The Red Rose and The Black Rose

Chapter 66: Chapter 46

If the Dragon Wyrm Lord had to define his mood, it would be with one word. Anxiety.

It's not like he doesn't know his strength, and it's not like there are actually so many beings capable of defeating him in the entire world. However, these beings capable of crushing him as if he were a lizard exceeded the number of fingers on humanoid hands.

Not only was he not a great Dragon Lord, that is, he was not at the level of the Dragon Lord of Brilliance, nor the Dragon Lord of Platinum… He was not even the strongest Dragon Lord among the Council of Argland without counting Tsaindorcus! Even the damned Orc hero of the Council was stronger than him!

An attack happened during a 'practice' 'combat' between the 'champions' of each nation participating in the raid on the Demon Empire.

During this combat, Tsaindorcus fought head-on against countless Demons, some of which were even surprisingly destructive.

However, the Platinum Dragon Lord assured him that he would have no problem against said Demons as long as he did not face an entire army alone.

Therefore, considering that Zalazilkalia would lead the Argland Council's army against the Demons, he was not particularly nervous about it.

How could he, a Dragon Lord, feel so intimidated by mere Demons?

While he wasn't the proudest Dragon, he was still a Dragon, and therefore, he wasn't going to let himself be scared by insects like that.

On the other hand, he wasn't stupid either.

Tsaindorcus himself had trouble fighting side by side with the Paladin Titania and the human dog he got against the Komodo Demon, and was not able to defeat him. He didn't lose, but that still spoke to the power of the Komodo Demon.

That being said, Zalazilkalia had 0 hope of fighting such a monster.

He did not doubt that even using his second, last and most powerful Wild Magic spell, his strongest equipment and all his power, he would lose in less than a minute.

Or maybe it would last a little longer than that with luck.

After all, what else could a Dragon Lord who barely fit into the category of 'True Dragon Lord' like him expect from a beast that gave a fight to the strongest Dragon Lord?

In the end, the insulting ways of calling him ended up being the only way to define him when facing a being like the Komodo Demon, a mere worm with scales.

He sighed beneath his armor.

He then looked back slightly, watching the immense army of Argland marching with swords, armor, claws and teeth, following the Dragon Lord into war.

The Argland Army did not have much real organization. There were no fixed equipment or very elaborate and divided ranks, nor anything like forced recruitment as in Re-Estize, nor specialized training, complex military tactics or division into 'Legions' like the once existing Baharuth Empire.

After all, with 5 Dragon Lords in command, what army would dare attack the Council?

They did not want new lands, so the army was not so necessary. However, it's not like he's skimping on not having an army.

It was not a developed one, and the veterans mainly consisted of transferees from vassal and allied nations such as the Karsan City-State Alliance or the northern nation.

After all, again, the Argland Council had no need for an army.

Still, it didn't mean that they didn't have one of the strongest in the world.

Not because of organization, equipment, training or anything like that. It was simply because of three factors.

First, the absurd number of naturally powerful Demihumans, along with veteran Demihumans or Humans from other nations. Second, the Argland Council possessed very useful, similar to the Theocracy in that sense, although not exactly, heroes.

They weren't especially strong really, but you were still heroes, and Demihumans as well, which placed them even further above human heroes. If he had to be compared better, a hero of the Council of Argland, or better called Champions,

He was just like one of the former great leaders and commanders of the Beastmen who once tried to invade the Draconic Kingdom. Of course, they all varied in power, especially in comparison to the definitive Champion of Argland, Morgol, an Orc so strong that he could even fight Zalazikalia and win without a good margin.

Although unfortunately for the current situation, Morgol was not in the army that Wyrm led for important reasons.

And third and most important, the very presence of the Dragon Lords.

It wasn't an empty title after all. Even Zalazilkalia, who was not even a decently strong Dragon Lord among them, he could wipe out the entire army of the incinerated Re-Estize without problems.

And of course, in the face of a threat like the Demon Empire, with the strongest Dragon Lord's own assessment said, the Dragon Lord Wyrm simply couldn't go alone this time as it might have happened in the past...

He needed the entire army of Argland.

