The Mate's Revenge

Alicia's POV

As I try to get out of his grip, he pulls me closer to him harder. As he grabs my waist I felt butterflies running down my spine.

'Damon, please let me go. You are hurting me!'

Said Alicia in a squealing voice as she was scared of Damon, who suddenly pinned her as his eyes turned even darker and darker.

Damon,' Stop moving. Otherwise, I won't hesitate to break your bones in a split second!'.

After I heard those words, I stopped moving as I felt the butterflies running down my spine. It can't be that Damon, the future Alpha of the Blackwood pack is my mate. He then looked at me straight in my eyes and said,

'What is your full name?',

I was so happy that finally I found my mate and that he would accept me for who I am, so I told him my name even though I don't have the last name since I don't know my parents.

Alicia,' I'm Alicia.'

Damon stared at me for a split second, and then he said,

'I Damon Sébastien King reject Alicia as my mate.'

I felt like my world was falling apart. How could he do something like this to me? Is it because I'm wolfless? Is it because I'm not that pretty? As I felt my cheeks heating up I felt the tears roll down my cheek. As I had all these questions on my mind,

'Why are you rejecting me? I'm your mate!'

He just looked at me and started smirking at me. It was like I was a joke to him.

Damon, 'Out of all the people I would mate with you think I will accept you as my mate? You don't have a wolf you are not even compatible to be the Luna of this pack. You will never be my mate!'.

As I felt the last words echo in my mind, I knew then that I would never be good enough for him. I then stopped crying. I vowed that I would never shed a tear for a man. I then sternly said,

'I Alicia accept Damon Sébastien Kings' rejection, and I will make you regret rejecting me. That's a promise I'm not only making to myself but to the Moon Goddess. '

I didn't give him a chance to respond. I then pushed him away from me. He was shocked at how I accepted it so easily. I walked away until I got out of school. I started feeling sharp pain in my heart as I ran to the Orphanage House. My mate betrayed me out of all people my mate rejected me. I left a letter for my friend written,

" Dear Emily I'm sorry for leaving you so early. I just couldn't take it anymore, so I decided to go out of the border. I want to die in peace. I can't do this anymore. I'm tired just know I love you so much. And you will always be my friend.'

I then placed the letter under her pillow since we shared the room. The first thing to do is to fake my death. I want them to think I'm dead then I packed everything I will need to survive as I run to the border. When I reached the border then I cut my hand as I let my blood spill making it look like the Rouges attacked me. When I was done I then turned and looked back and I vowed that,

"I will soon return for my revenge Damon Sébastien King you will regret the day the Moon Goddess paired you with me as a mate!!"

Damon's POV

It has been 3 years knowing my mate is Alicia. When I got my wolf when I was 16 years old, I knew that she was mine. Dante is my wolfs name. He hates it when I trouble her, let alone I do that because I don't want any male wolf next to her she is my mate. Alicia doesn't know that cause I hoped that she got her wolf when she turned 16 years old but she didn't. I can't make her my mate she is an omega. I can't make an omega a Luna. Neither do I want any male wolf next to her. No one will respect me. Deep down, I want her as my Luna she is so innocent, different from every girl in this pack. She got paired with me with a dutche bag.

Yesterday she poured me with water in class she was angry that I pulled her chair. I usually do these things cause I want her to say something to me. I almost lost control. Dante wanted to come out and tell her that she was my mate. Today it is her birthday. I can't accept her as my mate. My whole pack will treat her badly. I don't want her to go through that pain.

Dante,*You can't reject her she is our mate.*

I sat there as I listened to Dante trying to reason with me about a decision I was about to make.

Damon,*Dante, I don't have a choice. I have to do it today. I'm rejecting her she will have to forgive me.*

As Dante was trying to talk to me, I blocked him out of my mind. He won't be able to communicate with me. I got ready for school as I went downstairs to get some breakfast I came across my dad, Alpha Michael, who was already at a breakfast table.

Damon, 'Morning Dad.'

