The anomaly in the Kamen Rider Universe

Chapter 37: Little sister (37)

Gasping for breath, Aaron found himself inside the spaceship, safe from Naomi's clutches. The intensity of the situation settled in as he lay on the cold floor, his body trembling. He couldn't help but reflect on just how close he had come to losing his life, a sobering reminder of the dangers he faced in this twisted world.

Aaron, still reeling from the encounter with Naomi, suddenly heard a gentle voice in his head. It was Rui, his adopted little sister, the one who had been sending him information through his watch and guiding him through his adventures.

She had an endearing appearance with her purple hair and red eyes, and she could look absolutely adorable when she pouted.

[Aaron, are you alright?]Rui's voice echoed in his mind, filled with concern. She could sense that he was heavily injure and was worry for him.

Aaron took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart, he almost got caught by that crazy woman. 'Yeah, I'm okay, Rui,' he replied mentally. 'That was a close one, though. Thanks for teleporting me out of there.'

Rui's voice held a comforting tone. [Of course, big brother. I'm always here to help you. Just be careful out there. That woman was... dangerous.]

She seemed to really enjoy helping him.

Aaron couldn't agree more. Naomi was unlike anyone he had ever encountered, and her obsession with owning him was deeply unsettling. He had to deal with for as long as he could remember and this was one of the closest she got to her goal. "I will, Rui. I'll make sure to stay safe. And I will try to not get caught"

As Aaron lay on the floor of the spaceship, his body still trembling from the encounter with Naomi, he suddenly felt himself begin to levitate off the ground. It was a sensation he was very familiar with, one that could only mean Rui was using her unique abilities to help him.

He looked around, slightly confused, and then realized that it was Rui who was controlling his levitation. She didn't want her big brother to go back out there and fight, especially when he was hurt so badly and barely treated. Rui was a sweetheart and a gentle soul, always looking out for him.

God forbid what would have happened to him if she never joined him(We would have a much darker story)

"Rui, you don't have to do this," Aaron said softly, his voice filled with gratitude. "I appreciate your concern, but I am just fine. I just have a couple of broken bones and that's about it"

Rui's eyes, filled with worry, met his gaze. "Really Aaron, just a couple of broken bones and nothing more...Aaron half of your ribcage is gone, your muscle fibers are mostly destroyed and the amount of brain damage you have suffered would put a regular person in a coma and you call that fine"

"Yep..I am completely fine nothing for you to worry about"Aaron said nodding his head up in down and acting like an idiot.

Rui smiled gently, her telekinetic hold on Aaron allowing him to float back down to the floor.

To be fair she was quite frustrated that her brother wouldn't really take care of himself why did he have to put people safety over his own?

| Let heal you|

Rui's voice echoed softly in Aaron's mind as she urged him to be more cautious and stop fighting so recklessly. She hated seeing her big brother get hurt, and her worry for him was evident in her gentle telepathic words.

"I will try my best no to get hurt although no promise..it not like I can stop"Aaron said his voice turning numb toward the end.

Rui understood the weight of his responsibilities, even if she didn't like it. She sent him a mental hug, her love and support palpable through their telepathic connection.

"Please don't die," She said with her actual voice and not a link through his mind.

Touched by her words, Aaron nodded to himself. "I won't, I did promise you that I would be there for you and a small injury like that won't hold me back"

Rui was one of the few people in the whole multiverse to have seen Aaron's soft side, even though due to her genetics she is stronger than Aaron by a lot.

Aaron doesn't want to risk exposing her to the world, does futuristic people will do anything for a Xalara much less a pure-blooded one that has awakened both abilities of their race?

Rui's healing energy flowed through Aaron, mending his wounds and soothing his pain. She scolded him gently for his recklessness, her worry for him evident in her words. But as he smiled at her and patted her head, she couldn't help but pout, a mix of affection and exasperation on her face.

"Big brother, you're impossible," she muttered, though there was a soft, fond smile tugging at the corners of her lips. Aaron's ruffling of her hair was one of those gestures that never failed to make her feel loved and protected, even if she was the one taking care of him at the moment.

"I can't help it," Aaron replied with a playful grin. "It's in my nature to be a little reckless sometimes. But I promise, I'll try to tone it down....."(he joking)

Rui's pout gradually melted into a warm smile. "Just promise me you'll let me take care of you when you need it. You don't always have to be the hero, big brother."

Aaron nodded, his heart swelling with gratitude for the precious family he had found in this strange world. "I promise, Rui. You're not just my little sister; youre probably the only reason I am still mentally sane"
