Mi Marido Misterioso (My Mysterious Husband)

Chapter 62: Knowing About My Real Mother

Chapter Sixty-Two:

Manu Palace

Night…

That night no one in the palace would assume Prince Kieran's visit. When King Harkan learned about his coming, he immediately called out Wei to inform his daughter to be careful and not to go out outside her room for a while.

"Good evening, my Sire." Kieran greeted as he came in front of his throne.

"Good evening, Prince Kieran." I greeted back. "I was surprised at your sudden visit."

"I'm sorry for surprising you, my Sire." He replied. "But I have something important to ask of you."

"And what is it?"

"Something important," he seriously answered.

"Tell me."

"It is about your sister, Princess Liraz."

When he mentioned the name of my only sister, I had a bad hunch of what he might ask but I keep my calm and asked him. "She's long gone." I spoke. "But what do you want to ask about her?" I asked anyway.

"I'm really sorry for bringing this up but, I found out that there was a woman working at downtown named after the princess."

"It may just be a coincidence that her name was the same with my sister and there is nothing wrong with that. I am fine with it."

"I know there is nothing wrong with that but the thing is, I found out that she was supposed to be Duke Haimon's constant companion. So, it's just really weird that the woman he always visits at downtown has the same name of the Princess." What does he want to mean? I asked myself as I keep my calm. "But anyway, I don't think that means anything, is that right my Sire?" he suddenly added.

"Indeed, you were right." I agreed as I secretly sigh heavily. "And whoever the woman Duke Haimon always visited, I'm sure she was just a simple person who happened to be the same name of my sister's name." I said as I try my heart not to beat abnormal so that Kieran won't notice a thing.

Afterwards…

As soon as Kieran left the palace, the King quickly walk to Siara's room and without a warning, he went in to her room.

"Father, what are you doing here?" I surprisingly asked him as soon as he came in with a hurry.

"We need to seriously talk, Siara."

"I have no time for that."

"Siara!" his voice was loud and clear but still calm and I already knew there is something wrong, I could even hear his heart beating so fast and it worries me.

"What is it?" I seriously asked.

"Why did you use the name Liraz?"

"Because she is my mother," I simply answered and it took him long before he takes a breath and answered.

"Do you know what you did?"

"I do and I know the consequences it will bring me." I seriously replied because ever since I grow older, I've had a lot of questions. Who my mother is, I always asked him but my father tells me nothing about his wife. That result me to find another way to find out about my mother. Especially when he left me away from him, I was even more anxious to find out who my mother really was. And when I got the chance, I found out about his sister, Liraz.

The one and only sister of my father who died a long time ago when my father was still a crown Prince. I try to find out the truth about his sister and I found out about a little information about her though it is enough for me to know the truth. That Liraz is my real mother and I quickly confront my father back then. With my eagerness, I finally found out the truth out from my father. He told me everything about the reason why he needs to hide me from everyone.

I'm the daughter of my mother to a man who has no intention of marrying my mother or even intend to accept their child. And because their family had a reputation, she had to hide her pregnancy. While my father, Harkan, was already the crown Prince of the Manu Clan and soon he will be the King of our Clan. And to protect his throne, they had to make up a story of how I could be introduced into their Clan without any problem.

Which in turn did his father's way so she grew up and became known as King Harkan's daughter but still hid her from everyone. Because the story everyone knows is that she was the daughter of a normal woman and she only lived because of the blood his father gave to his mother before her death just to save her in her mother's womb. Though I know the whole story, I still want some prove about the 'mother' that my father telling, I even asked him where she buried after her death because my father told me. As soon as she became a Vampire, she changes, became greedy and merciless and that tarnished his father's image as a King. The reason why, my father decided to end her life but still I couldn't accept that she just died without any information about her that made me decide to found the truth. Everything finally clears and yet I feel that there is still something I need to know it was about my real father. But the fear and apprehension I feel prevents me from knowing the whole truth about my father. That made me decides not to find him and just forget about him.

"You! Don't you know, because you use your mother's name, there was more interest for Prince Kieran to know about you!"

"Because I'm dating Haimon, am I right?"

"That's right! So, I order you, to stop seeing him! Because you are not the only one who will be in danger it will also put Haimon in danger! So, while it's still early, stop meeting him and stop going to work! And that's my final decision! Do as I say!"