Bear Men advanced strongly while wearing heavy armor of metal, leather or even mithril among the strongest. Mountain Giants followed the unit from afar so as not to get in the way, while Sheep Men functioned as squires and backpackers for the army while Bull Men, barely so different from the Minotaurs,

They helped carry wheelbarrows with Cow Women.

Humans were really few in the army, as they were a weak race in themselves, and there were not many humans in Argland who were willing to go to war, however, their presence in the army still existed.

Argland, currently, should leave in a single army between the Arg Mountains.

Glaria, which separated the current territory of the Demon Empire from Argland, towards what was once the city of E-Asenaru.

The blow would be quick, powerful, and enough to retake the position and efficiently enter Komodo's domain.

After all, if the Marble Queen and Titania herself were right,

The Demon Empire's greatest obstacle would be found at every border and in the 'capital' itself.

That is, if they managed to enter, overcoming the border defenses of the Demons, the rest would be a piece of cake until they reached where the Komodo Demon was.

The plan was quite simple really. The Argland Council, although it had sea power, it was not good enough to be able to bring so much military power towards the sea coast of Re-Estize. Yes, enough to at least free up the coasts a little and reduce the number of Demons that would attack them once they enter.

But not much more efficient than clearing the coasts with land units first and using the sea to land additional troops and supplies.

The former would be a good plan if the Holy Oak Kingdom was in a position to provide military support, but they were still rebuilding after the Demon Invasion.

Deorum Regnum would attack the adjacent coast from the north, from the internal sea, just as they would ambush the Demon Empire from where they would never expect it, the Azerlisia Mountains.

Likewise, both Deorum Regnum and the Slane Theocracy would go through the newly defended and battered Katze Plains into the interior of the Empire, where E-Rantel was once located.

That was the plan. Although Zalazilkalia could only sigh and hope it would all be over.

He was not a very warlike Dragon, so, in the face of this war, he could only think about how all the military losses that Argland would have would affect the economy...

It really never occurred to him to think seriously about the safety of his people because of the morality of the fact. Only very superficially, like an entomologist sighing when he knew that some ants on his farm were going to die even if he didn't want them to.

"Mr. Zalazilkalia. Can you see that?" One of the High Military Commands of Argland, not just any Demihuman, but what could be considered a 4th reason why Argland's army was one of the strongest in the world, called towards the Dragon Lord Wyrm.

Zalazilkalia looked towards the one who called him… Keigalke…

He wore ostentatious armor, which looked even better than the Wyrm himself, with a legendary sword at his waist…

Of course, the boy didn't pull out said armor and sword from anywhere. It was his father who gave him said equipment from his own treasures, which spoke of the esteem he had in the boy, and the potential he had.

After all, the Platinum Dragon Lord was very stingy with his treasures.

Although I am not at all stingy about getting any woman pregnant and throwing the result of that at the other councilors...

The Dragon Wyrm Lord, after looking towards the Half-Dragon, fixed his gaze on where it was pointing...

Ah... Yes... What officially defined the 'entrance' to Hell...

A sky eerily clouded by unnatural and evil clouds darkened the land, corrupting it with their unholy energy and welcoming the slaughterhouse with a devilish smile…

"Yes… Listen well, my people!" He raised his voice, stopping and turning around.

"After several days of travel! We finally find ourselves at the final border with that abomination's supposed Demon Empire! From here! Their lives will be in danger 24/7! Everything there can kill them! Be Mule Men or Giants! But fear not! I, the Lord Dragon Wyrm, I will accompany you on this march towards Hell! WE WILL FINISH THOSE DEMONS AND FREE THIS WORLD FROM ITS YOKE!" With a final, inspiring roar, he unsheathed his sword, and raised it towards the sky.

""UOOOOOOOO!"" A chorus of determined roars, screams and screams was accompanied by swords, spears, bows, claws,

fists and countless other weapons came out in a powerful roar that even overshadowed the constant thunder of the red clouds not far away.

Lowering his sword, the Wyrm turned around, looking towards the entrance to the turning point.

