Bound to the devil prince

King Henry stared at princess Abigail before he finally nodded.

"Let's eat then". He said and everyone began to eat. While they were eating, a man walked in wearing a royal clothes. He walked towards where Abigail was sitting and pulled a chair and sat down. His presence made every one to stop eating.

"Welcome Oliver"! Clara greeted with a smile. She doesn't know why but she has a liking towards her step siblings except of course Lucas who is rumored to be a mysterious monster. Ever since she has growing up, she hasn't seen Lucas face to face which was strange, he rarely attend royal family gatherings, even if he attend, the king orders him to wear a mask which was strange, nor join them at the dinning. This was strange and this made her believe the rumor circling her other step brother.

Just as everyone was about to continue having their dinner,they paused feeling icy chills ran down their spines.

Even though the windows were locked to prevent the cold wind from disturbing them, they felt cold Which was strange.

Slowly, but carefully with shoes clicking on the cold marble ground walking majestically as if he was a king towards the dinning. He was very tall with muscular body. He was wearing a mask which hid his face except dark black eyes which fell on the two maids standing in front of dinning room.

The two maids out of fear bowed deeply, even though they have never seen his face except his dark black eyes that could frighten someone.

They paved way for youngest prince of Eldrida to walk inside the dinning room.

Once he entered, the maids stand still as they felt their hearts jumped out from their chests.

"Could the rumors be true? A monster at day who kills without mercy and a charming prince at night "? They thought as they looked looked back at the closed dinning door.

Entering the dinning room, all eyes fell on the person that came in. Even though they couldn't see his face because of the mask he was wearing, they all knew who he is. The youngest prince of Eldrida kingdom.

A prince rumored to be a monster at day and a charming prince at night.

Though, they have heard him speak. His deep masculine voice was something that made Clara wonder if the rumor could be true.

There was a time in the night, when she went to his quarters to see him so she could catch a glimpse of his face but to her dismay, the guards refused her and escorted her back.

Could it be prince Lucas guards had seen his face? She thought and quickly discarded that thought.

The masked prince didn't say anything and went to sit farthest away from his family.

Welcome back Lucas. Queen Tira greeted her son. Since the day Lucas started exhibiting some strange characteristics at a tender age, the king had made sure he wore mask to cover his face.

Prince Lucas didn't respond and only nodded his head.

King Henry didn't bother to acknowledge his son's arrival. He took his spoon and hit the plate making a clanking sound to gain everyone's attention.

Attention everyone! King Henry said and everyone looked at him except of course Lucas. His eyes were solely on the red meat covered in blood.

Who the hell would try to test his patient. He thought.

So there is a great news I want to deliver to everyone so they can start making preparations. He said.

"Lucas will be getting married in three days to the princess of Hilltop kingdom". Every one paused and became confused.

What??

Lucas? How will he marry a princess when he has been wearing masks all his life. He is a monster. What if he even kills his new wife? Princess Clara said In a panicked tone.

Well, that's a good thing. Atleast a wife will be there to see his face that looks like that of a monster. The royal grandma said hatefully.

Queen Tira gulped and Princess Abigail stared at her brother for him to comment.

Well, that's a great news. Let's see how the wife looks whether or not she is fit for him. Levi was the one who spoke and tatt seems to have gain Lucas glaring eyes.

Lucas had heard what his father said.

Deep down in his heart, he was delighted enough at the fact that his father has found him a bride. He hope this marriage makes his father see the better in him apart from him killing brutally and mercilessly. He thought.

Levi stared at Lucas dark black eyes before looking away. He didn't want to be on his brother beastful side.

After making the announcement, the King stood up and left the dinning.

Mother, what are we going to do? Will the girl's family agree to marry their daughter off to someone who is rumored to be a monster at day? Abigail said worriedly.

Well , there is no need for you all to worry,a marriage proposal have been sent to the king of Hilltop and king Henry will be making his visit to give them the date which is in three days for the wedding. Queen Riley said and everyone became silent.

Once dinner was over, the royal grandma and the queen mother went back to their chambers. While Queen Tira left the dinning room and was walking on the corridor when Queen Riley gripped her hands harshly.

Queen Tira gasped trying to freeherself away from her tight grip.

Listen to me, I will make sure my son be the rightful heir to the throne. Riley threatened.

I'm not arguing with you. Queen Tira said and Queen Riley let go of her hand.

With out saying a word,she walked away leaving Tira on the empty hall. Tira cleaned the lurked tears from her eyes before going back to her chamber to sleep.

Inside the dinning room,

Lucas stood up and was about to leave when Levi spoke,

How will you treat your new wife? He asked with a mocking tone.

But as usual, Lucas ignored him and walked out of the dinning room.

Clara glared at Levi before stomping out of the dinning room.
