Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

Sarutobi Hiruzen had made up his mind—Danzo could no longer serve as the root of Konoha. He would not allow Danzo's unchecked ambitions and actions to undermine the village any further. 

Even with his own wounds, his focus remained sharp. He thought ahead: if Uchiha Madara was treated with respect and given an honorable place in the village, the Uchiha clan could become a loyal asset under his leadership. Konoha would remain under his control, even in this new era.

But first, Danzo had to be stopped.

### Danzo's Last Trick: Izanagi

Hiruzen thought he had dealt the finishing blow. His kunai had pierced Danzo's chest, ending the fight—or so he believed.

"Goodbye, Danzo," Hiruzen whispered.

But then, Danzo's body shimmered and vanished like a mirage. A split second later, Hiruzen felt a sharp, searing pain as a **Vacuum Sphere** ripped through his chest. Blood spattered the ground as he staggered forward, turning to see Danzo standing behind him, unharmed.

"You… when…?" Hiruzen gasped, his voice weak.

Danzo held up his hand, revealing a **Sharingan** embedded in his palm. The eye had gone pale and lifeless, its power exhausted. "Izanagi," he said with a sick smile. "The ultimate power of the Uchiha clan. A technique you knew about but never imagined I could use. Goodbye, Hiruzen. Konoha will finally know true strength under my rule."

Hiruzen coughed violently, blood spilling from his mouth. His body began to falter, and he fell to his knees.

### The Betrayal of Orochimaru

Before Danzo could deliver the final blow, a flash of steel pierced through his chest. Danzo froze in disbelief as he turned to see Orochimaru standing behind him, his blade dripping with blood.

"Orochimaru… you…" Danzo gasped, his voice filled with shock.

Orochimaru's cold gaze met Danzo's. "You overstepped, Danzo. The village doesn't need someone like you at its helm."

As Danzo crumpled to the ground, his life fading, Sarutobi Hiruzen's body slumped forward as well. The Third Hokage, having held on just long enough to witness Orochimaru's intervention, finally succumbed to his injuries.

### The Fallout

The battlefield grew still as the news spread. 

"Lord Hokage has fallen!" an ANBU shouted, his voice cracking with despair.

ANBU and Sarutobi clan ninjas, filled with rage and grief, attacked the remaining Root operatives with renewed fervor. Orochimaru, his expression unreadable, gave a cold command: "Eliminate all remnants of Root and Sunagakure's forces. Konoha cannot afford loose ends."

Roy and Tsunade arrived moments later. Tsunade knelt by Hiruzen's body, her hands glowing with chakra as she tried to assess the situation. But her efforts were in vain. She stood slowly, her face pale.

"Lord Hokage… is gone," she said quietly, her voice trembling. 

ANBU ninjas and Sarutobi clan members turned to her in disbelief, pleading desperately. "Tsunade-sama, you're the greatest medical ninja in the world! Surely you can save him!"

But Tsunade shook her head. "There's nothing I can do… he's gone."

### Uchiha Madara's Amusement

From his vantage point, Uchiha Madara observed the unfolding chaos with a bemused expression. He placed the injured ninja he had been carrying onto the ground and sat down on a nearby rock, watching the drama with interest.

"Well, well," he muttered, smirking. "Something big just happened. Maybe I can finally take a break."

### Kumogakure and Iwagakure Withdraw

As news of Sarutobi Hiruzen's death spread, the perceptive ninjas of Kumogakure and Iwagakure realized the precariousness of the situation.

"Lord Raikage," a Kumogakure ninja reported, "the Third Hokage was killed by Danzo, and Danzo was subsequently killed by Orochimaru. We should retreat immediately to avoid retaliation."

Onoki received similar information. Both leaders came to the same conclusion: staying any longer would only provoke Konoha's wrath. Quietly, both villages withdrew their forces, disappearing from the battlefield.

### The End of the Battle

Sansho Hanzo, who had been watching the chaos unfold, saw his opportunity slipping away. "We're leaving," he ordered his forces. "If we stay, we'll only incur Konoha's hatred. There's no gain in that."

As the remaining factions began to pull back, the battlefield finally began to quiet. But the scars of the conflict—and the loss of Konoha's leader—would linger.

### Aftermath in Konoha

Back at Hiruzen's body, ANBU members stood in solemn silence. 

Orochimaru stepped forward, addressing the gathered forces. "ANBU, secure Lord Hokage's body. The rest of you, follow me. We will finish eliminating the remnants of Root and Sunagakure's forces."

His tone was cold and commanding, leaving no room for argument.

### Roy's Return to Duty

While others mourned or sought vengeance, Roy quietly returned to the medical team. He continued his treatments as if nothing had changed, his expression unreadable. The other medical ninjas hesitated, sensing the weight of the situation, but chose not to question him.

### Chiyo and Ebizo's Retreat

Chiyo realized the danger they faced after Danzo's and Hiruzen's deaths. "We need to leave. Now," she ordered the Sunagakure forces.

But their retreat was blocked by Hatake Sakumo, whose blade gleamed menacingly. "Going somewhere?" he asked coldly.

Ebizo stepped forward, sacrificing himself to cover Chiyo's escape. "Go, sister! Don't let my death be meaningless!" he shouted, his chakra threads manipulating dozens of puppets in a desperate last stand. 

Chiyo hesitated but ultimately fled. Minutes later, Ebizo's puppets fell, and his life faded away.

### Orochimaru Names Minato Acting Hokage

With the battle winding down, Orochimaru approached Namikaze Minato. 

"Minato," Orochimaru said softly but firmly, "the teacher has left Konoha in your hands. I have no objections. As acting Hokage, take control of the situation. The village needs leadership now."

Minato hesitated, but the gravity of the moment left him no choice. "I will do what needs to be done," he said quietly.

Orochimaru nodded and disappeared into the shadows, leaving Minato to take the reins of a fractured village.

The battle was over, but the cost was steep. The deaths of Sarutobi Hiruzen and Danzo marked the end of an era, and the road ahead for Konoha was uncertain. With Uchiha Madara still watching from the sidelines, a new chapter in the ninja world was about to begin.
