“You can set a contract, which is an essential rule for sorcerers. Breaching it results in severe repercussions.”
“Not necessary. Even if this is the truth of the world, I won’t run away.”
Her gaze wavered, seemingly considering the future Lin Qi painted for her, then resolved, “If weaker, learn to become stronger; if unjust society, strive to build fairness; if wrong, find a way to change it!”

Yukinoshita Yukito vowed confidently, her tone firm and her eyes resolute. She radiated an almost blinding light.
Lin Qi only wished to laugh.
He wondered where Yukinoshita Yukino’s confidence came from.
In his eyes, she was like a cute kitten declaring dominance over the world, making all humans slaves to cats. Naive and endearing.
“Ah, you broke the remote. Now we can’t switch channels.”
Lin Qi’s comment deflated Yukinoshita Yukino instantly, as if struck by softness rather than force. The feeling encompassed mild annoyance, discomfort, and a hint of embarrassment.

She decided to go take a bath.
Only when she stood at the bathroom door with fresh clothes did she realize the real issue.
“Come on, why stop? There are no man-eating monsters inside.” Lin Qi grinned devilishly, reminiscent of a Grandmaster from Warrior Souls Temple.
Ignoring the taunting echoes filling the air, and after several deep breaths to steady her nerves, Yukinoshita Yukino bit her lip decisively, entering the bathroom.
