"Everyone, look over here!" 

All Might struck a dramatic pose, pointing toward the right side of the classroom.

As he spoke, numbered cases popped out of the wall, clearly containing customized combat suits made just for them.

"Once you've changed, head to Training Ground B!" 

After giving the instructions, All Might left. 

Many students had unique combat suits, some designed specifically to cover their Quirk weaknesses. 

Ezaki Kitazawa's outfit, however, was simple—a black, fitted bodysuit with a loose black jacket over it.

Before long, everyone gathered at the training ground.

"Alright, everyone, it's time for combat training. Although most of the battles we see happen outdoors, statistics show that the likelihood of encountering dangerous villains indoors is much higher!" 

"Imprisonment, confinement, underground deals... in this hero-filled society, truly cunning villains lurk in the shadows."

"You will now be divided into villain teams and hero teams, participating in 2-on-2 indoor battles," All Might explained steadily.

"Don't we need basic training first?" Tsuyu Asui asked.

"This exercise is meant to assess your basics through practice. However, unlike before, you won't be facing simple training robots," All Might replied.

"What's the win/loss condition?" Yaoyorozu Momo asked.

"Good question. The scenario is that the villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their base. The heroes must neutralize the threat by either capturing the villains or retrieving the weapon within a set time." 

"The villains, on the other hand, must protect the weapon or capture the heroes before time runs out. As for team assignments, they'll be decided by drawing lots." 

With that, All Might pulled out a yellow box.

"Understood!" the students responded.

"Alright, don't waste time. Draw your lots!" All Might urged.

After drawing, Ezaki Kitazawa slowly opened his paper slip. Inside was a bold letter C.

"Who's in Group C?" Ezaki Kitazawa asked.

"Huh? You're Group C?"

Kirishima Eijiro walked up to Ezaki Kitazawa, checked his slip, and exclaimed excitedly, "Then we're teammates! Nice to meet you—I'm Kirishima Eijiro!"

"Emmm? I'm Ezaki Kitazawa," Ezaki replied politely.

"I know! Aizawa-sensei mentioned you. I heard you got into U.A. as the top recommended student. That's amazing!" Kirishima said, clearly impressed.

"I just got lucky," Ezaki Kitazawa responded with a modest smile.

"The recommended student test must've been really tough, right?" Kirishima asked curiously.

"Well, strictly speaking, it's easier than your entrance exam," Ezaki Kitazawa replied.

This wasn't surprising. After all, students admitted through recommendations already had proven skills, so the test difficulty was lower. However, the competition was much tougher since there were only four recommendation slots available.

What was interesting was that Bakugo Katsuki ended up paired with Todoroki Shoto. Ezaki Kitazawa couldn't help but wonder if sparks would fly between them.

Soon, everyone found their teammates.

All Might brought out two more boxes, one white and one black. He reached into them and began drawing lots.

"So, the first battle will be between these two teams," All Might announced while pulling out the drawn balls: Team C and Team E.

"Team C will be the heroes, and Team E will be the villains!"

"Who's Team E?" Ezaki Kitazawa muttered while scanning the crowd. Suddenly, two intense, hungry gazes locked onto him.

"Hmm??? Team C? This is perfect!" Bakugo Katsuki grinned fiercely at Ezaki Kitazawa.

"I didn't expect to face him under these circumstances... but it doesn't matter," Todoroki Shoto thought to himself.

Ezaki Kitazawa withdrew his gaze, his expression turning serious.

"Our opponents are Bakugo and that quiet guy. Do you think we can handle them?" Kirishima Eijiro whispered.

"Handle them? I think we can!" Ezaki Kitazawa smiled at Kirishima Eijiro.

"This match is going to be interesting—recommendation student number one versus the top-scoring regular applicant," Jiro Kyoka remarked softly.

"Indeed. The second-ranked recommendation student is also here," Yaoyorozu Momo added.
