Chapter 731 - Veil of Tenebrous
[(Unique-grade) Focalor's Mark Amulet]
[(Legendary-grade) Abyssborne Cuffs]
[(Unique-grade) Ring of Abyssal Tides]
[(Legendary-grade) Eternal Bulwark]
[(Legendary-grade) Veil of Tenebrous]
[Infernal Mirage (Weapon Cosmetic)]
Broken carefully analyzed each item laid out before him. His gaze swept over the six pieces of loot, and for a moment, he paused in thought. Out of the six items, three of them were Legendary-grade, two were Unique-grade, and the last was a cosmetic item.
Considering this was the drop from a Named Demon ranked as high as Focalor, the results were extraordinary. Getting Legendary-grade items wasn't unheard of, but obtaining three at once? That was far from common. Even with the high difficulty of the battle, this level of reward still felt excessive.
"Is this because of the blessing from your Divine Champion status?" Alora asked, her gaze moving to the items on the table. "Three Legendary-grade items… that's not normal."
"Yes," Broken replied with a nod. "It's because of a skill called Bountiful Harvest. It gives me some kind of bonus drop from anything I kill."
Alora tilted her head slightly. "You're certainly special, aren't you? To possess blessings that almost rival those of the late King Elandorr."
Broken chuckled softly. "I think so too. Especially since Goddess Akidia gave me Self-Transcendence, one of her highest blessings."
Alora's lips curved into a small smile. "That's the core blessing of the Sloth Champion, isn't it?"
Broken glanced at her with a playful smirk. "Maybe the Goddess was too lazy to find five different Champions, so she just gave everything to me instead?"
Alora giggled at his remark. "But don't worry. The Goddess didn't make a mistake in choosing you."
They continued analyzing each item, carefully considering who would benefit most from each piece of gear.
"I'm certain Bloom will be a perfect fit for this one."
[(Unique-grade) Ring of Abyssal Tides]

[Tideflow Aura – Every time a healing skill is cast, restores 5% HP to all nearby allies over 5 seconds.]
"With this ring, Bloom's support role will be enhanced," Broken explained, turning the ring in his hand. "It'll allow her to sustain the team more effectively in prolonged battles."
Alora watched him for a moment before speaking softly. "Broken…"
He lifted his head, meeting her gaze. "Yes?"
"Bloom is your sister out there, right?"
"Yes… she is."
A warm smile spread across her face. "She's so cute. I saw her during the battle. Next time, I want to meet her properly."
"Of course," Broken replied. "I'm sure she'll be thrilled to meet her sister-in-law — especially a queen like you."
"I'll try to live up to her expectations."
Next, they picked up another item.
[(Legendary-grade) Eternal Bulwark]
[Effect: +50% Block Rate, +20% Damage Reduction.]
[Skill 1: Abyssal Wall – Creates an impenetrable barrier for 10 seconds, absorbing all incoming damage.]
[Skill 2: Guardian's Vow – Grants a 30% damage reduction aura to all allies within 10 meters for 15 seconds.]
[Skill 3: Reflective Shell – Reflects 20% of all blocked damage back to the attacker for 8 seconds.]
"A Legendary-grade shield," Broken murmured as he examined it closely. "Ivana will definitely be able to put this to good use."
Alora nodded in agreement.
But then, Broken frowned slightly. "Wait… doesn't she fight without a shield in her Half-Dragon form? Maybe she doesn't need one anymore?"
Alora shook her head gently. "No, I think a shield will still suit Ivana's fighting style. She's used to wielding one, isn't she? And besides, this is a Legendary-grade shield. I'm sure she'll find a way to make the most of it."
Broken thought about it for a moment before nodding. Alora was right. After all, when he considered the people around him, there weren't many shield users left. The only other one was Skywarden — and he'd already received a Legendary-grade shield from the previous battle.
Looking at the bigger picture, Broken realized how fortunate they'd been. His team had acquired some truly exceptional loot from the fight, especially considering that they had managed to take down four other Named Demons besides Focalor.
