Chapter 61: The Truth about the Name 'Liraz'
Chapter Sixty-One:
Quick steps could be heard from the hallway of the palace. And when the woman in a hurry arrived at the place she was heading, she immediately opened the door of the room.
"My Prince!"
The Prince immediately stands up from the chair and said. "Where is she?"
"She's at Kaitsja Town right now, my Sire."
"Alright, Damond let's go." he said and went as soon as Damond answered and followed him out of their house.
Kaitsja Town
"I need to go out of this place now!"
"Please my Lady, calm down first."
"How can I calm down? If my husband was there and in danger! I can't just calm down!"
"But you need to protect your baby." She answered. "Remember, your husband tells you never to leave your child. So please my lady calm down."
"But…" she looks back to her child and her tears can't stop as soon as she sees their child. "What should I do now?" she asked herself instead as she get lost from her thoughts to do.
"Liraz!" suddenly the door burst open and a man came in that surprised her from seeing.
"Wh-what are you doing here, Harkan?"
"I came here for you and…" he stopped when he suddenly heard the child crying. "Is that… your child?"
"Oh, God!" she immediately run through him and kneeled in front of him. "Please, help us brother! You're my only hope so please help us! I beg you!"
Present…
Deep into the Mountains
I look at her intently and I still couldn't decide if I will let her go or should I take her home with me instead. But what my Uncle told us we need to do the right thing and yet I don't know what we should really do right.
I'm beginning to lose my mind and I don't want to be part from her anymore. I just want to be with her all the time even though it will conflict our families and our clans.
"What are you thinking?"
Siara suddenly breaks my thinking. "So-sorry. What are you saying again?"
"Well, I was talking about—oh, forget it! Really? What are you thinking?" she intently asked as she looks at me seriously.
I gave up a heavy sigh. "I'm thinking of bringing you home with me," I honestly answered.
What I said surprised her and it took her minutes before she could answer. "I want to go home with you too." she sincerely answered.
"That is not possible." Suddenly Melite spoke to us. "You know your father, Siara. So, I don't think he will just let you go with him."
"He could do nothing because he knew I love Haimon so much I will do anything just to be with him." she justified.
"And I love her too." I quickly answered. "And I could prove my love for her."
"We are not talking here about how much you love each other because we are talking here about the lineages you come from. The clash of your clans to be exact." She said and she was right, the Edelweiss and the Manu Clans won't live in peace forever.
"If only we could escape the truth, we would be free." Siara answered that made me look at her.
"But you cannot." Melite answered that made us all fall into silence.
Reinhardt's Residence
"I have good news for you, my Prince."
I took off my eyes out of the documents I am reading and look up to meet Iman. "What is it?"
"I already got information about Liraz."
That's interesting, I said to myself. "And what is it?"
"I found out that the Liraz that Duke Haimon dating wasn't the real Liraz."
"What?" my eyes shrink with curiosity. "She's not real?"
"Yes, my Prince. As what you heard, she's not the real Liraz."
"Then who was she then, and who was Liraz?"
"You'll be surprised once you heard it."
"Then tell me, who is she?"
"The one that Duke Haimon dating has no information at all but the name Liraz, I found where she came from. She is the younger sister of King Harkan, Liraz Meinir."
What he said really surprised me that made me to stand up with so much in my mind. "The one that you were talking was the Princess Liraz Meinir?"
"Yes, my Prince."
"Oh!" I replied and I couldn't help but not to smile as soon as I heard it and then maybe. "I want to see our King!" I suddenly decided.
"Alright, my Prince. I bring you there."
Meanwhile…
So, you have some lead to start. I said to myself as I ended listening to my brother's talking with Iman.
"Do you think it would be fine if you spy on with your brother?" Maury asked.
"Of course, it won't but what should I do, this is the only way I can find some clue. And I got myself some interesting information." I said as I thought of the name 'Liraz Meinir'. "And hearing that, I wanted to meet the lady at the flower shop," I added.
"Who? Liraz?"
"Yes, indeed. I want to meet her and let us see who was the girl that Duke Haimon dating with."
Mana Palace
Even though I don't want to take Siara home, I can't do anything but take her anyway. It's also for her sake because I don't want her to have a problem with her father. Yet, I couldn't let her hand go just like that.
"I'm fine." Suddenly Siara disturb my thinking and I look at her. "Let go of my hand now."
I look down to see our hands still intact. "I can't." I honestly replied. "If only we can be free to be together. If only we didn't born from different clans maybe--"
"Just maybe." She cuts me off. "But," she holds my both hands and looks me in the eyes. "We cannot simply avoid the truth. This is our destiny even though we don't like it or not we live in this moment." she seriously stated.
