The Red Rose and The Black Rose

Chapter 65: Chapter 45

The magic circle beneath her feet disappeared, as it seemed like the mana around her took a breath, as if an old person had made a great effort despite her age.

The masked girl covered in a somewhat tattered red cloak sighed as she finished using the ritual she had to resort to after… That event.

She still remembered how, even from the depths of a forest in the north, in the Argland Council, a wall of cursed and murky flames could narrowly be seen rising from where Re-Estize was.

At the time, she almost vomited if it weren't for her tolerance to such biological and psychological conditions as she felt her Mana go crazy. If she were a human, she was sure she would have needed healing spells to repair the damage to her brain and body.

Even Lakyus herself fainted, and she was a user of Divine Magic, not arcane like Evileye.

From then on, the little mage just… Couldn't help but see how the Mana around her worked differently. It was dirty. Corrupted and hurt.

Even regenerating Mana was difficult despite the time that passed.

Evileye along with her, so to speak, friend, Rigrit, had to find a way to do a ritual or something that allows them to recover Mana at a more leisurely pace.

However, this Mana problem was… A critical blow to all magic casters around the world.

Even the smallest Mana regeneration could still be vital in a fight, be it to cast another spell later, escape, protect themselves, anything.

But with that disturbing alteration of the world's Mana, added to the natural cataclysms that happened, like the earth shaking, the days being longer than the nights sometimes, and other times the other way around, regardless of the season, that it suddenly snows in summer or that the Demihumans in Argland, for example, have felt so primitively deformed, that a civil war almost started if it weren't for the Dragon Lords.

After all, the Bull Men out of nowhere began to eat the Werewolves with carnivorous voracity, only to, as suddenly as they started, stop and look confused as to why they were eating their former companions like carnivorous and wild beasts.

And this didn't just happen with the Demihumans, with animals and even plants too. Much worse with monsters.

Simply... What happened in the Katze Plains...?

Evileye knew that the cause of the entire global cataclysm was there, because Rigrit had told her so. But even she doesn't know what happened…

She says that the Platinum Dragon Lord refuses to let her tell her…

The Vampire could only grumble at the memory. She hated not being told something so important… But there was nothing she could do about it other than swallow her annoyance…

However, what she did know and could assume, despite admitting that she wasn't that bright, although she wasn't behind any of her companions, was that the Komodo Demon was behind all of this.

Why else did Re-Estize disappear in evil flames and go on to become the 'Demon Empire'?

It was just plain obvious…

Luckily for her, or rather, for Lakyus, the leader of the Blue Roses, Princess Renner, Climb, Brain, and even Rampossa III had somehow survived the war in Katze.

It didn't make sense. None of the explanations they gave. Renner was kidnapped by Demons just minutes after Katze was destroyed, though they were able to rescue her in the Holy Kingdom.

And Rampossa, Climb, and Brain appeared in a border town of Re-Estize that, for some reason, wasn't burned, Carne.

She wasn't very well versed or interested in politics, having only heard from Lakyus, who ended up losing any real political influence in the face of the absolute destruction of her family except for her uncle, who as usual, spent his time in Argland, as well as home and literal country, that the few survivors of Re-Estize were settled in the capital of Deorum Regnum, their former enemy… How did Lakyus know such a thing despite the loss of her reputation as a noble's daughter? Well, she still held her rank as an adamantite adventurer, and had a deep friendly connection with the princess.

Whatever…

"Oi, shorty. Did you finish summoning the forces of nature or something?" Gagaran's hoarse and somewhat amused voice irritated the magic caster a little.

"Yes. I was told that they were thinking of removing your brain, but that they were sad to see that you only have one more bicep there instead of said organ." She replied scathingly. She wasn't really upset, but that was the relationship between the two.

They didn't hate each other, not in the least. It was just a rather crude friendship, but good.

"Hm~ Of course they needed my brain~ They have nothing of value to take from yours~" The muscular woman replied mockingly and amused.

They were currently in a 5-star inn in Argland.

Normally, they would spend their time in Re-Estize, but it was obvious why they couldn't go back there.

She didn't think that the Devils would even be interested in building inns even in the most 'fun' of cases.

And going to Deorum Regnum, at least for the moment, was a big 'no', except for Lakyus and Evileye.

