Chapter Sixty-Nine:

Downtown

After I've learned about Liraz resigned from her job I try to find her at all means since that I don't know anything about her. Although I saw her at Akand Village that place was suddenly gone out of sight, the Witches and Warlocks surely protected that village as if they were really hiding something so important that no one should know. But I do not care about that place or what was their hiding because all I want is to find Liraz and I already found a new way to find her.

"My friend!" I quickly called out his attention as soon as I saw him taking off the train.

He turned around and smiled as soon as he sees me. "Kanik, I'm glad to see you!"

"I'm glad to see you too, Wafi!" I greeted back and gave him a warm embrace. "I'm so glad that you hear my call." I said afterwards.

"Of course, you're my best friend." He gladly answered. "So, what is it that you want to meet so desperately that I need to find and bring this artifact to you?"

"Well, we will talk about it to my place. So, let's go first and let me know if how you are."

"Alright, let's go first."

Reinhardt's Residence

"So, you wanted to find that lady named 'Liraz'?"

"Yes, that is what I want that is why I ask you to find that artifact to find her as quickly as possible." I said and now we were at my room after we ate lunch and now, I am holding the artifact that I requested him to get.

The Sphere of Explore, it will surely find the person that I was looking for even if that person was been hidden from a powerful one.

"Are you obsessed to this Lady?"

"Kind of." I shrugged off. "I just wanted her to be my mate."

"So, you mean you want her to be like us, right?"

"Yes. I will make her a Vampire."

"Why?" he curiously asked. "To my recollection this is just the first time you've given too much interest to a mere human. What does this woman have to take your interest?"

I think of it but the more I think the more I want to get her to know what took my interest in her. "That is what I have to find out."

Meinir's Residence

"You finally came back, Wafi."

"Uncle Lucius," I hug him. "I'm so glad to finally back."

Lucius Meinir cousin of King Harkan, he is a Duke and lives at Meinir Residence ever since his cousin, already sat at the throne. He knows the truth of the history and he knows that they alter the truth just to prevent the coming back of the destruction.

"So, how are you?" he asked afterwards.

"I am more thrilled than before." I honestly replied. "So, how's my father?"

"He still looks the same." He looks at me. "Why you're asking? If you can just visit him after we talk."

"I can't. He is still mad at me."

"That's absorbed, it's been five years and I think your father already forgiven you."

"I don't know." I sighed. "Anyway, I came right here straight after I talk to Kanik."

"He has the artifact he needs, right Wafi?" suddenly Sai came out of the blue.

"It's been a while since I see you, Lady Sai." I greeted her with a smile.

"Too formal. Just call me Sai as you used to do." she said and walks to take a sit.

"Alright, Sai." I said with a smile. "Anyway, why did you agree for me to give that artifact to him?"

"Because that is their destiny," Lucius answered. "We cannot prevent things to happen mostly now that King Harkan already allowed their relationship, things will soon happen."

"That can't be!" I refused and stand up. "What if 'he' came back? And this time they won't succeed? It will put as all in danger!"

"We know." Lucius answered but I couldn't help but to feel worry that made me to walk back and forth.

"Will you stop walking? I hate it!" Sai irritably said as she watches me walked back and forth.

"What are we going to do?" I finally asked after a long hour of walking. "I can no longer stay by his side if I will--"

"Stop it will you?!" She said and heavily sighs. "He's still you friend so please, calm down. And besides, you won't be around here."

"Yes, I know." I replied as I take a deep breath. "Anyway, we should at least ready ourselves. Soon, Lady Siara will be gone. So, we need to be ready."

I look at her. "Are you sure it will work?" it was Lucius asked that question.

"Of course, it will. My visions of the future tell me it is the right thing to do." She seriously answered. "And all we need to do is fulfill that without any delay."

I blow an air as I walk at the window. "Alright, if that is the only way… then, I'll be the traitor."

"Are you alright with that?" Lucius seriously asked me.

"Yes. This is the least I can do."

Reinhardt's Residence

Next day…

"Mau, have you seen Wafi?"

"He went for a walk and I think he wanted to visit his father."

"Alright," I nodded. "Let me know once he came back."

"Yes, I will."

He answered and I went back to my room only to look at the Sphere of Explore, though I already holding it I still don't know how to use it. The reason why I need Wafi to help me to use this thing but it seems he will take long before he will come back so I should need to find someone to help me.

I took the artifact and went out of my room in a hurry.

"Where are you going, Sir Kanik?" Maury asked as soon as he saw me.

"Take out the carriage, we are going somewhere." I replied.