He took a deep breath, beginning to see how countless figures and things moved through the darkness, a darkness so thick, that even his draconic eyes could barely see through it…

He could only tighten his grip on his sword, look out of the corner of his eye at the Legacies of the World, those Half-Dragons of the army... And look with determination back at the soon-fallen Demon Empire...

Telen was not just anyone. Or well, at least within the army.

He was a respected general of the Slane Theocracy. The holy nation of the Gods. Of the true Gods!

And it was his duty, as a faithful follower of the divine will, to march alongside the rest of the vast army of the Slane Theocracy to put an end to the blasphemy of a kingdom made of dirty Demons, of impious creatures that dirty the world and insulted the name of the Gods with their mere existence.

Even if they had to… Ally themselves and fight side by side with heretics from the nation of inferior races that dared to call themselves 'Deorum Regnum'.

Fortunately for your own knowledge, he had no idea that the alliance extended with the Argland Council.

Regardless, Telen was quite strong, if he must say. Of course, he was not someone who had reached the Realm of Heroes, and could not even aspire to be part of any of the holy scriptures yet, but he could still fight 1 on 1 against a trained Demihuman and defeat him without problem in the sum of his strength, skill and experience.

Every soldier of the Slane Theocracy, after all, was heavily trained to fight monsters that far exceeded purely physical human capabilities.

After all, humanity did not survive because they were strong, had claws, teeth, incredible senses, or anything similar.

That, Telen, knew very well.

However…

"Hiiii! Get away! Get away, you filthy beast!" His scream of terror sounded almost pathetic as he watched in horror as an avalanche of Imps rushed at him, laughing with malicious, bloody amusement as they came closer and closer, surrounding him more and more…

No matter how many he cut with his sword, more and more came…

"Archangel! Attack!" He heard from somewhere, seeing as if out of the corner of his eye, a powerful and brilliant Angel summoned, a symbol of the Slane Theocracy, an Archangel of Flames,

He charged quickly and fearlessly towards a group of goat-like Demons on two legs with swords and spears that hissed like snakes and breathed fire.

He didn't have time to see how that fight unfolded when an Imp jumped on his face, knocking him over and making him stumble.

Its weight, added to its armor, was enough to crush one unfortunate Imp to death, but there were plenty more to make up for the loss.

"W-Wah! G-Get away! L-Let go of me!" He shouted desperately, concentrating on getting the little Demon off of him, who was laughing with amusement and malice as he pulled out a dagger from nowhere.

He quickly punched him, causing the creature to scream in pain and appear to get angry, only to receive another punch.

Unlike other Demons, Imps were not stronger than Humans. They were just smaller, they had claws, tails, teeth, maybe fire magic, and there were a lot of them. They were more like Goblins than anything actually, although much worse.

Therefore, such a punch was enough to stun the little Demon, before he was grabbed by the neck by Telen and thrown aside…

"Hiiiaaaa!" Although such an action was of no use when dozens of knives and teeth were stuck throughout his body in the form of Imps stabbing and biting Telen's body.

Laughter, laughter, fire, blood and evil was all that the general of the Theocracy could hear and see... And then...

A spear was swung firmly and forcefully, piercing the skulls of 4 Imps in a single blow, only to retreat and cut the necks of two Imps with one slash, while the wielder of said spear approached and kicked another Imp.

A series of arrows shot out from behind, stabbing into the heads and chests of the rest of the Imps, while the silver-armored spearman continued to dispatch the endless Imps.

Telen breathed heavily as she crawled back in pain, looking towards her rescuers...

The spearman was…

The silver armor had a very characteristic emblem on its arms… Deorum Regnum…

With the ease with which Telen should have been able to finish off the Imps, the Deorum Regnum foot soldier easily finished off everyone with greater ease, without a scratch other than the blood of the Daemons on his armor.

Their weapons and armor shone, they seemed enchanted... They were undoubtedly a troop with elite equipment... He doubted that he himself could defeat one of those soldiers due to the difference in equipment, and it made him quite angry that he had such a disadvantage against an inferior kingdom. …

He had basically been saved by those he saw as inferior, and not only that, but it was that Kingdom that was declared good and holy... These heretics... I would have preferred to die rather than be saved by these guys...