Apha Michael,' Son.'

I sat at the breakfast table quite as our maid Georgina served us breakfast.

Damon, 'Thank you. Georgina!'

She nods as she leaves for the kitchen. My dad kept on staring at me quietly as he looked at me. He knew I wasn't okay. He knew something was bothering me.

Alpha Michael,' You know, son, if you want someone to talk to, I am here?'

Damon, 'Yes, Dad, don't worry, nothing is bothering me.'

I checked the time, and I realized I was running late.

Damon,' Sorry, Dad, I have to get going. I'm running late.'

I arrived at school. As I was about to enter I smelled my mate, Alicia. She walked past me she didn't even realize I was there. I wanted to go to her, but I just let it slide and go on with my day. I made sure I disappear and tried to avoid her as this is a difficult thing I have to do to her today which is to reject her. It was time for detention. I was already there in time. I'm sure she will arrive late. She is always late.

One thing I know about her is that she can't keep time. She enters the Detention Hall. She looked pretty as always with her white eyes and white hair. As I was looking at her, Dante started talking control. Luckily, Mr Ace came in. If Dante took control, he would have mated her on the spot.

We sat till the detention ended, and then I left and waited outside for her since she was still talking to Mr Ace. I then smelled her scent. I knew she was coming before she could process everything. I grabbed her by her waist and pinned her to the wall.

Damon,' Stop moving. Otherwise, I won't hesitate to break your bones in a split second!'.

One thing I love about her is that she is very stubborn, and that just turns me on. I won't mention her body. Her beautiful white eyes and blonde hair. As I came close to her, I smelled her rose scent, making butterflies run down my spine. My beautiful mate. I'm sorry for what I'm about to do. I love you so much.

Damon, 'What is your full name?'

I asked her as if I didn't know who she was.

Alicia, 'I'm Alicia.'

I stared at her for a moment thinking about what I was about to do, but I didn't have a choice I had to get done with this.

Damon,' I Damon Sébastien King reject Alicia as my mate.'

As I stared at her after saying those words. Tears started falling from her chin. I saw pain in her eyes. I saw betrayal. I felt her heartbreak. The worst part was that Dante wanted to come out he was angry at me, but I pushed him at the back of my mind. As her reaction is followed by words, "

Alicia, 'Why are you rejecting me? I'm your mate!'

She wanted me to accept her she needed me even though I treated her badly after all these years, but I can't. My pack would fall apart if I took her as my mate. I got rid of the emotions, and I continued saying,

'Out of all people I would mate with you think I will accept you as my mate? You don't have a wolf you are not even compatible to be the Luna of this pack. You will never be my mate!'.

I saw her face change. She had a serious look what I just said to her didn't hurt her. It was as if she wasn't crying minutes ago. If she was an actor she would have gotten an Oscar Award.

Alicia,' I Alicia accept Damon Sébastien Kings' rejection, and I will make you regret rejecting me. That's a promise I'm not only making to myself but to the Moon Goddess.'

She then wiped her tears and pushed me back. I couldn't believe she accepted my rejection. Just like that she accepted it. I wanted to tell her I'm sorry but I couldn't even get a chance to say something. She pushed me back and then ran out of school. Part of me wanted to go after her, but part of me didn't want to. I went back home, took a shower, and went to sleep. At 10 p.m. I was woken up by my Beta Steve who is also my best friend.

Steve,' Damon, wake up! We need to attend to some matters at an orphanage. One of the orphans has been attacked by the Rouges it is rumored that she went to the border to purposely get killed by the Rouges, and it is Alicia. Her roommate found her suicide note on her bed stating that she went to a border to commit suicide.'

I felt my whole world crumble. It can't be her.

Damon,' Did u try to send pack guards to scout the whole perimeter.'

Steve,' Yes, we did the security guards at the board found blood. It is speculated that she was attacked by the Rouges. No remains were found.'

I felt like crying. I lost my mate. I lost her all because of me. I will never forgive myself for this. I lost Alicia.
