Alicia's POV

I have been walking for almost hours. I didn't know which Pack territory I was in. I kept on walking it was almost 10 pm. I then felt very heavy. I started to feel pain in my body, and my bones started cracking. I'm shifting. I'm getting my wolf. As I was shifting, I heard a voice in my head. It was my wolf it said,

*Hey, don't panic, it's me, your wolf. I'm Rain.*

I was so happy Emily was right. I have a wolf.

Alicia,*You are my wolf?*

Rain,*Yes, I'm your wolf. You are getting your wolf form now, and you have to shift to finish the process. Just imagine yourself in a wolf form.*

Alicia,*I'm scared I'm in pain.*

Rain,*I know u got this. You can do it, I know.*

I then imagined myself in a wolf form. I then felt my bones cracking, and I was shifting. I felt enormous, and powerful.

Rain,*Go to the pond and look at your reflection.*

I then walked to the nearby pond. She saw her wolf form a relfection she had white fur that was shining with diamonds. The eyes were glowing blue.

Alicia,*I have never seen a wolf like this. I thought they went extinct.*

Rain,*Yes, we did go extinct, but after 100 million years, we are reborn again. I'm sorry to suck out the fun, but u have to shift back. I am sensing someone coming in our direction. It is also the same process, but you have to imagine yourself in a human form.*

I did exactly what Rain said, and I shifted back. Everytime I shift back to my human form im not like other wolfs which will me naked i had an outfit on that was different a white dress that is almost mini and touches my skin. I tried to hide only to be caught by 3 werewolves. They looked like they were the highest-ranking wolves from the pack.

The one in the middle was bigger than every wolf. He seemed to be the Alpha of this pack. I felt some connection with him it's like I knew him, but I don't remember where I knew him from. Two of them shifted and went behind the tree to get clothes to change while the other one watched me. The other two came back. The first guy had Black hair with green eyes while the other one who looked like the Alpha had blonde hair with blue eyes he looked a lot like me he looked like me. I was shocked he was even shocked when he saw me.

Jonathan,' Who are you? What are you doing In our pack?'

Alicia,' I'm Alicia. I ran away from my pack cause I was bullied by my whole pack. '

Both the guys looked at each other it seemed like they were speaking through the mindlink. Then the one with blonde hair introduced himself and the others and said,

Jonathan, 'I'm Jonathan Brimxton the future Alpha of the Emerald Pack next to me is Ethan my Beta and the one in a wolf form is Sean my Delta. What pack are you from?'

Alicia,' I am from the Blackwood Pack.'

Ethan and Jonathan looked at each other, shocked it looked like they were considering offering her to join the pack.

Jonathan,' You can join our pack. That's if you want to join, but first, we have to take you to the pack house to go through some screening.'

We were then headed to the pack house which took hours and we had to walk since I didn't want to shift at all. Since I am tired from getting my form. The walk was very quiet and silent, then Sean the Delta, and decided to break the ice.

Sean,' So tell us Alicia, do your parents know you are here?'

How do I even tell them that I don't know my parents and that I'm an orphan, maybe I should be honest with them?

Alicia,' I'm an orphan. I don't know my parents. I was found in the woods when I was 3 years old. The only thing I have, which is from them, was a pendant engraved with 'S' on it. I feel like they abandoned me.'

Suddenly, everyone stopped as I was explaining everything, and they seemed petrified about what I said.

Jonathan,' Did you say you were found when you were 3 years old? And you have a pendant?'

Alicia,' Yes, I did say that.'

Jonathan immediately came close to me and hugged me. I was so confused about what was happening. Why is he even hugging me?

Jonathan,' I knew it was you. I felt that I sensed this strong bond with you. Mom and Dad are gonna be happy when they see you.'

I was so confused about what was happening. I had to ask him. I thought this was a joke.

Alicia, 'What do you mean I don't understand.'

Jonathan,' Okay it is a long story but what happened is I once lost a younger sister she went on a walk with a nanny in the woods only for the Rouges to attack. The nanny was found dead, but you were nowhere to be found. We looked for you till we ended up presuming you were dead. The pendant you have was a gift from our parents engraved with 'S', which is the first letter of your name, which is Skylar.'

I was so shocked by what was happening that I felt so emotional I wanted to cry after so long I had been looking for my family only to find that I was from the Alpha family like my Dad is an Alpha of the pack and my Mom is a Luna. Let alone I have a big brother who is a soon-to-be Alpha.