However, between the pain and the rage, he could only grit his teeth as a pair of Theocracy soldiers grabbed his arms and dragged him behind the line.

An eyebrow trembled as he watched the Angels of the Theocracy and Deorum Regnum fight side by side, with soldiers of the Gods being saved time and time again by the unstoppable army of heretics before the Demons...

Tch…

He opened his eyes when he saw what seemed to be projectiles made of pure light shooting from further back, crossing the sky like shooting stars and impacting the rear lines of the Demons, ending in explosions that blew dozens of Demons into pieces.

Catapults of the Theocracy fired their enormous projectiles of blessed silver, crashing into a huge Demon, hitting his face and making him retreat while teeth from his mouth shot out in all directions.

Deorum Regnum cannons exploded one after the other, shooting bright balls of sparks that separated, releasing white dust in their wake, before, upon impact with one of the armored Demons, all the white powder will explode in a single white explosion.

Arrows and cannonballs flew above the skies, while fireballs, needles, and unholy spells came from the Demon side.

Swords clashed against the metal of the armor of the Theocracy and those of Deorum Regnum, while other swords clashed against the flesh or armored or equipped armor of the Demons.

"[Heal]!" He heard, breaking Telen from her almost traumatic state of horrified contemplation at the infernal scene.

The pain of his wounds eased as he watched a priest of the Theocracy tend to his wounds with a spell.

However, before he could completely heal his wounds, another soldier came, with an entire arm missing as he screamed in agony, taking the priest's attention, while Telen was pushed aside along with his weapon…

His position mattered little right now… That's what he had just understood…

As long as he could stand and hold a weapon, he would not be discarded… And he could continue fighting…

He gritted his teeth with new fury as he took his sword, standing a little trembling with phantom pain, watching as soldiers of Slane and Deorum Regnum advanced crowded together towards the ocean of Demons...

The formation was almost perfect, a solid phalanx of spears and swords, practically impenetrable. The Demons that tried to approach were stopped by the defensive formation, both by themselves when they saw how dangerous it was, and by the weapons when they collided with them. And if anyone happened to pass them and collide with the shields, the swords of the soldiers of the Theocracy would take charge.

It was hard to admit but... They made the best combination he had ever seen in his entire career... And sure enough, the main line began to advance step by step.

Until a robust and huge red Demon with black horns and arms like claws like they were made of magma charged, destroying a part of the defensive formation and sending dozens of soldiers flying, roaring as the Demons quickly rushed through the opening.

The Demon seemed to have its claws sweating magma, as if preparing to shoot something from it as if it had grabbed something to throw.

However, an arrow of pure light pierced the Demon's shoulder.

Subsequently, as the monster grabbed the arrow in an attempt to remove itself, a giant suit of armor equaling the Demon's size appeared out of nowhere, wielding its spear and piercing the Demon's stomach with ease, before throwing the monster back into the demonic ocean, brandishing his spear again, and in a single slash, taking out dozens of Armored Demons that would require at least ten highly trained Theocracy soldiers to eliminate just 1, and even then, there would be casualties.

A winged demonic giant appeared from above, charging at the flying armor, however, it caught the attacker instead, and redirected its charge, causing it to collide with another Demon and causing a violent explosion of viscera and metal.

The lower part of the armor, which showed no legs, only armor as it floated, defying gravity, seemed to emit a flash, and as if fire seemed to erupt from there,

The armor shot like a fireball towards the ocean of Demons, spear in hand while a blue-haired girl with a bow rode on its back, shooting arrows of light that killed one Demon each.

"W-What…?" Telen watched in surprise as that thing killed the enormous Demons as if they were ants,

Each of their attacks seemed like unstoppable brutality… Watching how the pair, the blue-haired girl and that floating armor, made their way like an army of 2 individuals…

"With the Commander!" He heard one of the Deorum soldiers shout with great morale, listening to the other hundreds of soldiers around him with the same enthusiasm, returning to formation despite any type of injury, forcing the same morale on his own soldiers, who also wanted to be part of it.

