Chapter Seventy:

Medea's House

As soon as we arrived at the destination that I wanted to go, I quickly ask for Medea. Medea Maren one of the powerful Witch and chooses to stay here at the Manu Clan even though she originally came from the Edelweiss Clan. Choosing to stay to our clan, is quite a bit intriguing though even if we were close enough, she won't ever tell me the real reason why she left her own clan. But I don't care as long as she will help me and our clan with her power, she is openly welcome to our land.

"Medea!" I quickly called out her attention when I saw her taking care of her garden.

"Prince Kanik," she stops what she was doing. "What can I do for you?"

"Can you help me to use this artifact?" I showed her the artifact and her eyes lift up with surprised.

"The Sphere of Explore. How did you get this?"

"Wafi found it."

"He did?"

"Indeed."

"Then, what are you trying to find?"

"A lady name Liraz. I want to know who she really is and where is she right now?"

Medea looks at me suspiciously. "Do you like her?"

"I don't know but all I know is I want her and I'll do anything just to get her." I honestly answered. "So, will you help me?"

She smiled. "Yes, I can." She spoke. "Let's get inside and find her." she went first and I followed her with full of hope that I could finally found 'Liraz'.

Reinhardt's Residence

I look around the house but I couldn't find Kanik anywhere, I quickly called out a servant and ask her.

"Where is Kanik?"

"He came out with Sir Maury."

"Do you know where they are going?"

"I'm sorry my Prince, he told no one where they were going."

Darn it! What was he thinking?! "Fine. You may leave."

"Yes, my Prince."

"Iman."

"Yes, my Prince."

"Find Kanik." I ordered.

"Yes, my Prince." He left afterwards and then someone suddenly came.

"Prince Kieran, you were here?"

"So, it is true, you really came back home." I turned to meet him. "What is my brother asked you to find for him?" I directly asked him since that I've learned from my source that Wafi brought something for Kanik and I wanted to know what it is. "And don't tell a lie, I already knew he asked you to find something that he will use as soon as possible."

Wafi sighs deeply. "I'm so sorry, but he badly wanted to find someone and I think base on your look he wasn't here."

"Obviously, yes. He went out and I don't know where he went."

"As I remember, he will search for the best Witch or Warlock that could use the artifact."

"That's more informative." I spoke. "Where do you think he went?"

"I am not sure but there is one person that I thought he will go."

"Who?"

Medea's House

"This is surprising," I said after Medea done with her search. "Is this even true?"

"Yes, indeed. That's the truth."

"I still couldn't believe—oh!" suddenly the artifact cracks and with a sudden burst of light it vanished. "What happened?!" I surprisingly asked.

"The moment that artifact used, it will vanish and it will only return once it may need."

"You knew that?"

"Yes."

"Oh, well. We have been able to use the power of the artifact so we don't have to worry about it anymore. All I need to do is proceed to meet her personally."

"Do you want me to come with you?"

"If you want too, then you may come." I said excitedly.

"I will."

When suddenly Maury came in, "what is it?" I asked.

"Your brother was here." He announced.

"And what was he doing here?"

"I don't know but he was with Wafi."

What! Don't tell me. "You stay here." I turned to Medea. "I'll return once I talk to my brother."

"Yes, Prince Kanik."

Outside…

"What are you doing here?"

"What have you done?" he directly asked me.

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't you try to deny it you already have the Sphere of Explore. What are you trying to find?"

"Oh, well since you already knew I won't go around the bush. I was looking for Liraz."

"What for?"

"I'm interested with her."

"You're interested in a human?"

"Well, yes. And there's no problem with it."

"Or maybe you just wanted to know why did Duke Haimon choose a woman like her, right?"

I sigh. "The truth, I was the first one to meet her and ever since then I couldn't get her off my mind. But then he came in to picture and suddenly snatches away the woman that I wanted to have. So, do you really think that I will just let them be? Of course not! I won't let them! That is why you don't have to stop me because I won't let Duke Haimon take what is originally mine." I firmly stated.

Night…

Reinhardt's Residence

"What happened to the artifact?" Wafi asked me that night.

"It vanished."

"Did you use it properly?" he curiously asked.

"Yes, and you know what… I became even more interested in seeing Liraz now."

"What did you find out?"

I look at him intently. "I won't tell you any lie because you are my best friend."

"So, did you tell your brother a lie?"

"Yes of course! I struggled to find out the truth so it was up to him to find a way to find out the truth." I honestly replied.

Wafi deeply sighs. "Alright then, what did you found out?"

"I found it more interesting." I meaningfully replied.

Meanwhile…

"Iman, try to find out the truth." I ordered.

"What do you mean?"

I walk through the window before I answered. "I know my brother too well, and what he just said earlier, I knew he was lying. So go and ask Medea at all cause, if she won't tell anything you know what to do."