Alicia,' But they won't like me. I'm broken.'

Jonathan, 'Skylar, don't say that you are not broken. Our parents will be very happy to see you. Please don't stress. '

We then continued walking. As we were in the forest, I started seeing the lights that lit up the pack house. The packed house was enormous with big words written on the gate Emerald Pack. Damn, I can't believe I am from a most powerful pack, let alone this packs Alpha and Luna, own the Pack Council, which has 5 packs with Blackwood Pack ranking second which is the pack I come from. As far as I know, this is the strongest pack I think I'm gonna love it here.

Damon's POV

It has been hours since we have been looking nothing was found. The only thing they found was her blood near the border, meaning it might be possible she was attacked by the Rouges. But how cause she want to commit suicide or did she go to the border on purpose to get killed by the Rouges?

I feel so helpless now that I can't believe I lost her due to my reckless behavior. I want to tell my parents, but I know they won't forgive me for rejecting her, let alone I am the cause of her death. Everyone was sitting my parents were there the Orphanage matron was also there not to mention Alicia's best friend Emily was there. Steve enters the lounge.

Steve, "We searched everywhere, Alpha. We can't find a thing. There is no sign of her. It looks like she was killed by the Rouges"

Emily started crying so loud and shouted at Damon.

Emily,' You are the reason she killed herself you and everyone did this. YOU KILLED HER!'

I felt like I was losing my mind. It couldn't be. Alicia is not dead it can't be my mate.

Damon, "It can't be. No! Alicia is not dead"

Steve then looks down to confirm the news I felt my whole world fall apart I lost my person just because I was very selfish and I was scared to lose her. Now she is gone, she left me.

Damon,' I can lose her, not my mate. Not my Alicia. I'm so sorry, Alicia. I rejected you. I didn't mean it. I was scared people were going to judge me. That I have a broken mate'

Everyone from my pack looked at me, shocked they couldn't believe she was my mate, let alone that I rejected her.

Alpha Michael, 'What do you do you mean when you say you didn't mean to reject her? Answer me, Damon! What do you mean? So you are the cause of this. You made her like this. She killed herself because of you. From now on, you are the one to blame for her death. As her mate, you were supposed to protect her.'

Damon,' Dad, I thought y'all were gonna reject her since she doesn't have a wolf.'

Apha Arthur, 'That's not how we do things around here it doesn't change the fact that she is your Luna. Are you happy now that you no longer have a Luna? I even feel ashamed of calling you my son. I thought you were a grown up and a responsible man, but it seems like I was wrong. You are still a boy. I'm disappointed in you."

My mom couldn't even say a thing to me. Let alone try to defend me. She didn't. That's when I knew whatever I did was horrible, and I deserved every suffering or punishment I would get from the Moon Goddess. I just decided to walk out, and then I let Dante out as I ran to the woods howling, hoping to maybe come across Alicia. But she was never there. I felt her in my heart part of me believed that she was still alive and breathing.

Steve tried so hard to try and mind-link me to know about my whereabouts since it is not safe to go to the woods, especially around this time, it is not safe. I ran until I reached the end of the border. I then howled as Dante let all our pain out as a sign of mourning for my mate's death. I regret the choice I made.

Alicia's POV

I was very nervous. I was going to meet my parents. I didn't even know how they were going to act around me cause they last saw me when I was 3 years old. Will they accept me for who I am? Or maybe they will just abandon me. I was then distracted by Ethan talking.

Ethan,' You know we can hear your thoughts. Didn't you block your mind link from everyone?'

Alicia,' I don't know how to I recently got my wolf'

Jonathan,' Wait, you recently got your wolf-like at 18 years old.'

Alicia,' Yes, I didn't get my wolf when I was 16 years old, that is why I was bullied.'

Everyone was confused when I explained it.

Jonathan,' That is rare it is my first time hearing this.'

As we were walking, we were then reaching for the door as they opened the door. Everyone was inside the lounge. It was like everyone was notified of what was happening. Everyone went quiet.

Alpha Jason,' Son, Who is this young lady as she smells nor from this clan but from the Blackwood Pack?'

Jonathan,' This is the girl I was telling you about this is Skylar. We found her in the woods.'

The parents were shocked at what Nathan said.

Luna Emelda,' You mean Skylar, my daughter?'

Jonathan, 'Yes, mom.'