Although that was only because Lakyus still wanted to visit Renner. On the other hand, it greatly surprised the Vampiress that the capital of Deorum Regnum simply wasn't a point to go to… That is to say, teleportation didn't work to go to the capital. She could go close, but they still had to walk a while to get there…

It was the same with several other cities. Not all of them, but several.

It was partly worrying, partly surprising, among other things that really made her think different things about Deorum Regnum, but in conclusion, she wanted to spend as little time as possible there.

Especially since it was, evidently, a 'holy' nation, similar to the Holy Kingdom, although much more receptive to non-humans. But she wasn't going to trust that Deorum Regnum has Elves, Dwarves and some Demihumans that they would accept an Undead.

Especially since she heard that Remedios and Kelart Custodio joined the ranks of Deorum Regnum…

She didn't know the whole story, but just hearing that was enough to remove Deorum Regnum from her tourist destinations.

"Tia, Tina, anything to say?" She asked absentmindedly towards the assassin-, ahem, right, 'Thieves' sisters.

"We got an orichalcum rank quest." Tia said.

"It's about Demons again." Tina continued.

"Ha… I'm getting bored of hunting Demons…" Gagaran sighed.

Unfortunately for Evileye, she had to agree.

She had even started developing some sort of new spell just to deal with Demons.

Sure, she was sure it wouldn't be as useful as a divine spell, but some extra countermeasures didn't hurt either.

"We still need the funds. We can't subsist on that old lady's kindness." Evileye argued. She didn't really want to keep killing Demons, but it was just the same old thing, killing monsters after all. And she hated relying on the founder of Blue Roses even more.

"We tried to find an Adamantite-ranked quest, but there was almost nothing." Auntie exclaimed.

"The Paladin is clearing out the strong stuff, and not even for pay." Tina elaborated.

"Even here? Ha… Sometimes it's annoying that there are such strong people… I'm starting to understand the weaker adventurers." The sorceress sighed.

It wasn't like she was denying the legendary Komodo hunter, Titania, the right to do her thing. She had to admit that, despite everything, she was a good and upright person who even dealt with Demons just for the sake of protecting people, without seeking compensation.

Likewise, she was sure that Titania was much better qualified to hunt Demons than the Blue Roses, because while Lakyus was also a kind of Paladin, she was not specialized enough in divine magic to match Titania in Demon hunting.

Besides, Titania's strength was just… Something else.

She reminded her of the leader of the Great Heroes, and a couple more beings… And she still had the theory that Titania was probably the descendant of 'those beings'.

Whatever the case, it was still… Somewhat annoying to have their jobs taken away from them.

After all, while eliminating dangerous monsters was appreciated, they were still adventurers, and they needed monsters to be around in order to make money.

Demon missions entering Argland's borders were common. Thankfully, nothing as legendary as armored Demons or something. Mere Hellhounds, Imps, and occasionally a powerful Devil.

However, even a professional could start to get tired of doing the same thing every day. Especially when magic casters, like Evileye, had to rely on external sources of Mana to properly recover, or wait at least 10 times longer to recover their Mana.

Still, she was pretty sure that complaining about something like that was for nothing. She wasn't the only one in that state, all magic users were the same, and even worse. She remembered news of landslides and other kinds of disasters that occurred in various kingdoms around as a result of that explosion in Re-Estize… So well… She could only lower her head and wait for her to recover without further ado.

Still, the way things were going, the recovery of the state of Mana throughout the world would take at least a few decades… If not centuries.

Therefore, the magical development of all living beings, perhaps not counting the True Dragon Lords, was stopped in an impressive way.

She hoped that one of said Dragon Lords would do something about it… But it was not in her power to even influence such a thing… Or well, maybe she could, if she talked to Rigrit, but she was not going to do something like that.

"Mm… On the other hand… The invasion of the Demon Empire will be soon…" She recalled… According to what she knew, it was a joint operation between several kingdoms, even Renner was going to contribute with her knowledge and perhaps the best warrior she has, Brain Unglaus. But supposedly even the Theocracy and the Dragon Lords were going to participate to some extent, what she did know was that, having the largest border, Deorum Regnum was going to show its true power during that invasion, they would even send her to Titania…

In fact, Rigrit had said that it was possible that they would need the Blue Roses… It would be stupid not to consider the help of adamantite-ranked adventurers after all…

However, Lakyus did not want to endanger her group, therefore…

Although Evileye did not really feel like risking her life constantly there, she could not ignore the threat of the Demons either…

It would simply be letting a cancer pass and let it develop instead of dealing with it in one fell swoop. "Do you think so much with just one brain cell, or maybe it takes too long to process information?" Gagaran asked playfully, snapping her out of her thoughts.

