp, his expression hardened, clenched his fist, a thick layer of black Armament Haki coating it. He lunged forward, aiming a devastating punch at Blackbeard.

"How impressive," Blackbeard grinned, his eyes glinting. He clenched his fist, mimicking Whitebeard's stance, and unleashed a counterpunch, meeting Garp's attack head-on.

Crack!!!

The air shattered with a deafening sound.

Before their horrified eyes, Blackbeard fractured the very air, unleashing the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit, repelling Garp's attack.

The shockwave ripped across Marineford, throwing the Marines off balance.

"Are you kidding me?!"

"Whitebeard's power?!"

The Marines stared at Blackbeard in disbelief, their faces a mixture of shock and anger.

"That bastard Blackbeard…"

"He can't have two Devil Fruit powers!" one of them cried, their voice trembling. Marco, teeth gritted, muttered, "Normal people can't. But Blackbeard's body is different. He's an anomaly. Is that the reason?"

Blackbeard lifted both his hands, his left hand wreathed in dark, flame-like energy, his right hand glowing with a white light, the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit.

"The dark gravity that devours everything, and the power to destroy everything! With both these powers, I'm invincible! From now on… I am The Strongest!"

Blackbeard's voice boomed across Marineford, his declaration reaching not only the Marines but also those watching the broadcast on other islands, sending shivers down their spines.

With both the Darkness-Darkness Fruit and the Tremor-Tremor Fruit, Blackbeard had attained a level of power thought impossible. Who could possibly stop him now?

...

Just as the battlefield seemed to freeze, a deafening roar echoed across the sky. For some reason, in this chaotic battle, it was transmitted with incredible clarity to everyone present. Everyone froze, their attention drawn to the sky.

Blackbeard narrowed his eyes, looking towards the source of the roar. Garp, Sengoku, Marco, Jozu, the pirates, the Revolutionaries, and even the Marines turned their heads.

A colossal western white dragon descended from the sky, its massive wings beating against the air.

The raw power of its presence swept across the battlefield.

Those who had felt the power of Shanks' Conqueror's Haki knew this was something far greater.

And atop the dragon stood a figure. A man in black pants, t-shirt, and white sneakers, with windswept black hair and pale skin, and distinctive tear marks beneath his green eyes, stood calmly. His expression was serene.

As he became visible, the entire atmosphere of Marineford seemed to freeze, as if time itself had stopped.

...

...

As he appeared before them, everyone knew who he was. Even those watching the broadcast on other islands froze, their faces turning pale. "It's… the Black-Winged Demon!"

Scratchmen Apoo, sweat beading on his forehead, stared at the screen. "No way… That guy's here now?!"

"The man closest to a god…" Eustass Kid muttered, his face grim.

"The Most Intimidating man…" Urouge whispered, his face pale.

...

Not only the Supernovas, but the Marines as well, including Aokiji and Momousagi, were filled with dread. What was he doing here?

"The Black-Winged Demon…"

"Even the sacred dragon of Mary Geoise has submitted to him?!" Fleet Admiral Sengoku said, his fist clenching, his face revealing a level of fear he rarely showed.

He knew better than anyone the true extent of Ian Powers.

That dragon was an Ancient Weapon, possessing power that surpassed even the Yonko!

Blackbeard, who believed himself to be invincible after acquiring two Devil Fruit powers, was nothing compared to the Black-Winged Demon. If all his powers were attributed to Devil Fruits, he had possessed at least five.

Blackbeard's body might have been an anomaly, but this man… was something else entirely.

But Ace and Whitebeard were dead. What was the point of his arrival now? The Whitebeard Pirates, including Garp, didn't react with joy.

"If you still consider yourself a Marine Vice Admiral, or even a Warlord of the Sea, then don't interfere with this battle!" Akainu roared, his face contorted in fury.

Ian looked around the battlefield, at the countless corpses, and at Whitebeard's unmoving body. He ignored Akainu, his voice calm and devoid of emotion as he said, "I'm here… to end this war."

His words, though spoken softly, carried a weight that silenced the battlefield. He seemed to possess a strange power that diminished the will to fight. Sengoku, his fists clenched, looked at him. "End the war?"

Ian swept his gaze across the battlefield, taking in a barely conscious Luffy, a distraught Sabo, Marco, Jozu, Aokiji, Momousagi and others.

He spoke. "You all know that Whitebeard was a good man, not really a pirate. He did more for the world than you Marines. And Kaido and Big Mom are already gone. You don't have to keep attacking them."

