Keisha was conversing with her friends who seemed to be not fazed about the announcement, when the class suddenly became dead quiet. It was one of the senior teachers who we really saw on the school premises she was always serious only smiled when she was around her kids.

"If I give you the new timetable, please go where you are supposed to go"! okay that was a straight command.

She went right at the back of the class and gave the timetable to the most quiet girl in our class ' Equestria' now that I think of it her name is odd, she stays in our boarding house ..rarely talks to anyone and she's a nerd . Without saying anything Equestria just took the time table.. stood up with her bag and went out of the class.

The senior teacher went round the class but did not give anyone else a timetable , I was about to celebrate when she came and handed the timetable to me "I'll be damned" Keisha thought.

" ma'am I'm sure there was a mistake" I said looking at the time table.

" no actually your parents agreed ".with that she taped on my shoulder not in a friendly way she went out of the class.

I stood up with the time table in my hand ,looked at my friends and couldn't find the courage to say anything I just took my bag waved at them then walked out heading to the Old chapel. I looked at my time table ,I was in class one and class one happened to be in the library where I got the first scrolls..

without knocking I just got inside everyone was seated ,some looked shocked seeing me . Tori and my roommates just winked at me and I smiled' at least I ain't alone 'there were boys in the class one smiled at me and I smilled back.

The smile never lasted on my face when my wrist gave me excruciating pain ,I felt like screaming. I just groaned and sat at the nearest desk next to the door.

"What the hell ?"

"You're a taken lady " ilario retorted back...

"Jealous much"

"Um not ..just territorial"ilarious replied back .

"Morning.. I guess you all special, you don't need to know my name and in this class its good to observe who you befriend any day from now you might become enemies .I'll be your class teacher for the second curriculum. "

"Owky ....strange"...

Alchemy ¹

The girls entered the alchemy classroom, their minds still buzzing from their recent adventures. The room was filled with the scent of herbs and the soft glow of enchanted lanterns. Shelves lined the walls, brimming with ancient tomes, vials of mysterious liquids, and artifacts from various realms.

Professor Thornes, a tall woman with silver hair and piercing blue eyes, stood at the front of the class. "Welcome, students," she began, her voice commanding yet kind. "Today, we delve into the ancient art of alchemy-a discipline that bridges the gap between science and magic.".

The girls took their seats, joining other chosen students from different houses. Keisha, Matilda , Zenid and Tori exchanged excited glances. This was a rare opportunity to learn about the very magic they had been using, although they knew this could be a trap or some sort of training for other purposes.

Professor Thornes continued, "Alchemy is not just about transmuting base metals into gold. It is about understanding the fundamental elements of nature-fire, earth, air, and water-and how they interact with the spiritual and magical realms."

"Is everyone understanding what I'm saying?" She said in a rather commanding tone that said ' don't even dare to say you not understanding"

" Great then ... I do not repeat anything in this class , anyone who fails to understand and capture fast will be sent to class two ... wouldn't be nice to be turned into a demon"... She said the last part in a whisper but Keisha managed to hear that ..."a demon"

" I'm going to teach you about the transformative power of fire , that's the first element we're going to learn about ... remember I won't give you all the information,you do your own research. It symbolizes purification and destruction, a force that can both create and annihilate" Professor Thornes explained...

The girls looked at each other,they have never read anything about fire elements ...

" Be in groups of 4 we're going to try a transmutation experiment, we're behind schedule"

" Why are we being rushed to learn everything?" Matilda whispered ..

" Told you they trynna build an army " Zenid said .

"Why are you standing there ?" Professor Thornes asked in a high tone while looking at the back of the class .

" Everyone is in a group" Keisha remembered the voice ,'Equestria '

"Come and join these girls " Thornes said pointing at Keisha's table.

The girls seemed to be good at working together...They practiced transmuting simple substances using fire, turning lead into a shimmering silver alloy. Well Equestria was the brains in the whole process...she came from a generation of witches ...this was simple magic to her. .

Professor Thornes looked at the girls lowering her glasses , and smirked "Bidh maighstir foirfe cho toilichte "