"Mm? Excuse me, I know that even the idea of having more than half a brain cell is hard for you to understand, but we adults are chatting here." Evileye hummed indifferently. "Anyway, go and tell Lakyus about said mission. It would be a waste not to take advantage of it." She said towards the 'Thieves'.

"Ah, she's dealing with her sword…" Tia said scratching her little head.

At this, the rest of the women present fell silent.

"Hm… It seems that her sword is causing her a lot of trouble lately, huh…" Gagaran muttered seriously…

"Perhaps Rigrit knows something to limit the problems of it if they are so serious… Perhaps the presence of the Demons caused the sword to go out of control?" Evileye muttered, somewhat worried.

"It could be… I once found her trying to resist a certain 'evil impulse' that the sword wanted to give her… She seemed nervous when I came to help her, but it seems she can control it well…" Gagaran exclaimed thoughtfully.

"The evil leader must deal with her evil impulses." Tia nodded.

"Otherwise she will become more evil." Tina nodded in response.

A droplet fell down Evileye's forehead, but there was nothing to do but wish the leader luck…

The Demon Queen of none other than Titania, watched in silence as the 7 Evil Lords, Mercenary NPCs of level 80 and above, came straight from Titania.

She was a bit worried about having them here, as there weren't many Evil Lords in the Palace, although they did have plenty of 'contracts' from said Mercenary NPCs, but that required a loss of gold.

But considering that she was here, the rest of the 'Demon Army', along with Betelgeuse and Bachelory himself in the form of Ghøst, capable of summoning other Evil Lords, only even stronger due to class bonuses, it was viable to have them as a sort of 'guardians' that could be removed in the worst case scenario from the castle.

Even though they were around level 80, they were still capable of fighting 1 on 1 against a level 100 Player. Not winning, but stopping them for a moment, and even forcing them to spend some Mana or skills to kill them without much trouble, and things got more complicated the more Evil Lords faced that single Player. After all, while a group of level 80 Players still had little chance of defeating a level 100, the Evil Lords were specially designed by the Developers to even be able to defeat a level 100, with some luck, of course, and mainly if they came in 3 or 4.

And since there were a total of 7, between them, they could even win against one or two level 100 Players. Maybe even without casualties if they were lucky, well, very lucky. But it's not like Dont wasn't going to send reinforcements so that the Evil Lords directly from Titania couldn't escape or win as soon as he found out that they entered combat. Whatever the case…

"Mm… Black Abyss gave valuable information about Riku and the Black Scripture Captain's capabilities when I went to visit her today." Dont muttered, blushing slightly at the memory of her 'reunion' with her precious dove~ It wasn't part of the plan, but the Paladin was so insistent that Dont couldn't do anything but give in~ "Ahem. They're able to deal with even a level 60 Demon without much trouble… Not counting the rest of the small demonic army summoned with [Order Mid Demon Army] and [Summon Mid Demon Army]… It wasn't a loss, since they were all non-permanent Demons, but it still shows that the Black Scripture Captain should at least be level 70 to 80… Therefore, he should even be able to fight on equal terms against a single one of you if we estimate generally speaking… That being said, I don't want any of you to find yourself alone. I'll put together teams of two for each, and whoever's left will be constantly with Betelgeuse." She hummed as she thought of an appropriate strategy. After all, they were going to be attacked by literally an army from 3 different countries before long, including the power of 'Titania', or rather, Black Abyss's performance in destroying a few low-level time summons. It's not like she was actually going to deploy Titania's Mercenaries to the battlefield, but rather she would have them mostly to prevent any real attacks on her person. More than anything, they would deploy Evil Lords summoned by Bachelory. Either way, having Titania's Evil Lords around her relieved her considerably, as they were still level 80 NPCs, and it would be very easy to spot if they attacked one. Likewise, there was also dealing with the Captain of the Black Scripture, the trump card of the Theocracy as far as Black Abyss could report when he went to their headquarters, only after some kind of rare Half-Elf, and that wretched Riku, who for some reason, was affiliated with the Argland Council, and thus, the Dragon Lords of said council, which numbered 5.