"To be honest, I'm disappointed. But that's in the past. The World Government is gone now. You Marines are free of their orders."

"…"

Silence fell across the battlefield. The World Government was gone? That powerful entity, that had ruled the world for eight centuries, was gone? The Marines were aware of their fearsome power.

The World Government had controlled the seas with an army of Tens of Thousands Elite Marine soldiers and a million soldiers on land.

They had their own CP forces and countless biological weapons. And now they were gone?

Had he destroyed the World Government while they fought Whitebeard? Was that the reason for his late arrival?

The Marines widened their eyes in disbelief. A storm of shock and disbelief washed over Marineford.

The Celestial Dragons, the descendants of the twenty kings who had founded the World Government eight centuries ago!

They called themselves the descendants of the creators and looked down on the rest of humanity as slaves, wielding absolute power.

They were more despicable than any pirate, and yet… for eight centuries, no one had dared to challenge them.

To even touch a Celestial Dragon meant facing the full might of the Marines and the CP forces.

Throughout history, some Celestial Dragons had mysteriously vanished. Those cases remained unsolved, and the perpetrators hidden from view.

No one had ever openly admitted to attacking a Celestial Dragon.

Yet now, before the Fleet Admiral, three Admirals, and tens of thousands of Marines, this man had claimed to have destroyed them. It was an act of defiance beyond imagination.

...

"A Devil! He's a Devil!"

"Those were the World Nobles!"

"You bastard Marines, what are you talking about?"

"You idiots! Do you even know what the Celestial Dragons are? They're nothing but scum, parasites on this world!"

"Compared to their atrocities, we pirates are saints. The Black-Winged Demon did what was right. The Celestial Dragons deserve to be erased from this world!" the Whitebeard Pirates and Revolutionaries cried out in defense.

The Marines flushed with anger. They wanted to retort, but they were also struggling to deny the truth in their words. Even among the Marines, many had secretly abhorred the Celestial Dragons' cruelty, their views hidden behind a facade of duty. And now… they were gone.

"Pirate Empress… what's wrong?"

Dracule Mihawk, observing the battle from the sidelines, noticed that Boa Hancock seemed different. The aloof, composed Empress of Amazon Lily, a figure who had watched the battle with detached indifference, was now visibly emotional.

And for good reason. Behind her calm exterior lay a dark secret, a past she could never reveal.

Sixteen years ago, at the age of twelve, she and her two sisters had been kidnapped and enslaved by the Celestial Dragons in Mary Geoise, enduring five long years of unimaginable torment. That was her greatest secret.

Mary Geoise and the Celestial Dragons were her deepest, most horrifying trauma. Even with her Warlord-level strength, she couldn't look back without pain. But now…

That shadow was finally receding. It was as if a beam of light had pierced her darkness, illuminating her heart, offering a glimpse of something new.

She gazed at Ian who had defied the Celestial Dragons, her long eyes widening with something akin to hope.

But then her expression faltered. Even as the most beautiful woman in the world, was she worthy of a man who seemed like a god? And besides… it seemed that he had someone by his side...

"However, I left some of the Celestial Dragons and the CP forces alive. I'm sure some of you might like to settle some scores of your own."

"If you can't even handle the leftovers, then maybe you shouldn't be in charge."

"Enough!" Sengoku interrupted Onigumo, looking at Ian. He also looked at Blackbeard. "Though even if we agree to a ceasefire, there are some who might not," Sengoku said.

Ian chuckled, glancing at Blackbeard, who was staring back at him. Blackbeard flinched, feeling a sense of unease, but then he felt the power of the Darkness-Darkness Fruit and Tremor-Tremor Fruit and he straightened his posture.

"I might have been terrified before, but with this power, I am no longer afraid of you. I am the strongest now…"

Whoosh!

Blackbeard's voice was cut short.

The battlefield fell silent. Everyone widened their eyes, staring at the man in disbelief. Their minds were blank. They saw him holding his left hand aloft…

A white light pulsed in his palm. A massive golden clock descended from the sky, Sengoku and Garp widened their eyes.

"That's… his power... but it's still useless. You can't bring back the dead!"

Sengoku said. Neither the Time-Time Fruit user on Mary Geoise, nor Im, possessed the power to bring back the dead.

And their clocks were all illusions. This clock was real and massive. As they watched, the hands of the clock began to spin backwards.

The Five Elders could only rewind seconds, Im could rewind a couple of minutes at most, but the clock before them... was now moving in reverse.

It had jumped four hours into the past.
