The anomaly in the Kamen Rider Universe

Chapter 38: Healing (38)

As Rui carefully monitored Aaron's vital signs, her expression grew increasingly serious. The injuries he had sustained in his recent battle had taken a significant toll on his body. She knew that if he pushed himself too hard, it could lead to even more severe consequences.

With a sigh, she prepared a special liquid solution. "I know you don't like this, big brother, but it's for your own good," she said gently, her voice filled with concern.

As Aaron was lowered into the liquid, he couldn't help but feel a sense of discomfort and unease. But he trusted Rui, and he knew that she would do whatever was necessary to help him recover.

As Aaron found himself submerged in the liquid, he couldn't help but sputter and complain, even though he knew Rui was doing this for his own good. The liquid felt strange against his skin, and he made a face as he adjusted to the sensation.

"Come on, Rui," he protested, trying to sound more playful than annoyed, "I thought you were supposed to be the sweet one. This stuff is gross!"

Rui chuckled softly, watching over him with a gentle expression. "I promise it won't take long, big brother. This will speed up your recovery, and you'll be back to your old self in no time."

Aaron sighed dramatically, his voice echoing within the liquid. "Alright, alright. But next time, can we use something less... slimy?"

Rui nodded with an amused smile. "I'll keep that in mind, big brother."

Aaron emerged from the healing liquid with a theatrical display of mock indignation. He dramatically wiped his arms on his clothes, as if trying to rid himself of every trace of the strange substance.

"Rui, you little traitor," he teased, pouting playfully as he pointed an accusing finger at her. "You said it wouldn't be slimy, but I feel like I just took a bath in alien snot!"

Rui couldn't help but giggle at her brother's antics. She handed him a towel with an amused grin. "I'm sorry, big brother, but it was necessary. Besides, you're looking much better already."

Aaron sighed dramatically, using the towel to dry his hair. "Yeah, yeah, I know you did it for my own good. You always do. But next time, can we try something a bit less... extraterrestrial?"

Rui nodded with a warm smile. "Of course, big brother. I'll see what I can do."

Aaron sight to himself internally, sure it was for his own good but that liquid felt weird,he felt like he was being touch by 100 of people in places he shouldn't feel like he was being touched.

This liquid truly gave him nightmares.

"If you don't like it so much why don't you stop getting injured"Rui said looking at him

"That easier said than done sweet heart"Aaron said nonchantly.

His pores absorbed the liquid and just like that he was back to 100% of his original strength he could now probably keep up with Ace although that until he get injured again.

As Aaron's stomach loudly protested its emptiness, he tried to stifle the embarrassing noises, but Rui, perceptive as ever, quickly caught on. With a mischievous grin, she used her telekinesis to guide him toward the ship's kitchen.

"You're not fooling anyone, big brother," she teased. "You're clearly starving. Let's get you something to eat."

Aaron could only chuckle at his sister's keen observation and willingness to take care of him. He settled down at the kitchen table as Rui prepared a meal for him. The aroma of freshly cooked food filled the air, making his mouth water in anticipation.

Rui soon placed a steaming bowl of food in front of him, and Aaron's eyes lit up with gratitude. "You're a lifesaver, Rui."

With a loving smile, Rui replied, "Just doing my sisterly duty. Now eat up, and then we can talk about what to do next."

Rui watched Aaron silently as he continued to eat, her curiosity evident in her eyes. After a few more bites, she couldn't resist asking the question that had been on her mind.

"Aaron, why did you name the serum 'the bull'? It's such an unusual name."

Aaron paused mid-bite, a slightly guilty expression crossing his face. He struggled to come up with an explanation that would satisfy Rui's innocent curiosity without revealing the true, raunchy reason behind the name.

"Oh, uh, you see, Rui," he stammered, trying to find the right words, "I called it 'the bull' because, well, bulls are strong and powerful creatures, right? And this serum... it's meant to make people stronger and healthier, just like a bull."

Rui's eyes widened with understanding, and she nodded. "Oh, I see. That makes sense, big brother. Bulls are strong, so the serum will make people strong too. Thanks for explaining!"

Aaron let out a silent sigh of relief, relieved that he'd managed to dodge that particular bullet. He knew there were some things about the world he wanted to protect her from, at least for a little while longer.

Ain't now way he is telling her...it was named this for that reason...