"T-Tch! S-Stay…" Telen growled, with damage still prevailing in his body despite the healing, trying to regain control over his men. "I told you not to follow that heretic!"

Telen looked down feeling a searing pain, seeing that, for some reason, she had a missing leg… And a hole in the ground had appeared out of nowhere…

Suddenly, the ground shook and the hole opened, causing Telen to fall into it, feeling strong punctures in her waist and back.

"Ugh! Help-!" He was suddenly dragged into the ground, with the soldiers in the second row looking back at the scream, watching as the ground suddenly erupted with a loud high-pitched roar of a creature appearing.

"W-What is that thing!?" Soldiers of the Theocracy screamed at the sight of that anomalous creature.

Telen could only open her mouth, and scream in brutal pain, without comparison to the pain he received from the Imps' stabs, feeling like hundreds of needles stabbed into his leg and tore it apart.

Dozens of soldiers suffered the same fate, while in one of the holes, a huge worm covered in pointed horns, vomiting magma between the burning hole filled with teeth like pieces of obsidian that could be considered his mouth, he emerged from the ground, crushing more soldiers under his weight.

And from the holes that more strange worms created, Demons began to come out. And not just Imps, Hellhounds or Stalker Demons, but also of the armored soldiers.

Likewise, in the distance, the Commander of Deorum Regnum was suddenly knocked out of her armor by a powerful explosion of raging, burning flames.

And a giant with a robust build, muscles like skin charred from rock and bulging veins that let fire run through them, covered by furious and hungry fire while every step he took made the earth tremble despite actually measuring only about 3 meters, with an expression between arrogant, furious and mocking while two enormous wings sprang from his back, he appeared after punching the flying armor, sending her crashing into another giant Demon and knocking them both down.

{Evil Lord of Wrath PNG}

Panic began to overwhelm the army, seeing how their Commander was knocked down, and faced the ocean of Demons, and the powerful monster that emitted a heat and power, that was even felt behind the lines...

In addition, even within the ever-advancing defensive formation, the Demons found their way, attacking them from within in a surprise underground attack…

The coordinated attack caused the lines to break. It was not going to be easy to win at the borders... In fact, it was one of the two most dangerous areas, behind the capital. And therefore, the deaths were not something that was not expected…

Still… Why did the Theocracy soldiers have the feeling that the Demons were only attacking them…? No, it didn't matter... They had to fight with everything alongside the Deorum soldiers to win.

On the northern border, the one that Deorum Regnum would have to attack alone, right next to the border with the Argland Council, and yet separated by the vast Ar-Glaria Mountains, the battle was fierce…

"W-Wah… T-There's a lot of people…" A shy and cute Gorgon stammered as she hid her little face behind her hair, making sure to keep the anti-divination defenses at maximum around the area.

Not for nothing, after all... The fierce battle consisted of Deorum Regnum soldiers receiving boxes and bags from the Demons, while other Demons, along with the legendary Commander, Bulldoger, took seriously their confrontation over who could cause the most damage to the terrain, as if they deliberately sought to make it seem that the destruction of the all-out war that was currently happening was impressive and unprecedented.

The casualties would be heavy for both sides… It's not like the number of Demons here is only 10% of what 'was predicted to be', while the number of soldiers sent was only 20% of those 'officially sent' to make it appear that they had died... Not at all.

The presence of Eyesight to hide as best as possible all the terrain in which the millennia-old combat took place was for something unrelated.

And that countless Hanzos and Shadow Devils roaming around the war event was just a coincidence, although it seems that they were there to kill, capture or report the presence of anyone who could appreciate the legendary war that Deorum Regnum would unilaterally describe as cataclysmic.

It just seemed like such things were happening. This, of course, was an epic war that would be told from generation to generation to the younger ones to demonstrate how much Deorum Regnum sacrificed to end the reign of the evil Demon Queen, Komodo.

"W-Wah… Polux… Don't eat that…" Eyesight whimpered as he pushed the draconic head away from the rotting corpses that definitely wouldn't be used to simulate combat deaths.

How would someone come up with something like that? Doubt the epic military milestones of the Deorum Regnum army, of their sacrifices for the good of the world. How could there be anyone who doubts such a catastrophe?