Speaking of said Dragon Lords, the Wyrm Dragon Lord was going to participate in the invasion, as well as a few 'relatively' strong entities, namely Brain Unglaus, Azuth Aindra, and a few others.

Actually, the only real threat that came with the invasion was Riku, the Wyrm Dragon Lord, and the Black Scripture. And even then, after Black Abyss personally assessed the Black Scripture's strength, they shouldn't be a threat to any level 100s. And Titania had several level 100s, with which they could easily overwhelm Riku, even if he himself was level 100.

Likewise, she was dealing with, basically, a siege of her guild. Or well, not really, but they were entering 'her' territory, which was prepared for quite some time for this moment.

Sure, a proper siege of level 100 Players could easily ignore the traps and low and mid-level Demons that inhabited the Demon Empire, while mines made of metal plates imbued with [Explosion] that would respond to remote commands based on a, more or less, [Message], so to speak, like C4, would be nothing more than minor annoyances to a level 100 Player.

At most, they could apply the Blind and Deaf debuff that the explosion applied to them if they were in the center of it, and push them away for a while.

Likewise, even an entire army of level 60 Demons couldn't really take on even a well-built level 80 Player.

Unless, of course, it was an entire army of Infernal Protectors, and something like a DPS dealt massive area damage. That way, it might be possible to kill one of the Players.

But I doubted there were any level 100 Players stupid enough to deal like that against a massive amount of Demons that, despite being paper thin for their level, returned 15% of the damage received.

Whatever the case, this invasion was meant to eliminate the Komodo problem once and for all.

Of course, they weren't going to kill Dont. Instead, they were going to 'kill' Komodo, thus freeing Titania from having Komodo's existence in mind.

Alternatively, they could always excuse some operation of theirs as 'remnants of Komodo', in the form of 'followers', as Betelgeuse presented himself, or survivors of the Demon Empire.

That way, it would explain if Betelgeuse appeared out of nowhere against a creature that threatened Deorum Regnum, accompanied by a demonic army, with the excuse that, exactly at that moment, Komodo's follower wanted to attack.

That is to say, even when they finally finished with the Komodo problem, they would always have excuses to explain things that the Supremes did.

Likewise, this would strengthen Deorum Regnum's position in the world.

There were still questions about what to do with the Re-Estize territory once 'Komodo dies' and the Demon Empire dissolves, but those were things that the Black Abyss and Dont of the future would deal with.

"It will be done, Your Majesty." Betelgeuse hummed with a bow, while the Evil Lords bowed their heads, already kneeling in front of her.

"Umu. "I'm glad it is so~" The Demon Queen hummed in satisfaction, smiling widely as everything went as it should.

At least for now.

"Well. With that said and your duties given respectively, Bachel- Ahem, Crimea and I will go summon other servants to prepare for the arrival of the invaders. The rest of you have your duties already said. Isn't that right?" She said as she stood up from her throne, making sure she had her little dress nice and snug.

"Indeed, Your Majesty." Betelgeuse nodded. "You have been instructing us fruitfully for a few hours now, and we hope with all our being to be able to carry out your instructions as best as possible."

"Well~ In that case… Wah… Was I talking for so long…? A-Ahem." Clearing her throat, Dont composed herself. "Crimea." She called out to Bachelory with her friend's body. "Let's go to the Death Pit~"

"Of course~ Your Majesty~" The elegant and unfortunately handsome purple Demon bowed, with his ever-rebellious and mischievous smile, as if he was planning to do something at any moment… At least that would be the case if it weren't for the mask he had on. Dont could afford to take it off, as supposedly, Komodo could take the appearance of 'Nyx'.

With that said, Bachelory began to follow Dont, as Macuin Thunder began to walk following the Doppelgänger, who had been standing behind Bachelory in respectful silence, with the Demon Queen quickly exiting the throne room, still holding back the sigh of relief at being able to get away from so many gazes.

Of course, she was more than used to it by this point. However, it didn't make it any less tiring. Especially when she was talking for hours…

As soon as she stepped out of the door, no one but Haagenti, the Demon maid all pretty and happy to see her Lady, greeting her with a bow and a smile.

