God Level Farmer In Another World

Chapter 183: Chapter 182: Reversing the Heavenly Constellation!

Chapter 182: Reversing the Heavenly Constellation!

"Super Fruits?"

The announcement mentioned that the guild possesses Super Fruits and the Vine of Ascension—two extraordinary supernatural plants capable of granting new talents to humans!

Mark suddenly understood. So, James had become so powerful because he consumed a Super Fruit? What an unimaginable thing!

Mark's eyes lit up. "Alexander, am I really just a sub-guild leader managing one person? That's fine, but how about giving me a few Super Fruits? Or even a Vine of Ascension!"

Even the weakest Vine of Ascension could grant someone a new talent. Who wouldn't want to be a dual-talent genius?

Alexander shook his head. "Humans can awaken at most four talents. A Vine of Ascension isn't necessary."

Mark's eyes gleamed brighter. "Then… can I at least try two Super Fruits to see how they taste?"

Alexander shook his head again. "No. The current Super Fruits don't suit you. I'll find a stronger one for you, something that will make you an unrivaled powerhouse after eating it."

When Alexander first said no, Mark felt a pang of disappointment, but hearing the latter part, his face lit up with joy.

Alexander continued, "James is very powerful now, even stronger than Uncle Carl. With his assistance, you'll have a solid ally."

Mark slapped James on the chest with a grin. "I knew it! I had a hunch it was you. No wonder your voice sounds so much like a woman's! But hey, these pecs of yours are a bit over the top. Almost fooled me!"

After speaking, Mark's expression froze. His hand reflexively squeezed. The sensation was magical... and captivating.

James's face turned awkward, a blush rising as he pushed Mark's hand away.

Mark stood there stunned for ten whole seconds before slowly turning to Alexander with a smile more bitter than tears. "Alexander... Does eating a Super Fruit… uh… cause you to… self-castrate? Turn into a woman?"

James's face grew increasingly uncomfortable. He turned away and said, "It's my choice. To keep Uncle Carl from recognizing my identity, I used the guild leader's power to turn myself into a woman."

"Otherwise, with Uncle Carl's perceptive eyes, he would instantly see through my disguise."

James glanced cautiously at Alexander. "The guild leader said it's a rule not to reveal the identity behind the mask."

Mark sighed in relief. "Good. That's good."

"It's true; the Hunter Guild's announcements do mention that rule."

Alexander glanced at the faintly brightening sky outside and muttered, "Quite a busy day. I didn't expect to finish the mission so quickly. It's time to head back."

Mark was startled. "Huh? You're leaving already? Not staying for a few days?"

Alexander chuckled. "What's there to do in White Mountain City? I'll send supplies once I'm back. Someone will explain their uses to you."

"Fix up White Mountain City properly. I'll also send some Super Fruits and Vines of Ascension. Distribute them among your trusted subordinates."

"Be sure to register which hunters receive the Super Fruits and what talents they gain from them."

Mark straightened up and replied earnestly, "Understood!"

White Mountain City was in dire need of supplies, but the nation wouldn't allocate resources from other cities.

White Mountain City was an ordinary place, and the country wouldn't cross the wilderness to deliver supplies. That would consume enormous manpower and resources.

Alexander finished speaking, and ripples appeared in the space behind him.

A pitch-black gate materialized, and a masked figure stepped out, bowing respectfully to Alexander.

Alexander stood up and glanced back at James. "Without my permission, you're not allowed to leave White Mountain City."

"If I ever find out you left without authorization, the consequences will be more severe than you can imagine."

Alexander left this warning because he feared Mark might be unable to control James after he departed.

Of course, if James did leave White Mountain City or disobeyed orders, Alexander would immediately use the Heavenly Flame of Creation to incinerate him.

James quickly declared his loyalty. "I won't. You gave me a new life. I won't leave White Mountain City, and I'll follow Captain Ruffelo's orders."

Alexander nodded and stepped through the gate, disappearing into the void.

Mark glanced at James's prominent chest. "Does this mean as the sub-guild leader, whatever I say, you'll obey?"

James instinctively stepped back two steps, clutching his chest. "Captain Ruffelo, you know, I'm a man."

Mark frowned, clearly dissatisfied. "You're such a buzzkill! My first order for you is this: you're not allowed to change back. Having a beautiful subordinate is my dream!"

James opened his mouth to say something but couldn't find the words. In the end, he simply replied with a quiet, "Okay."

Mark couldn't resist running his hand through James's wavy, long hair. "What an incredible ability. This hair feels so real!"

With a sly grin, he added, "With someone as skilled as you in White Mountain City, we don't have to worry about monsters attacking the city anymore."

Mark stroked his chin thoughtfully. "I can distribute the Super Fruits and Vines of Ascension to others, turning them into mercenaries—my subordinates. If White Mountain City has more experts, monster sieges will no longer be a threat. Alexander will also be sending supplies soon. I bet there will be some extraordinary plants among them."

He smiled, his face lighting up. "Good days are ahead for White Mountain City. I've got to tell my dad about this right away!"

In Captain Ruffelo's room, he sat in his pajamas, a cigarette between his fingers, his expression grave. "The Mercenary Guild? Mercenaries? Are you saying this supernatural organization intends to help White Mountain City?"

Mark nodded earnestly. "Yes. My classmate Alexander is a member of the Mercenary Guild. His position isn't low either—he has some influence in the guild. And since I'm such an outstanding son, their leaders agreed to let me be the sub-guild leader for White Mountain City."

Captain Ruffelo rubbed the bridge of his nose and sighed. "That's because I'm the head of White Mountain City's Security Bureau. With you as the sub-guild leader, they can more quickly take control of White Mountain City."

The Security Bureau and supernatural organizations were technically at odds according to public order laws. However, Captain Ruffelo didn't care about their nature. If they could help White Mountain City, that was good enough for him.

He chuckled. "Didn't they offer me some minor role in this supernatural organization?"

Mark replied seriously, "Of course they did. At my insistence, they agreed to let you join the Mercenary Guild as a low-level mercenary. That's a favor extended because of me."

Captain Ruffelo paused, disbelief in his eyes. "A low-level mercenary? The absolute lowest rank? Your so-called 'influence' doesn't seem to count for much!"

Mark's expression darkened. "I'm the sub-guild leader, and you're just a low-level mercenary. Are you implying I lack influence? That's a bit much."

Captain Ruffelo raised an eyebrow and lifted his fatherly, mountain-like palm. "Want to say that again?"

Mark squinted and retorted, "Dad, I advise you not to reverse the heavenly constellation!"

Captain Ruffelo was silent for a moment, nodded, and lowered his hand—only to grab a slipper.
