The Strongest Artist in Naruto

Chapter 24: Chapter 24: The Eight-Tails vs. Art

"I'm finally free!"

"Damn humans! How dare you seal Gyūki-sama for so long! Unforgivable!" roared the Eight-Tails, Gyūki, as he bellowed his frustration into the open sea. His anger was palpable, his massive form looming over the water like a harbinger of destruction.

It seemed Killer Bee hadn't yet achieved full mastery as a jinchūriki. Deidara noticed something was amiss early on. Although Bee's relentless rapping was there, his fighting style was unrefined—wild and beast-like. Moments ago, he had been in a berserk state, unable to control the rampaging tailed beast within.

"As thanks for releasing me, I'll send you three little insects to the afterlife first! Then, I'll return to that island, destroy the waterfall, the temple—everything!" Gyūki's laughter echoed through the skies, his tentacles flailing with reckless abandon.

Never underestimate the hatred tailed beasts harbor toward humans. There's a reason why perfect jinchūriki are so rare. Each village has struggled to maintain control over its assigned beast, often facing catastrophic failures. Their animosity was not unearned. Who wouldn't despise being captured, imprisoned, and exploited for their chakra for decades?

Of course, if anyone was to blame, it would be Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage. His idealistic plan to distribute tailed beasts among the Great Villages in an attempt to maintain a balance of power had only sown more chaos. Though his intentions were noble, the outcome was naive and laughable in hindsight.

"Magnet Release: Iron Sand World Method!" Sasosi, ever-calm, manipulated the Third Kazekage puppet to deploy his signature magnetic jutsu, forming a massive barrage of iron sand to intercept Gyūki's charge.

"That won't work on me, human!" Gyūki's deep voice rumbled with mockery, and he was right. While the iron sand could barely breach the half-transformed Killer Bee's defenses earlier, it was woefully inadequate against Gyūki's full power.

BOOM! BOOM!

Gyūki's tentacles smashed through the iron sand with overwhelming force, scattering the technique like dust. Even as he continued his rampage, he managed to strike Sasosi's prized puppet, Hiruko, tipping the balance of the battle in an instant. Though Sasosi hadn't lost outright, it was clear to anyone watching that defeat was inevitable.

"Deidara-sama, what should we do now? The Eight-Tails is too strong," Waterman's voice trembled, emanating from the sea below.

Deidara, however, seemed unfazed. He even had the audacity to crack a joke.

"Didn't you claim to rival the Three-Tails? What happened to that confidence?"

There was a brief silence before Waterman muttered awkwardly, "I've never actually fought a tailed beast before. I just figured if there's enough water, I might stand a chance."

"Don't lose hope," Deidara said with an uncharacteristic note of reassurance. "The Eight-Tails is leagues above the Three-Tails, but your abilities, when used properly, are still formidable."

Meanwhile, Sasosi, who was now at a disadvantage, summoned five more puppets. Among them was his latest masterpiece—a puppet crafted from the Seven-Tails' jinchūriki—and four other elite creations from his collection. Though Sasosi had a vast arsenal, sheer numbers were meaningless against a tailed beast.

"Chōmei's chakra? Is that… its jinchūriki?" Gyūki's rage flared upon seeing the Seven-Tails' jinchūriki puppet, its four tails unfurling menacingly.

"Damn you humans!" Gyūki snarled, his fury stoked further by the sight of his kin reduced to such a state. While tailed beasts often clashed with one another, they shared a deep-seated camaraderie born of their shared suffering.

"Die! Tailed Beast Bomb!" Gyūki reared his horned head high, gathering Yin and Yang chakra in an 8:2 ratio. A massive black sphere formed, pulsating with destructive energy, before it shot toward his foes with blinding speed.

Powerful. Incredibly powerful.

This was a full-powered Tailed Beast Bomb from Gyūki himself. Earlier, the half-transformed Killer Bee's version had already shaken Sasosi, but this was leagues beyond. The sheer scale of the attack was staggering.

"Magnet Release: Iron Sand Wall!" Sasosi quickly manipulated his iron sand into a massive defensive barrier. The black sphere collided with the iron sand, splitting the sea in its wake. Unlike before, however, the results were devastating.

"What?!" Sasosi gasped in shock. The iron sand, known for its legendary defense, was effortlessly pierced by the Tailed Beast Bomb as though it were mere paper.

"Water Release: Water Formation Wall!" Waterman intervened just in time, summoning towering walls of water to absorb the residual shockwaves. Though weaker than the iron sand, the multiple layers gave Sasosi a moment to retreat. In this watery battlefield, Waterman had reached a temporary kage-level strength.

"Sasosi, let's go all out," Deidara said, his mouth busy chewing clay. This time, Sasosi didn't argue. He understood that victory was unattainable alone.

"You pitiful insects dare challenge me? Witness the power of Gyūki-sama!" Gyūki bellowed, unimpressed by their efforts. Though Sasosi had the strongest chakra among them, it wasn't enough to truly threaten the Eight-Tails.

Deidara smirked. "Gyūki, let me show you my art."

"C2: Enhanced Dragon!"

A massive clay dragon emerged, soaring into the sky with a deafening roar.

[Gyūki shock value: +1200]

[Uchiha Obito shock value: +500]

"So you can create something that large? I'll admit, I underestimated you," Gyūki said, eyeing the colossal dragon. "But size alone doesn't make it strong!"

"My dragon isn't just for show. Don't underestimate me, Gyūki!" Deidara declared, his fingers intertwining as a manic grin spread across his face. Saliva glistened at the corner of his mouth from his excitement.

"Secret Technique: Dragon's Nest!"

"Magnet Release: Iron Sand Bind!"

"Water Release: Water Whip!"

Sasosi and Waterman coordinated their attacks to restrain Gyūki's tentacles, creating an opening for Deidara's explosive onslaught.

"Art is an explosion!" Deidara cried, sending the clay dragon plummeting toward Gyūki's head.

BOOM!

A massive detonation engulfed the Eight-Tails. Smoke and fire filled the sky as Gyūki's agonized roar echoed.

[Gyūki shock value: +1500]

[Uchiha Obito shock value: +1000]

Clutching his head with his tentacles, Gyūki reeled in pain. He hadn't expected the dragon to explode with such devastating force. The intense heat of the explosion had burned his entire head, leaving him stunned.

This battle was far from over. But for the first time, the mighty Gyūki was forced to acknowledge his opponents.