She patted her on the head, before continuing to walk, with the duo of Demon Queen Guards guarding the throne room leaving their posts, and beginning to escort Dont as was their duty.

Wah… She stepped out of the spotlight of many people to once again be the spotlight of more people… Oh well.

Trying to take her attention away from the Demons, and the Dragonoid, and the one who was technically a Demon but wasn't, Dont paid attention to the architecture of Sheol Castle.

Sure, she'd seen it a thousand and one times in the days she was here.

The architecture, as expected from the royal castle of the Komodo Demon Empire, was of dark stone, following a gothic architecture with mixes of greys, reds, and blacks.

Very edgy, but all of Re-Estize became 'edgy' after Jaldabaoth's flames died down…

After all, the earth, the sand, the rock turned into black, barren ashes, turning the vast environmental diversity of Re-Estize into a black desert.

Nothing could grow on this land without the help of druid magic, or if said plants were none other than demonic plants, which had begun to grow here and there in the form of murky trees that bled and screamed with 'fruits' that seemed to be more like hanged people than fruits of any kind.

Likewise, the smoke released by the cursed flames of the Outer God firmly covered everything that was the target of its fire in thick red clouds, which let in the sunlight, but attenuated and dyed scarlet red.

It was curious, because such clouds were limited only to what was the territory of Re-Estize in geopolitical terms. It literally did not advance one centimeter more, nor one less.

Therefore, in combination with all this, the castle did not look out of place, in fact, it was the only thing that would aesthetically match the environment.

Be that as it may, it was still something massively large for a castle. It should take up at least half of the entire former capital of Re-Estize. It was basically a giant labyrinth filled with Demons and traps. Practically a dungeon~

Regardless of that, to get to the 'Death Pit', one simply had to go down a set of stairs not far from the throne room.

Why was it called a death pit? Well, what else would you call a place where 'death things' was dumped?

And by death things, one was referring to the garbage that was left scattered all over Re-Estize in the form of the skeletons of everything that was affected by the cursed flames. Be it humans, Demi-Humans, monsters, and so on.

While normally, such a vastness of millions of corpses, far surpassing Baharuth, would have been used as a source of experience… Unfortunately for Dont and Black Abyss, such corpses did not seem to be able to consume their souls… Jaldabaoth must have done something very shady to these people…

On the other hand, the bodies could only be used in two ways. One, turn them into Undead, or two, into Demons.

Simple as that. Not much more, not much less.

Fortunately for Dont and company, the Demons created with these corpses, saturated with negative energy, possessed statistical bonuses… Quite impressive, going so far as to turn an Infernal Protector into a level 40 creature. It was not a really big difference comparatively for high levels, but it was still something.

Even one more grain of sand could break a dam.

Likewise, it would be a waste not to take advantage of these corpses anyway.

She checked the number of daily summons she had. She did some calculations, and nodded to herself as she made up her mind.

"Alright, Crimea, we're going to summon Demons above level 60." She hummed contentedly as they began to descend the dark spiral staircase leading to the Death Pit.

"Quick, I need the cream and chocolate now." The Princess Miko, who was actually a Cat Girl, Mishirifus, exclaimed seriously to the maids who quickly, but efficiently, finished what was ordered, putting the cream in a white bowl, and the chocolate in another one, to which Mishirifus took the products and walked out of the second kitchen, quickly going to the other room, the main kitchen.

There were several lycanthrope, fox, and other race maids standing at the side of the kitchen, waiting for orders in their oriental maid outfits.

"Toruta Arugentina?" Saku heard the tall woman in white, with a black apron, ask, who cut out some square pieces of pastry dough.

"That's right~ Fufu~ It's something I saw many times before coming here, but I never got to try it, it was very… Expensive to make and get, let's say… But here I can make it without problems because of the ingredients~" Black Abyss explained to the Mikon, while the two Kitsune sisters next to Saku looked on, with their little ears perked up.

"Supreme~ The cream and chocolate you asked for is ready~" Mishirifus exclaimed, catching Abyss's attention, who turned around with a bright smile.

"Perfect~ Leave it here~" She exclaimed, tapping the side of the table.

"Yes~" Happy to have made the Supreme smile, she left the ingredients on the table, looking at the pastry dough that Black Abyss was stretching out.

