Shuddering, Yukinoshita Yukino reacted swiftly under Lin Qi’s prompt, darting to one side to avoid the disgusting slime.
The slime hit the ground with hissing sound, burning holes through the carpet, releasing steam.
“This… is a cursed spirit?” The black-haired girl trembled.
“Just a level two, very new, not strong at all.” Lin Qi remarked casually, “Not running? Well, if you do run, other residents might be killed, too.”
The cursed spirit dropped from the ceiling onto the floor, almost filling the living room space. Its humped back bumped against the ceiling while its eight sharp claws easily shattered the glass coffee table.
Even as a beast-shaped cursed spirit, it was entirely reminiscent of a decaying, pus-dripping stray dog in a zombie movie.

The moment Lin Qi took over Yukinoshita Yukino’s body, the cursed spirit appeared to detect something, but instead of attacking, it recoiled, cowering and whimpering like a frightened dog.
“Wild animal instincts indeed.”
Lin Qi chuckled, then casually waved his hand; before the cursed spirit could react, its body was sliced into several pieces, purple blood gushing from the clean cuts.
Formerly a frightening fiend, it now lay in tatters on the floor.
Lin Qi snapped his fingers to set the broken remains ablaze, quickly reducing them to ashes.
“Well, I leave the cleanup to you.”
And with that, he relinquished control. The black patterns on the girl’s face faded, the extra eyes closing, leaving behind faint marks beneath the eyelids.
“The… battle is over?”
Taking control of her body again, Yukinoshita Yukino blinked at the chaos left by Lin Qi.
“Sukuna Two-Face? Mr. Lin Qi? Mister Jerk?”
Regardless of how much she called out, Lin Qi, who had previously been garrulous, remained silent, as though vanished.
