Chapter 38: Chapter 38
Most people couldn't see it. Including Patrick, who was facing Ron.
However, the moment Killer Queen appeared, several gazes immediately shifted over.
A young man with silver hair. A tall man with a bushy beard.
Patrick suddenly charged at Ron, his expression ferocious as if he intended to devour him. Ron stood still, making no move.
But at that moment, Killer Queen sprang into action.
---
"You have no idea where my attack is coming from!"
Patrick imagined his next strike hitting Ron, picturing the shock on Ron's face.
"Let me open the door to a new world for you!"
A massive collision echoed through the arena.
"Bang!"
But in the next moment, Patrick's expression froze. He realized that his invisible left leg had not connected with Ron. Instead, it had been blocked before it could reach him.
"What?"
Patrick's pupils constricted in disbelief.
"Do you also have that ability?" A possibility dawned on him. "No, it's impossible!"
"What right do you have to possess that ability?" he seethed inwardly.
"I only obtained my ability after enduring such pain; why do you get to skip that?"
"It's not fair!"
"Killer Queen, take care of him." Ron commanded.
In the next instant, Killer Queen tightly grasped Patrick's invisible left leg with both hands and violently tossed him backwards. But this wasn't the end; it was just the beginning. Killer Queen began to attack Patrick continuously.
Ron watched the crystal ball in front of him. The progress on it increased slightly.
"As expected, the presence of battles in the Sky Arena affects the absorption rate of my Observer's Intent."
The spectators outside the arena were stunned. The match was completely different from what they had anticipated. Most had favored Patrick, especially with his acclaimed ability, the invisible left leg, which many had praised. After all, ordinary people really couldn't see it.
But now, Patrick was being utterly crushed—crushed in a nonsensical manner. Ron simply stood there, not moving at all.
"Could it be that Ron also has an invisible ability?"
"What could it be?" A middle-aged man with a grim face suddenly seemed to think of something.
"Match-fixing!" he shouted.
However, not many agreed with him. Whether it was match-fixing or not, they could clearly see what was happening. Patrick was being beaten to a pulp; there was blood all over the arena, and he could barely stand.
Moreover, they were on the 200th floor of the Sky Arena.
Immediately, staff members began to manage the disruptive spectators. Ron glanced at the audience outside the arena before quickly withdrawing his gaze.
"The absorption rate has slowed down again." Ron looked at the crystal ball in front of him. "Killer Queen, finish it."
With that command, Killer Queen moved behind Patrick, embraced him, and violently threw him out of the arena.
"Bang!"
The entire arena seemed to tremble. Patrick lost consciousness, foaming at the mouth, his eyes rolling back.
"The winner is… Ron!" The referee declared, and the host exuberantly announced Ron's name.
The news spread quickly throughout the 200th floor. Even those competitors not currently in the Sky Arena received the information.
"Only nine years old?"
"It seems another promising contender has arrived on the 200th floor, aiming for the Floor Master position."
"The competition just got tougher."
This was the general sentiment among ordinary competitors above the 200th floor of the Sky Arena. For the new assassins, however, Ron's victory raised their wariness to an extreme level. After all, Patrick was considered quite strong among them, yet he was so easily defeated by Ron.
In a certain room, several new assassins gathered, exchanging serious glances.
"He's not just any rookie."
"He has that ability, and he's mastering it better than we are."
"He must have a mentor."
"We can't provoke him any further."
"Let's avoid matches with him."
One competitor sighed. "Isaiah got lucky; otherwise, with his style, he might have been killed by Ron in the arena."
"Patrick wasn't as arrogant as Isaiah, and look what happened to him."
"In the future, let's just steer clear of Ron."
"Let's set our sights on others."
Another hesitated before speaking. "What if we go ahead with that plan?"
"What plan?"
"To cultivate our own young talent, get them to the 200th floor, and then defeat them to quickly accumulate victories and qualify for the challenge against the Floor Master."
"If the Sky Arena finds out about cheating, we'll be punished."
"Cheating? Once we're on the 200th floor, we'll just compete normally. If we don't teach them Nen, how can they be our opponents? We'll only be arranging their match times."
Ron returned to his room, resuming his previous lifestyle. After one match, he would enjoy nearly three months of free time. No battles are required. Aside from his daily training, Ron kept an eye on all the fights above the 200th floor of the Sky Arena. As long as there were battles, Ron would buy tickets and head to the audience area.
However, today's situation was a bit special.

### Chapter 49: Ron: Why Does This Puppet Seem So Familiar?
On one side was Ron's acquaintance, Kyle. On the other was a notable contender from the 200th floor of the Sky Arena, a woman named Juliana. She had a similar nen type to that of Biscuit and Zeno, but she was weaker in terms of power. Nevertheless, she was already considered quite formidable on the 200th floor, boasting an 80% victory rate and just two matches away from qualifying to challenge the Floor Master.
Kyle, unfortunately, was not very lucky. Juliana had been away for training and had just returned recently. When Kyle applied, he expected to face a group of new competitors, so he submitted his application with confidence. Compared to them, Kyle felt he had a good chance.
Unfortunately, he didn't get matched against the newcomers.
"Thank goodness Kyle applied before me."
"Otherwise, I would have been up against Juliana."
A competitor looked at Kyle and snorted. "Hmph! Kyle, you thought you could pick up my leftovers, but now you're stuck with Juliana instead. You deserve it!"
Ron took another look at the crystal ball in front of him and used Nen to observe the arena.
"The gap is too wide."
"They're not on the same level."
Ron could clearly see that Kyle's aura was nowhere near comparable to Juliana's.