It was a very pleasant surprise when Mishirifus opened the door to her room and saw the Supreme. She clearly asked her to come in, and asked what she was doing so far east of Titania.

She was surprised when she learned that since Black Abyss was on break before the important event in the Demon Realm, she wanted to cook something from her old homeland.

Toruta Arugentiruna… Or something like that, she didn't recognize the name when she told her…

She asked why she didn't ask Mariana Fosa, or Manjar de Pan to cook such a dish for her, but since it was the time when the maids were in the dining room, they would surely be busy cooking for them.

Of course, if Black Abyss asked, any cook from Titania would leave their duties and cook exclusively for her for as long as necessary, no matter what. But Black Abyss didn't seem to have any interest in leaving the maids without top-notch food, and according to her, it was still an experiment she was trying.

"Good~" The Supreme exclaimed looking at the several square layers of dough she made, looking towards the 3 Mikos. "Now~ Saku will put the chocolate chips~ Mikon will put the cream~ And Amasu will put the chocolate~ " She exclaimed, with the tails of the 2 Kitsunes moving from side to side.

"""Y-Yes!""" The three said bowing, while Black Abyss walked to the side, leaning against the wall, next to Mishirifus, who froze, and then almost melted when she felt Black Abyss's hand caressing her cat ears.

The Supreme scratched her ears for a few seconds, where Mishirifus purred loudly and held back with all her willpower from fussing against Black Abyss, still, the Supreme's pats and scratches stopped, with the latter asking.

"By the way~ How is the B.A.F.W. project going~?" She asked, the kitten having her ears perk up as she stood up straight.

"Ah. Mm… It's actually going very well, Supreme~" She said, puffing out her chest. "With the knowledge about the Animal Kingdom between Lord Bachelory, Lady Superbia, the rest of the project managers and I, Titania's great technology, and the very special blood samples that the Supremes gave us, I'm very sure that the B.A.F.W.s will be terrifying creatures for Titania's enemies~" She explained, with a wide smile. "What's more~ I myself have seen the birth of the first B.A.F.W. Queen~ We made a special report for that, but since Supreme Dont-Say-My-Name isn't on Titania, and you're here, then you probably haven't heard about it yet… But I'll tell you everything since I have the honor of being present in front of you~" Mishirifus said with her tail going from side to side, shining brightly.

"Hehe~ Alright~ Tell me~" Black Abyss said, touched by the kitten's excitement.

"You see~ The M.U.T.O. blood samples that were given to us were of great help, in fact, it is the foundation of the B.A.F.W.~ Therefore, the newborn Queen shows enormous physical strength thanks to that heritage~ With the ability to adapt to any environment and feed on all kinds of radiation and bodies~ In addition to having a great affinity to kill Dragons and Reptile-type creatures~" The kitten explained, shining with pride.

"I see… It certainly sounds powerful… The M.U.T.O.'s capabilities are very special, they have great value thanks to the presence of the Dragon Lords, so losing a M.U.T.O. would be catastrophic, still, an animal with these capabilities that can bother and possibly harm a Dragon Lord is certainly good~ What is the estimated level of the B.A.F.W. Queen~?" The Paladin asked interestedly.

"The Queen has an estimated level of 68~ Though with her levels spread across her race only~" Mishirifus explained, seeing Black Abyss almost freeze with a smirk.

"… 68 you say…?" She asked with a droplet on her forehead.

"I-Is that too low…?" The kitten blurted out almost fearfully, seeing Black Abyss shake her head.

"N-No no…~ It's more than I expected…~ I guess it's because of… 'That'…" She exclaimed, with Mishirifus sighing in relief, before nodding her head.

"Yes~ I must admit that the Dark Dragon's blood was a huge booster for the B.A.F.W.~ Not only did it enhance the biology mixed with that of the M.U.T.O., but it added extreme adaptability to harsh conditions, even strong nighttime camouflage and low-level manipulation of its own body~ It also added a metallic defensive layer on top of the Queen's skin, which we doubt happens in ordinary males and females, but it is a great implement~" She explained again proudly, with Black Abyss nodding in interest at that.

"That's very good… I need the B.A.F.W. to be able to reproduce faster than an ordinary living being, they would be of no use to me if I have to wait years to have several of these adult weapons." The Supreme One exclaimed.