Not to mention the sheer number of high-level demons they had slain during the war.
With such a haul, it was clear this battle would mark a turning point for everyone involved.
[(Legendary-grade) Abyssborne Cuffs]
[Type: Accessory (Bracelets)]
[Effect 1: +10% Attack Speed.]
[Effect 2: +20% Critical Damage.]
[Passive: Stormbreaker – On critical hits, unleash a minor lightning strike that deals AoE damage in a 5-meter radius.]
Broken picked up the bracelet from the table. It was clearly designed for a close-range fighter who specialized in rapid attacks. There was no doubt in his mind who it would be perfect for.
"Grill," he said, turning the bracelet in his hand. "She has multiple swords she can control to strike her enemies. With her high attack volume, this item will be perfect for her."
"The Lust Champion, right?"
"Yes," Broken confirmed. "The one who boosted my level so significantly that I was able to put up more of a fight in battle."
Alora added thoughtfully, "With this bracelet, Grill will be able to hunt more efficiently. That'll help her level up faster, which will benefit both you and Bloom in the long run."
Broken agreed without hesitation. It made perfect sense. Anything that strengthened Grill would ultimately strengthen their entire team.
[(Unique-grade) Focalor's Mark Amulet]
[Type: Amulet]
[Effect 1: +20% Mana Regeneration.]
[Effect 2: Increases Elemental Magic Skill Damage by 5%.]
[Skill: Focused Storm – Reduces cooldowns for single-target spells by 20%.]
Broken picked up the item and held it out toward Alora with a gentle smile. "I'm sure this one will be perfect for you."
Alora tilted her head slightly. "But, Broken, I'm not a spell caster. This item would be better suited for a Mage."
"You're a Magic Sword Fighter," Broken reminded her. "That makes you a half spell caster. Besides, this item reduces the cooldown for single-target spells, which wouldn't be as effective for Mages since most of their skills are AoE."
"You always find a way to make things sound reasonable."
Without a word, Broken leaned closer and gently placed the item around her neck. Alora leaned in slightly.
Once the item was secured, the pendant glowed faintly against her skin.
"Good?" she asked.
Broken squinted, tilting his head as if evaluating. "It looks… a little odd. Maybe you should just wear it during battles."
Alora grinned, clearly amused. "Agreed. I wouldn't want to distract you too much."
Broken chuckled, shaking his head. "You already do."
[(Legendary-grade) Veil of Tenebrous]
Two items remained on the table. Without hesitation, Broken reached for the black cloak — or rather, a cape. It wasn't overly elaborate, just a simple, dark piece of gear that looked more practical than flashy. The fabric had a subtle sheen, and it was tethered, designed to rest comfortably on the wearer's shoulders.

[User Restriction: Affinity with Shadow Element]
Broken draped the cloak over his shoulders. The dark fabric settled around him effortlessly, as if it was made to complement his presence.
He imagined himself in his Demon Form, wearing this cloak — how it would flow behind him as he used its abilities to teleport away, leaving behind shadow clones to confuse his enemies. It fit his style perfectly.
Before he could adjust it further, Alora stepped closer and straightened the collar for him, her fingers brushing lightly against his neck.
"You're probably imagining yourself using your Demon identity to pull off some… questionable tricks, aren't you?" she teased, a playful smirk on her lips.
Broken gave her an amused look. "Do you really think so little of your husband, Alora?"
She let out a soft laugh. "More like, I know you well enough to guess what you're thinking. Especially after hearing all the stories about what you did in Hell, right?"
"Well," Broken said with a small shrug, "I'm not denying it."
"Then this item will be perfect for you. Especially with the teleportation ability — it'll help you escape in unfavorable situations."
"That's exactly what I was thinking," Broken agreed. "Retreat and live to fight another day."
She gave him a knowing look. "Just don't forget to come back when you retreat. I'll be waiting."
Broken smiled warmly at her words.