(Base Attack equivalent to 11.3% of the Target's Total HP without buffs. Disabling buffs. I recalculate 7.7% of the Target's Total HP per Base Attack.)

Was she being too generous? She didn't think so, the blow was still painful, and her nerve endings should be quite active after receiving a hit from her arrows, worse if it was from Echidna.

The large Demon raised a hand, creating a huge ball of fire that began to condense, pointing it towards her, suddenly shooting it like a lightning bolt of enormous energy charge and density, basically,

The heat from the attack ironized the air and fired it, causing a plasma laser, only, ignoring conventional physics, the attack was simply visibly ordinary fire, although the heat it emitted was still enough to be effectively plasma.

It wasn't a real problem, Echidna appeared in front of her, with the attack hitting the armor, being dispersed into several beams broken in different directions.

Echidna was the Divine object that the Supremes had entrusted to it since its creation, and therefore, it was an indestructible construction and of incomparable power by other Constructs that are not of the same quality.

And even in Yggdrasil they were not common.

She drew her bow, with an arrow of light manifesting on the string, pointing at the Demon. Echidna moved to her right, allowing her to fire her arrow, which caused a loud boom from the speed of the shot.

The Demon covered his hand with fire, making a fist and using the back of it to hit the arrow, causing a strong shock wave, but managing to deflect the arrow to the side, although it still killed distant low-level Demons.

"[HELL LASER]!" With a furious roar, although he really wasn't, being that, even when his nature dictated that his 'aggro' would activate easily, he would never, NEVER dare to truly 'hate' someone like Miia or Echidna, the Lord of Wrath extended a hand towards the duo.

From his palm, burning fire swirled at an impressive temperature, and this time, following the laws of physics, a beam of pure plasma, however, of a sinister red hue, he shot at an impressive speed towards the Commander.

At one point, Echidna stepped in, putting her scale in the middle of the attack and her, causing the laser to hit the artifact squarely, but... Just as I expected from Echidna's functionality, her scale flashed with a bright silver aura, as if it had a force shield, and instantly, the laser disappeared… As expected, the divine class item neutralized the attack, making its damage and explosiveness effects disappear.

"[Starfall]" Miia murmured, pointing her bow upwards, with the string being pulled taut by her, to which several lights began to be seen in the cloudy sky itself, violently beginning to descend, several of them pointing at the Demon of Wrath, while the other attacks fell on the surroundings of the enemy army, causing enormous explosions and damage.

The monstrous being roared as it opened its mouth, with its fiery maw beginning to ignite… And a moment later, a beam of pure fire shot out with overwhelming and powerful power towards the projectile falling towards him.

The clash of the 'star' and the Demon's breath lasted several seconds, where a blinding light flooded the infernal battlefield while, after a few moments, both attacks exploded at their collision point in a powerful explosion.

Only for the Lord of Wrath to be pushed away by a punch from Echidna.

Not because the Evil Lord isn't tough enough to withstand Echidna's base strength, but because Echidna was such an impressive work of art, he simply had,

In a certain sense, a more than remarkable capacity.

Simply put, his fist was imbued with a spell. [Force Explosion], a level 7 spell.

Although its level was relatively low to be really useful against the Lord of Wrath, added to Echidna's strength, it sent the Demon flying a few meters back, and since he did nothing to stop the push, he was shot like a projectile toward the ground, landing in a heap of earth and rock as he continued to crawl against the floor, crushing Demons to the point that he got between the lines of the Theocracy and Deorum Regnum.

And his aura alone was enough to melt skin, steel and flesh in a cacophony of screams of pain and agony around him, without the Lord of Wrath even noticing... Or well, without even trying.

Making an act of ignoring the weaklings instead of reveling in their suffering, its enormous wings spread and flapped once, propelling him into the air while avoiding an arrow from Miia. It's not like the arrow wasn't fast enough, it's just that the Fairy deliberately delayed both the shot and the speed of it.

He watched as Echidna raised her spear, just as she extended her scale, with Miia drawing her bow, while an arrow began to appear little by little.

