Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

The battlefield was a storm of chaos, but Sarutobi Hiruzen had no time to dwell on the larger picture. His focus was entirely on the enraged Danzo, whose relentless attacks left no room for hesitation. 

If Hiruzen didn't deal with Danzo now, the situation would spiral even further out of control. Madara and the brewing inter-village tensions could wait—Danzo was the immediate threat.

### Sarutobi Summons the Ape Demon

With a flash of chakra, Hiruzen summoned his trusted companion. 

"**Psychic Beast: Enma, the Ape Demon!**" 

The imposing figure of the Ape Demon appeared, standing behind Hiruzen with a grim expression. "Sarutobi, it's been a while," Enma grumbled before morphing into the **Vajra Ruyi Stick**, a massive black staff.

"Let's finish this quickly," Hiruzen muttered, swinging the staff to deflect Danzo's kunai and shurikens. 

"Ding ding ding!" The metallic clangs echoed as the projectiles scattered.

"Sarutobi, can you not aim at my indestructible form? Just because I won't be damaged doesn't mean it doesn't hurt!" Enma complained, even as the staff countered Danzo's strikes. 

"Stop whining, Enma. We don't have time for this!" Hiruzen snapped, his focus sharp. Forming a series of hand seals, he activated his shadow clones. 

"**Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet Technique!**" 

"**Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!**" 

"**Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet Technique!**" 

"**Lightning Release: Thunder Strike!**" 

"**Wind Release: Storm Blast!**" 

The combined might of the five elements roared toward Danzo, engulfing him in a storm of destruction.

### Danzo's Counterattack

But as the dust settled, mist began to spread across the battlefield. Hiruzen's heart sank. 

"**Dream-Eating Tapir's Illusion!**" 

Danzo had summoned his nightmarish tapir to manipulate the battlefield, cloaking it in an illusion that muddled friend and foe. 

"**Release!**" Hiruzen barked, dispelling the illusion with a surge of chakra. But his attacks, redirected by the illusion, had inadvertently struck several Konoha ninjas.

"Damn it, Danzo!" Hiruzen snarled, rage flaring. "What do you think you're doing? What is this madness?!"

Danzo's mocking laughter rang out. "Madness? No, Hiruzen, this is what Konoha needs! A strong, unyielding hand—not a weak leader cozying up to the Uchiha clan, turning our village into a playground for your ideals!"

Hiruzen froze. "You're spouting nonsense. Tell me what's really driving you to this insanity!" 

Danzo's eyes burned with fury. "You think I need to hear rumors to know your intentions? You abandoned the Root, Hiruzen. You abandoned me. You abandoned everything I've sacrificed for this village! And now, you're aligning with the Uchiha to cement your legacy. The Will of Fire is a farce!"

### The Fight Intensifies

Danzo unleashed a flurry of Wind Release techniques, his attacks growing more erratic and violent: 

- **Wind Release: Vacuum Sphere!** 

- **Wind Release: Shuriken Storm!** 

The battlefield between them became a whirlwind of destruction. Even as Hiruzen countered with precise swings of the Vajra Ruyi Stick, the ferocity of Danzo's assault forced him into a defensive stance. 

"Danzo," Hiruzen muttered under his breath, "you've truly lost your way."

But Danzo's jealousy and desperation only fueled his determination. In his mind, there was no turning back—he had to eliminate Hiruzen to save Konoha.

### Sarutobi Takes Control

Despite Danzo's fury, his skills could not match Hiruzen's experience and power. Years of training, even as Hokage, had kept Hiruzen sharp. Slowly but surely, Hiruzen gained the upper hand, forcing Danzo into a corner. 

As Danzo attempted another attack, Hiruzen evaded and appeared behind him in a blur of motion. The **kunai** in Hiruzen's hand found its mark, stabbing deep into Danzo's back.

"Enough, Danzo," Hiruzen said coldly. "You're defeated. Tell me why you've turned against me—what madness has driven you to this point?"

Danzo staggered, his body pinned, but his voice was filled with venom. "Why? Because Konoha has grown weak under you. You've turned it into a shadow of its former self, blinded by your ideals. You abandoned the strength that kept us safe, and now you betray even me."

"Danzo…" Hiruzen began, his heart heavy with sorrow. But Danzo wasn't finished.

"Konoha deserves better than you, Hiruzen. You've let it rot from the inside. And if I can't save it… then at least I'll take you with me."

Hiruzen's face hardened, and with a surge of chakra, he infused the kunai in his hand, sending a burst of energy directly into Danzo's heart.

"Goodbye, Danzo."

The light in Danzo's eyes dimmed as he crumpled to the ground.

### The Aftermath

As Hiruzen stood over Danzo's lifeless body, the battlefield around him remained in utter chaos. Konoha's forces were holding their own, but alliances were shifting rapidly. 

Madara, seemingly amused, continued to gather and transport injured ninjas, his actions sowing confusion and unease among all present. 

Reiki, meanwhile, worked tirelessly to stabilize the wounded, his calm presence a stark contrast to the chaos surrounding him. Even Madara couldn't help but smirk as he observed the young medical ninja's unrelenting dedication.

In another corner of the battlefield, Chiyo and Ebizo clashed with Hatake Sakumo, while the Hyuga and other clans coordinated to fend off the endless tide of White Zetsu.

### Hiruzen's Reflection

As Hiruzen looked down at Danzo's body, a wave of exhaustion and regret washed over him. This was not how he had envisioned his leadership. The weight of the Hokage's hat felt heavier than ever.

"Danzo," he murmured, "if only you could have seen that we weren't so different after all. Perhaps we both failed this village in our own ways."

But the battle was far from over, and Hiruzen had no time to dwell on his emotions. He tightened his grip on the Adamantium Stick and prepared to re-enter the fray.

The chaotic battlefield continued to rage, each faction fighting for its own interests, and the fate of the ninja world teetered on the edge of uncertainty.
