"Tsk tsk... What an exciting match right from the start," Kaminari Denki smirked.

The first battle drew a lot of interest. Everyone was eager to see how strong the recommended students really were.

"Alright, everyone else, head to the monitoring room!" All Might instructed, then turned his gaze toward Ezaki Kitazawa.

"The student Aizawa praised so highly... I've been curious about your abilities," All Might murmured quietly before speaking aloud.

"The villain team, prepare inside. In five minutes, the hero team will infiltrate, and the battle will officially begin."

After giving the final instructions, All Might quickly headed to the monitoring room.

**Outside:**

Bakugo Katsuki and Todoroki Shoto had already gone inside to prepare, leaving only Ezaki Kitazawa and Kirishima Eijiro outside.

"This is my first time doing this kind of training. It's pretty exciting, don't you think, Ezaki Kitazawa?" Kirishima Eijiro asked.

"Me? It's alright," Ezaki Kitazawa replied calmly.

While the hero team seemed fine, things weren't going as smoothly on the villain team's side.

"You stay here and guard the nuclear weapon! I'll handle those two!" Bakugo Katsuki declared with a grin.

"No... it's better if I go. You should stay and guard the weapon. You can't handle Ezaki," Todoroki Shoto stated confidently.

"What? What did you just say?" 

Hearing someone say he wasn't good enough instantly triggered Bakugo's temper. He stormed over and grabbed Todoroki by the collar.

Todoroki stared at him and calmly said: 

"Maybe... even if the two of us team up, we still might not be able to beat him." 

"Hmph!" 

Bakugo let go of his grip, his face stiff, biting his lip in frustration, and said nothing more. 

At that moment, a voice suddenly came through the speakers: 

"The indoor combat training between Team C and Team E... starts now!" 

"Alright, the sooner we finish, the sooner we can rest!" Ezaki said before leaping through the window. 

Kirishima quickly followed behind. 

U.A. had truly invested heavily — the training field was enormous, complete with various simulated buildings. 

They had only walked a few steps when heavy footsteps echoed through the corridor. 

Ezaki and Kirishima immediately stopped. The next second, Bakugo and Todoroki emerged from around the corner. 

"What's going on? Why are both of them down here? Aren't they afraid we'll sneak off and retrieve the nuke?" Kirishima Eijiro said seriously. 

"If both of them are down here, it means they won't let us go up... unless we can take them both down," Ezaki Kitazawa replied calmly. 

"This... this is too reckless!" Kirishima Eijiro frowned. 

"Who cares about winning something like that!" Bakugo Katsuki sneered. 

"Kind of surprising... I didn't expect those two to team up," Ezaki Kitazawa said with a smile, looking at them. 

"Who teamed up with this half-faced guy? I just didn't want to follow his orders!" Bakugo Katsuki immediately retorted. 

Todoroki Shoto stayed silent as cold air began to swirl around his hand. He pressed it against the wall, and within seconds, ice spread rapidly, covering the entire building. 

"They're coming!" 

Ezaki Kitazawa's body ignited in purple flames. 

Kirishima Eijiro wasn't as lucky — his feet were instantly frozen in place. 

 Ezaki Kitazawa stomped, sending purple flames surging outward, precisely melting the ice trapping Kirishima Eijiro's feet. 

"Thanks a lot!" Kirishima Eijiro said gratefully. 

Seeing Todoroki Shoto launch an attack, Bakugo Katsuki couldn't stay idle. He charged straight at Ezaki Kitazawa, sparks crackling from his palms. 

Just as Kirishima Eijiro was about to step in, Ezaki Kitazawa held him back. 

"You go retrieve the nuke. Leave these two to me!" 

"Huh? Can you handle them?" Kirishima Eijiro asked, concerned. 

Ezaki Kitazawa smiled confidently. 

"Don't worry. I think I've got this." 

"Alright!" Kirishima Eijiro nodded and turned to run back. 

"You idiot! Don't look down on me!" 

Bakugo Katsuki's veins bulged in anger after hearing Ezaki Kitazawa's words. 

"Die!" 

Bakugo Katsuki thrust his palm forward. Ezaki Kitazawa swiftly tilted his body, dodging the attack. 

"Booom!" 

A surge of explosive force erupted from Bakugo Katsuki's palm, sending thick black smoke billowing. 

"Move!" 

Todoroki Shoto shouted, sending a wave of ice shards crashing like a tide.