Hm, of course, she was planning to throw a attack that was not weak at all, not as strong as a super-level, but that still required casting time. And if making the battle believable was the mission, then they were going to do their best.

The Lord of Wrath really had no intention of doing something like 'avoid dying'. His only goal here was to die after all.

It was not for nothing that as soon as he was summoned, he received the order to follow a performance, although said order was much more detailed, and he was teleported here immediately.

Knowing this, Miia didn't really have to be careful, other than making sure she didn't kill the Lord of Wrath in about 2 or 5 hits. It's not like the Evil Lord is a Mercenary NPC from Titania.

On the contrary, it was a mere temporary summoning, therefore, there was no loss in killing him.

Miia's eternal companion, Echidna, gripped her spear tightly as the Evil Lord approached with his fists covered in raging flames.

Instantly, her spear activated one of the several imbued spells it had, beginning to surround itself with a storm of violent white wind, practically doubling the length of the spear with pure sharp air.

In addition, leaving Miia behind her, Echidna advanced like a ballistic missile towards the Lord of Wrath, ready to clash weapons with him.

And of course, pretending to get hurt.

This was, supposedly, an equal combat between a Komodo 'Demon General' and one of the Deorum Regnum Commanders.

So, Echidna's spear struck its edge against the extremely hard skin of the Lord of Evil, causing a powerful expansion of the air that eliminated the fire from the ground, reducing the atmospheric pressure in the vicinity due to the power of the shock comparable to the explosion of a high-speed missile. power.

Eardrums and lungs burst, as the sheer pressure of said explosion sent soldiers and Demons alike flying.

A storm of infernal flames and sharp wind exploded around the pair of powerful beings, blending into a disturbingly powerful combination of an aerial inferno that formed boiling gashes in some areas of the ground, burning or cutting up those unfortunate ones.

The worst of all was not that, but the fact that this was repeated over and over again as the Demon and Echidna exchanged attacks, destroying the surrounding area and any being too weak that dared to be 'close'.

From a downward attack with her spear, Echidna plunged the Demon one meter underground, leaving him with his knees in the ground, before moving to the left, allowing a powerful arrow to hit the Lord of Wrath's chest, pushing him several meters before causing an explosion considerably larger than the previous one, with fragments of the arrow flying around, exploding and sending more fragments everywhere, creating a stormy cloud of shrapnel, explosions and death in the enemy ranks.

However, the Lord of Wrath suddenly appeared behind Miia.

The Fairy pretended to be surprised, as far as she could express surprise, opening her eyes slightly as the fiery fist of the Demon grabbed her by the neck. There was really no force involved, as the Lord of Wrath wouldn't actually hurt the Commander, but it did seem like he was doing so.

Miia pretended to squirm helplessly in the Demon's grasp, until he let out a roar mixed with a devilish laugh, before covering his fist with fire, one so common and low level that the only thing notable about it was its brightness, and threw the Fairy with a force so great that she shock wave was visible, causing Miia to hit the armor that was approaching at high speed, causing the two to neutralize each other and fall disorganized towards the ocean of Demons.

The Lord of Wrath roared victoriously, before extending a hand downwards, and chanting something.

At that moment, a vortex of fire opened, and low-level Demons began to come out like plagues with fury and desire for blood,

further discouraging the poor soldiers of the Theocracy, who were helpless in the situation of the Lord of Wrath, while they were attacked from the front, and from within by the Demons that sprang from the holes created by the infernal worms that followed alive, sprouting from the earth like hungry sharks and devouring several humans from time to time while crushing others with their large bodies, before burying themselves back into the earth as swarms of Demons emerged from said holes.

Dont look from the castle, it was certainly worrying that Riku and other strong beings were heading towards her with all hostile intentions, but thanks to Black Abyss's incursion as an Adventurer, she now had her within the enemy ranks.

She was worried that Black Abyss was among all those beings... But she knew that she was highly respected and adored by them, which was the factor that mattered most for now, for the sake of the plan... A plan that based much of its effectiveness on a surprise factor...

