JoJo's bizarre adventure: Phantom legacy

Chapter 5: The Art of Stealth

"VRA-DA"

"I know I look ridiculous, but this is the best I could put together within three hours," Ethan muttered, standing on the rooftop.

He was dressed in a black Oni mask, a utility belt, and the distinctive black tactical suit of Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe.

Thanks to GateKeeper and the fact that he used to explore the world with his parents, getting everything he needed had been easier than expected.

Ethan sighed as he looked at his attire and said:

"Going to other countries for mere clothes and spending thousands of dollars for tools is a waste...ED open the door"

Ethereal Divergence used GateKeeper, opening a door leading to the property manager's rooftop.

Ethan wasted no time, stepping through quickly and appearing on the other side.

He crouched low, moving carefully across the rooftop of the villa, His eyes scanned the surroundings until he spotted a balcony on the third floor

A security camera was mounted near it, observing the space below.

But something was off, the red LED light wasn't blinking as it had been when he'd scouted earlier.

"The cameras are off?.. what are these people hiding" Ethan murmured, his suspicion growing.

Summoning GateKeeper, he conjured a glowing door.

Without hesitation, he stepped through and reappeared silently on the third-floor balcony, his movements swift and precise.

He noticed a sliding door and peeked through it.

He spotted a bathroom inside but the door was locked, However that didn't stop him as he immediately used Gatekeeper and appeared inside.

'What the hell...is this a s*x dungeon'

Ethan looked around the bathroom and noticed that there were weird toys such as whips of different sizes , chains of different variations...it was freaky.

"The bulls will win this weekend but The Cheddars might take the championship"

Ethan approached the bathroom door and peered through the keyhole, noticing an empty, dimly lit bedroom beyond.

Activating GateKeeper, he immediately appeared beside the bed.

'No motion sensors... for a property manager, her security is surprisingly weak.'

He moved quietly around the bedroom, the low light making it difficult to see.

Reaching into his utility belt, he pulled out a small flashlight and clicked it on.

After a few minutes of searching and listening to the footsteps of patrolling guards, the noise outside fell silent.

Sensing an opportunity, Ethan began rifling through the drawers, looking for anything that might provide useful information.

Drip Drip Drip!!!

Ethan froze, the faint sound cutting through the quiet room.

'What the hell is that?'

Ethan froze, his actions halted by an uneasy sensation.

He noticed a faint shine on the left shoulder of his suit, the dim light reflecting off its surface, Slowly he reached up with his fingers to touch it.

The texture was unmistakably slick and warm...saliva.

Ethan slowly turned, his heart pounding as he directed his gaze upward, his flashlight illuminated the ceiling, and that's when he saw it.

A figure with glowing, piercing eyes clung to the ceiling, its limbs twisted unnaturally, Its head was bent backward at an impossible angle, staring directly at him.

Before Ethan could react, the figure launched itself from the ceiling, crossing the space in an instant and appearing right in front of his face.

"VRA-DA!"

Ethereal Divergence immediately emerged, its fist connecting with the figure in a devastating punch.

The sheer force created a sonic boom, sending the figure flying and crashing into the bedroom wall.

The wall cracked and crumbled, revealing a hidden hallway behind it.

Ethan quickly approached the figure, As he neared, he sniffed the air and muttered:

"What is that repulsive smell? It's like rotten flesh... what the hell is going on?"

The figure slowly began to rise, its jaw missing as if it felt no pain.

Without hesitation, Ethereal Divergence unleashed a barrage of fists, each blow hammering into the creature.

In seconds, the figure's body was riddled with holes, its form resembling Swiss cheese.

"GRAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!"

The creature let out a monstrous cry, and in that instant, Ethan knew, by instinct he realized it was a.. zombie.

Rumble!!!!

Ethan heard countless foots approaching and within minutes countless zombies emerged from the stairs of the second floor surrounded Ethan and began to shoot immediately.

"VRA-DA"

Ethereal Divergence began to catch and deflect the bullets, redirecting them toward the zombies to protect Ethan.

Each zombie was armed with a 416 Barrett rifle, firing bullets that traveled at 960 m/s, making them 2.8 times faster than the speed of sound.

Yet, despite the incredible speed of the bullets, Ethereal Divergence had no trouble catching and deflecting every one, moving effortlessly even while surrounded.

"VRA-DA DA DA DA DA DA"

Ethereal Divergence Roared as it began to release a barrage of punches that continued to deflect bullets while eliminating some of the hoarde, it then released a punch that struck the ground and caused the third floor to collapse.

"ARGGHHHH!!!!" Screamed Ethan as he felt the floor collapse, Ethereal Divergence quickly embraced him as they descended to the second floor.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!

"What the*Cough* heck happened"

Ethereal Divergence released Ethan allowing him to slowly rise from the ground, as the dust cleared up he noticed that all the zombies were immobilized.

"This is... insane," Ethan muttered. "My life got complicated within a single day. First, it was Stands, now it's zombies... what the hell is happening?"

He sighed as he turned around, instead of using Gatekeeper to leave, he froze in place.

"HELL!!! NAH!!!"

He observed the second floor and noticed that there were bodies hanging around pillars that supported the structure of the Villa.

He moved closer and noticed that the bodies were not only cold but they had bite marks around their necks.

The second floor wasn't seperated into rooms or sections rather than that it was a simple open floor meant for display, Ethan also noticed that human skulls were on the walls.

Display cases filled the second floor displaying countless collections of items, the display method was Resin Encapsulation .

Ethan noticed one of the bodies, as he began to approach it and saw the naked form, he whispered, "M... Mrs. Inoue."

The body was cold, but Ethan recognized her face instantly.

The woman in front of him had once been his maid, who had retired a month ago to live in the countryside.

The human body begins to decompose within days, yet her body remained completely intact.

This meant only one thing: she had been frozen and put on for display.

"HOW DARE THEY!!!" Roared Ethan as he clenched his fists and gritted his teeth, he wanted to escape but seeing Mrs Inoue's corpse he began to lose rationality.

Click Click Click!!!

Footsteps of someone wearing stilettos echoed, a silhouette slowly appeared but paused as it noticed the destruction and said:

"My My~... what do we have here"
