Bound to the devil prince

The Queen mother stood up and pulled Queen Tira up.

No matter what, you are still the real Queen of Eldrida kingdom. Any other woman is a mistres. The queen mother said with a smile.

Queen Tira didn't say anything and just nodded her head.

I have to go Queen mother. Queen Tira said.

Sure, see you at dinner. The queen mother said smiling. Tira nodded and with that left the chamber. Queen Tira went back to her room to take a nap.

In King Edward castle,

King Edward who had sent Elywnn to call the queen stood up from his throne. He was walking round the courtroom until he heard her voice.

"My king, you called for me". Queen Sarah said head bow.

Come here. He said making his way back to the throne. Queen Sarah rose her head and stared at her husband.

She was in her room preparing to take a nap when the king's advisor Elywnn came to call her that the king seeks for her attention.

Yes, I called for you. Queen Sarah. He said.

Why my king? Queen Sarah asked with great surprise.

Well, the king of Eldrida kingdom gave me an offer. He said with a proud look in his eyes.

Queen Sarah didn't interrupt him waiting for him to finish talking.

The offer states that, he wants our daughter for one of his sons, the princes; and in return, he will give us more powers. King Edward said with a great smile.

Queen Sarah was shocked and also taken aback. There was silence in the courtroom for a long while before Queen Sarah parted her lips to talk.

She asked,

"Does Catherine knows"?

King Edward stared at his foolishly naive wife before he stood up and walked towards her. He grabbed her jaws harshly making her yelp and winced in pain.

Catherine must not find out until the King of Eldrida comes to visit. He said through gritted teeth. The next thing he didn't wanted is for some one to sabotage his upcoming plan. He wanted powers.

His greed for powers has no ends. He thought and pushed the queen away. Queen Sarah fell back but managed to hold herself from falling. Tears were lurked In her eyes.

Now leave, before I lose my temper. He said coldly before going back to sit on his throne.

Queen Sarah nodded and left the courtroom back to her room. She sat on the bed trying to digest what the king had said.

Is he really going to marry off their daughter to another kingdom? Queen Sarah was lost in thoughts. She kept thinking and thinking not knowing when she dozed off.

The day was still going smoothly, with maids working tirelessly.

On the castle tower stood a girl, her back facing the empty corridors. Her long black hair cascaded down her back with the wind blowing some of it to cover her face.

She slowly tucked the hair behind her ear, her eyes staring out at the bright sky. She was wearing a black silky ball gown that brought out her curves. While she was staring out the sky, a maid came to meet her.

"Good morning my lady". A maid greeted her head bow.

The girl who was staring at the sky finally turned to look at the maid who's her handmaid. The moment she turned to look at her maid, her eyes which were black just like her silky black hair stared at her and asked,

"Is my room ready"?

Yes my lady. The maid whose name is Mary said.

Alright then. You may leave. She waved her dismissing the maid.

Catherine turned back to continue looking at the sky when she heard his voice.

His cold and heartless voice that belongs to no other person than her proud brother the prince of Hilltop kingdom Michael.

Tsk, tsk, what are you doing here all by yourself Catherine? Prince Michael asked with a proud look. A menacing smile crept to his face staring at his sister.

Princess Catherine didn't answer him and rolled her eyes at him before turning back to look at the sky. It was pointless talking to someone like him.

Michael sigh.

Oh I see, growing wings already. What a nerve! He said through gritted teeth. Well, I can't wait for father to rush your marriage with the king of-------

Michael please stop it. Catherine cut him off. She was tired of hearing this over and over again.

She knew this will happen and Michael will use it to taunt her. But she had no other choice. Hopefully, her father should cancel the alliance with Lord Robert. She thought.

Oh please, dear sister. You won't be here anymore and I will be the next king of Hilltop kingdom. Michael said with a loud laughter that echoed in the empty corridor.

If you continue disturbing me, I might have to break the promise of not telling your wife on how you and a kitchen maid had sex on your bed. Catherine said with a sweet smile and Michael glared angrily at her.

"That day had been the worst day of his life. He had forgotten that he had told Catherine to come see him and when she had come, she caught him having sex with the kitchen maid. Out of fear, the kitchen maid quickly ran away from the scene as if she was caught stealing. While Catherine stared at him in shock. He had begged Catherine not to reveal his secret to anyone including his wife".

Michael clenched his fists tightly and continue glaring at her.

What do you want? He asked through gritted teeth.

What I want from you is you should let me be. Catherine said and walked away leaving Michael rooted to the ground.

"I won't spare you Catherine. " He mumbled before leaving the corridor.

Catherine walked to her room and opened the door before stepping in. She walked towards her bed and sat on it. After a while, she stood up and went to sit on the dressing stool in front of the dressing mirror. She took her comb and began to brush her long black hair.
