The Adaptive Quincy of Bleach

Chapter 6: Meeting a hollow (6)

Sora was not interested in class stuff, however, the second, the drawing part came, he wanted to show his artistic genius to the world.

He gazed at his sketch, before looking at Uryu's drawing, it was starting to become clear to him who had more talent in terms of stuff like that.

His drawing looked like absolute ass compared to Uryu, not like you would hear him admitting that.

It wasn't like had poured his heart and soul into the drawing just for this piece of fresh ass, to pop up in front of him.

"Class wasn't that important anyway," Sora muttered dismissively, shoving his hands in his pockets.

He did make sure he did toss the drawing in a nearby trash spot or whatever it was called, currently was experiencing a severe case of brain aneurysm, do not ask how he received it.

Uryu raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Really? That's not what you were saying earlier. Weren't you going to make the best drawing ever?"

Sora shot Uryu a glare that could melt steel. "You're pushing it, glasses."

This boy was pushing his buttons...in more ways than one.

Uryu however, feigned innocence, he looked away as though he hadn't just insulted Sora. "What? I didn't say anything wrong."

Such a smart ass...

"Oh, you're hilarious," Sora added narrowed his eyes as he glared at the boy, he then grinned mischievously.

Without warning, he darted forward and snatched Uryu's glasses clean off his face.

Was this an illegal move, maybe?

However Uryu deserve it, the least he could do now is run to him and get his dear glass back.

"Hey!" Uryu shouted, instinctively reaching for them.

However, Sora was not going to make it easy for him. Sora dangles the glass just out of reach, holding the glass high above his head.

He knew he was being a dick, but that was the advantage of being taller, he could always little bro, Uryu.

Not like the boy could do anything about it.

"Try me, short stack!" he teased, sticking out his tongue.

"Give them back, Sora!" Uryu yelled, his voice tinged with exasperation as he chased after him.

Sora, however, just dashed ahead, he laughed as Uryu was struggling to keep up with him.

That was to be expected after all, he was the cream of the top, probably the biggest prodigy that the Quincy had produced in all of the time it had existed.

He wouldn't be wrong in making that assumption, he was able to master the basics of Reishi manipulation in about a day and could go on to make full-on structures in about a week or so with no instruction and just himself.

There was also the fact he learned how to conceal his own Reiatsu alongside Learning Blut Vein, granted his control was ass.

Not to glaze himself too much, but he was sure he was a prodigy, he didn't think anyone could keep up with his growth, well unless they were like a group project of all the strongest thing in this world or had the power of the god of this world themself boosting them.

If Ryuken wasn't such a mean adult, maybe he could have taught him, he could have learned a thing or two about Quincy.

He held no real hatred toward the Shinigami, they just did what they had to do.

It's not like their action actually hurt him unless they were the reason someone he cared about died...he probably would not like them much.

He probably kills the shinigami responsible and goes on about his day.

However as he rounded a corner, he suddenly skidded to a stop. His grin vanishes in an instant.

Uryu nearly crashed into him. "What the—" he started, but then his gaze followed Sora's, and his words died in his throat.

A grotesque creature could be seen, feasting on the soul of a human.

If he remembers correctly, those souls should be considered something called...a plus.

That didn't change the fact, that currently, that hollow was finished devouring the human.

The hollow turned around, it gazed now on them.

"You seeing this..." Sora asked as if to make sure he wasn't high off sleep deprivation.

"Yes..." Uryu replied.

Sora immediately made a bow out of Reishi and then an arrow, he aimed it at the creature's mask and prepared to unleash an arrow.

"Wait no, you can't kill it"

"Huh..."

"Grandpa said, we are not allowed to kill them, only shinigami can"

"Do you see any shinigami around"

"No..."

"Do you feel like being hollow food"

"No"

"And you still not allowing me to fire that arrow."

"Yes..."

Feeling frustrated, Sora had no other choice, he knew he could kill the hollow, however there was no Shinigami in sight.

What could he ...

*DING*

The very next second, the air felt heavy, Uryu felt like he was carrying 3 mountains, and he felt like he was going to pass out.

So much, pressure...

The hollow could not say the same, it was utterly crushed under the weight of Sora spiritual pressure. (Reiatsu)

Upon seeing the hollow being crushed, Sora smiled.

"Well, that done....."

He turned around to look at Uryu, the boy seemed out of breath...maybe he had done a bit too much.

"I told you, we couldn't kill it," Uryu said looking at him.

Sora raised his hand in the air before saying "Did my arrow hit it...did I attack it"

"No....." Uryu then realized what the boy had done.

"I didn't kill the hollow, it just crushed" He had a goofy smile on his face.

"Have fun explaining that to Father"

Sora's face dropped, and he got on his knees.

"I beg you...please don't tell him...Please...Uryu"

Uryu did not listen and started walking away, with the pleading Sora behind him. To be fair even if Uryu wanted to, he couldn't really lie, anyone who could feel spiritual power could feel that dense Reishi that had been released.

Sora reiatsu was intense and potent.

Somewhere on a nearby telephone poll.

A strange man with a colorful hat could be seen looking down at the two boys walking away
