Bound to the devil prince

Catherine was still brushing her hair when a knock distracted her.

At first, she didn't answer and the persisting person knocked again.

Come in! She said and dropped her comb on the table.

Good morning my lady. A maid greeted her head bow.

The maid was her second handmaid named Lizzy.

What happened? Princess Catherine asked and went to sit on her couch.

My lady, breakfast is ready. Lizzy said bowing her head deeply.

Princess Catherine rolled her eyes. She didn't want to have breakfast with the king ever since he formed a forceful alliance with her to Lord Robert.

I'm not hungry. And if the king and mother ask why, tell them I said I'm not hungry. Princess Catherine said with a serious tone.

Yes my lady. Lizzy bowed her head and left.

Catherine locked her door to avoid any maids or guards to come disturb her. She walked towards mirror and packed her hair into a bun before laying on her bed to sleep.

In the huge dinning room,

The king was seated on the head chair as a king he is. While Queen Sarah sat by his right side.

Prince Michael also sat on his left side while his wife, Princess Alice sat next to him.

"Good morning your majesty." Princess Alice greeted.

Morning! Queen Sarah replied her with a sweet smile. While the king ignored her.

Just as everyone began to eat, King Edward eyes fell on the empty chair beside Queen Sarah.

He stopped eating making a clanking sound with spoon hitting the plate to gain everyone's attention.

Everyone paused and turned to look at the king.

"What's wrong father"? Michael asked with a smile that didn't reach his eyes.

Where is Catherine? He asked with all form of seriousness.

Michael rolled his eyes at his father's question. So that is the reason why he had banged his plate to gain everyone's attention to. What a foolish old man! He thought.

Queen Sarah sigh.

Maids!! Queen Sarah called and three maids came in head bow.

Where is Catherine? Is she not having breakfast? Queen Sarah asked with a calm tone.

Your majesty, I went to call Lady Catherine for breakfast, but she said she is not hungry. Lizzy said bowing her head deeply.

You may leave. Queen Sarah said waving her hand to dismiss the maids.

My king, she is not hungry. Let's just continue with our meal. Queen Sarah said carefully in other not to face the king's wrath.

King Edward nodded thoughtfully.

"Whether she eats or not, she will still get married". He thought to himself while they continue eating their meal.

King Henry was in the second queen room.

He sat on the couch while Queen Riley who was a proud and arrogant queen stood up and took the king's hands and kissed it.

My king, welcome to my chamber. She said all smiles.

You know kingdom you told me about, Hilltop kingdom. King Henry said.

"I sent a marriage proposal to their king to allow his daughter marry one of the princes. " King Henry said with a blank expression and a smirk curved on his face.

The king had five children, three were born from Tira and the other two were born from Riley.

The crown prince Levi sat in the middle, while his wife the crown princess Hailey sat next to her husband.

Princess Clara the younger sister of Levi, daughter of Riley sat next to her step sister princess Abigail.

While everyone were seated and about to eat,King Henry asked,

"Where are Oliver and Lucas"?

Uhm, your majesty,my brothers aren't back from the hunting they went. Princess Abigail replied with a straight face even though, she was afraid of her father's wrath. She was scared of her father and the second evil queen. She didn't know why her father had to marry another woman and coronate her as the second queen.