"Don't worry, Supreme~ The Fairies thought you would want such a thing, so they modified the DNA of the M.U.T.O and the Dark Dragon as best as possible in order to add the DNA of the Fairies~" The cat-like Lycanthrope hummed, trying to ignore how Amasu and Mikon were tangled in a fight over a piece of chocolate on the side.

Black Abyss was surprised at this… Dont had given this new creature a name, Biological Adaptive Fae Weapon, but he didn't think that the Fairies would so directly take the name and add their own genetic code to that thing… But… If they really could reproduce like the Fairies, then it would mean that in just a few days, one of these monsters could reach its adult stage, it wouldn't suffer from diseases, it would also have passive magic resistances and even… Maybe it could adapt and learn magic like the Fairies…

Or well, maybe she was also underestimating the genetic potential a lot…

"Very well…" The Supreme nodded, Mishirifus beaming with pride.

The B.A.F.W. were a project she had thought about ever since she fought the Dark Dragon alongside Bulldoger. Despite almost being a 'Dragon Slayer', at least in title, she almost died that day, and the creature's harrowing magic caused her enormous damage that lasted for weeks… But not only did she suffer that, but Bulldoger did too, and that was what bothered her the most, that because of her, one of her faithful commanders had received such damage…

Therefore, she recalled her summons, but her Angels weren't really strong, and they wouldn't serve to weaken a level 100 creature, nor would they even bother it. Even if she used mass defensive summons like Dont. While the Infernal Protectors could at least force the enemy to be careful not to accidentally damage them so as not to receive 15% of such damage, the equivalent defensive summons of the Angels only applied defensive buffs and a little area healing to allies… Pretty useless, since a single mid-level buff from Black Abyss outweighed half a hundred of said dead Angels.

Still… What would happen if she made thousands and thousands of creatures of a higher level than her summons? And not only that, but she didn't need to spend any Mana or data, or any paid or single-use item for that.

That was the mystery she tried to solve for so long, until one day she remembered that Dragon on a dark night…

She asked Alice to take her to that place, and searching everywhere for anything, she found a black rock, stained with the dried blood of that creature. That day such an idea occurred to her, which she proposed to Dont. She seemed somewhat reluctant to experiment with the Dragon Lord's blood, and somehow end up resurrecting it. But she ended up convincing her by telling her that they would make a special laboratory for this work, one deep within Titania, where any individual creature, regardless of level, would die instantly if it dared not obey Titania unquestioningly.

After all, deep within Titania slept the M.U.T.O.s, feeding on the constant radiation of the most powerful and dangerous creature in all of Titania, Hadeusdon.

If the Deep Darkness Dragon Lord dared to resurrect with 100 levels for some reason, it would last a few minutes, if not tens of seconds. The M.U.T.O.s were extremely effective against Dragons, so much so that 1 M.U.T.O. A level 95 Dragon could take down a level 100 Dragon despite the huge level difference, as they not only did colossal damage to Dragons, but were more resistant to them and the males' pulses could inhibit the winged lizards' breath. In short, they were true Dragon Slayers.

But the M.U.T.O.s were not the greatest danger, but Hadeusdon, the most powerful NPC in all of Titania, who waited at the bottom of Titania, a creature of such colossal power, that it could kill Black Abyss and Bulldoger in a matter of minutes, if not seconds. And not only that, but not even World Items would affect him, and the 4 Towers of Titania would increase his power ridiculously once it left the top floor of Titania. Although to activate him, several things had to be done, such as using the Guild's weapon in the process.

There was no way for anything to survive such a defense, so the laboratory at the bottom of Titania was, in fact, the safest place on Titania. Of course, that was without counting the radiation emitted by Hadeusdon. And although the M.U.T.O.s fed on this radiation, it was still very strong, so the Science Fairies had to be enhanced with magic so that they would not have problems with these effects.

Thus… Using the meat from human farms and other animals to mold it and create the B.A.F.W.s, Titania would have… An unlimited army of monsters of a very decent average level, one that could adapt, climb, swim, fly, and most importantly, follow any kind of order.

Black Abyss smiled, she had to tell Dont about this later.

"Supreme~ It's ready~" She heard Mikon say, seeing that they finished assembling the pancake~

Well, she would cook this first~