Dont was looking for quite a few forms, summons and other things that could put her enemies, even Riku, in trouble. She thought about high level summons, but losing the Titania Mercenaries would be problematic... Even if they talked about the possibility of killing Riku in this mission, along with the Black Scripture...

The possibility of bringing another NPC from Titania to perform such a thing also crossed her mind, but she didn't like it at all.

She was already going to put Bachelory and Betelgeuse to fight Riku to weaken him enough so that Achernar could finish him off quickly and effectively, but… It was all based on one thing that she didn't know…

A 'trust me' from Black Abyss...

That which would keep the Black Scripture busy, and perhaps dead. To the Army of Argland, to the Lord Dragon Wyrm, and keeping Riku busy so that Bachelory can fight without disadvantages or too potential dangers against someone of, surely, level 100...

It was a 'Trust~' from Black Abyss... And even with the seriousness of the situation, he wanted to keep it a surprise...

Dont really wanted to know what the plan was. She hated being blind... Especially when her beloved dovey was so... Unpredictable most of the time when it came to plans...

However, if there was one thing Dont would definitely do, it was to trust Black Abyss. There was no reason why the Daemon wouldn't. After all, she already gave her heart with all the trust in the world to the Angel, and she also gave her hers. Therefore, she would respond with the same devotion and blind love to her beloved~

Although well... At least this time she didn't forget her WCI... But she doubted that Blacky's plan was to use the Easter Egg, or that she had found a WCI in her adventures as Titania... But ass he said, there was only one thing left, trust.

Dont approached the window, looking at the reddish soil of this area of the old Re-Estize. The area was empty, that was also part of the plan, because she did know that part of that Black Abyss surprise was going to come underground, but that's the little she told her.

Suddenly, a request for connection was felt in her mind.

"Hm?" She hummed, accepting the message…

("Silly one~") She heard the voice of her beloved on the other side of the communication. ("A Demon buried me 4 meters underground so I don't have much time~") She heard her say, as if she was going to die or something, clearly a joke, despite their situation, always so funny~

(Amore mio~) With nothing but adoration and happiness, Dont mentally responded with a smile plastered on her face, her heart jumping with joy as she heard the precious Angel for the first time in a while.

("Fufu~ Dear, tell me quickly, what is the most powerful creature on the entire planet?") Her question was direct, and quick.

(Am... Several options come to mind... But I imagine you mean HIM~) Dont hummed, leaning on the edge of the window. Almost by reflex she emphasized her hips and chest in search of satisfying the Paladin's view, although since she was not there, there was no point in doing such a show.

("Yep~ So I need you to do something, send him a [Message], tell him to bring them. And surprise~!") The Paladin said, before the communication was cut off. Huh, she must have gotten out of that hole then. Although she wanted to talk to her more… But… That request she made…

"Mm… Okay then~ [Message]." She chanted the spell, and waited for her target to accept the same. "Hadeusdon. Release them in the marked room." She said without much thought, feeling a slight chill just from saying the NPC's name. Such was the power of him.

The room was in complete darkness, except for a faint red light, but whose nature would kill any common creature just by approaching a few kilometers from that light, that light on that throne...

Despite the low light, one could tell that, just by seeing the darkness, there were things, many things moving... Hundreds...

The red light that comprised the eyes of the one sitting on the throne moved, slowly looking at what was moving, making everyone still in an instant, looking back at it, as if waiting for something.

He seemed to nod his head, looking at the creatures.

"Meet the expectations of the Supreme Ladies. And they will reward them by letting them live." The voice of the one on the throne echoed in the gigantic room, as if a cosmic creature had declared from space itself.

The hundreds of bodies in motion, letting out loud high-pitched noises, hitting their paws against the ground, even seeming excited... Like children wanting to fulfill their parents' expectations, no matter what.

Suddenly, dozens of openings opened in space, with those creatures jumping towards them, causing them to close as they entered, only for another one to open to allow one more beast to jump through.

Hadeusdon watched as the room lit up from those red portals again and again for long tens of seconds, until finally everything went out. The creatures had reached the other side.

Fulfilling his given duty, Hadeusdon leaned back against his throne, his light fading again, leaving the entire area calm.
