That Is Not My Sister But Bibi Dong?!

Chapter 108: Ye Tian's Speculation—Is His Sister Bibi Dong?!

After finishing his words, Chen Jian's brush danced across the paper, creating bold and fluid characters in one seamless motion.

Four powerful words appeared on the screen panel:

"天长地久" (Eternal Love).

"These characters are so beautiful!" Hu Liena exclaimed in admiration. Despite her limited knowledge of calligraphy, she could appreciate the elegance and rhythm within the strokes.

"Thank you, Elder Chen, for your inscription," Ye Tian said with a polite bow of respect.

Chen Jian quickly stepped aside, waving his hands. "Young Master, you're too kind. I can't possibly accept such formalities from you."

He then turned to Bibi Dong, handing her the brush.

"Miss, you should also contribute a line. After all, you're both a family member and the matchmaker for this union."

"That's true," Hu Liena said earnestly, nodding in agreement. "Teacher, Ye Tian and I are both looking forward to your blessings."

Hearing this, Bibi Dong smiled gently, accepting the brush from Chen Jian. She approached the panel and spoke:

"For Xiao Tian and Nana's wedding, my blessings are, of course, indispensable."

With her elegant hand, she began to write on the panel, her movements light yet deliberate.

In the end, four finely crafted, upright characters appeared to the left of "天长地久":

"永结同心" (Forever United in Heart).

Hu Liena clapped her hands in delight upon seeing the inscription.

"This is wonderful!"

However, Ye Tian, standing off to the side, froze as he saw the writing.

The handwriting didn't seem to match his sister's usual style.

He recalled that his sister had learned to read and write during her time as a maid in Spirit Hall. Her literacy level was basic at best, and in their correspondence over the past two years, her letters had always been filled with clumsy, uneven characters.

How had her handwriting suddenly become so neat and refined when using a brush?

This was far too unusual.

As this thought took root, Ye Tian found himself scrutinizing his sister more closely, a growing unease stirring within him.

"Could this… be a fake sister?"

Once this suspicion arose, it became impossible to dismiss.

Scenes from their recent days together flashed through Ye Tian's mind like a reel of memories.

Upon reflection, numerous doubts surfaced.

For instance, his sister had taken leave to visit him. Logically, Spirit Hall would have noticed her prolonged absence.

As a maid, while her status was low, her role within Spirit Hall was unique and sensitive.

If she didn't return, Spirit Hall would likely classify her as missing and launch an investigation.

Yet, during these past days, there hadn't been a single sign of Spirit Hall inquiring about her.

Another point that puzzled Ye Tian was the dramatic shift in East Sea City's atmosphere after his sister's return.

Previously, the city had been a quiet, inconspicuous place. But following her arrival, it suddenly became the focal point of the entire continent.

Attributing such a massive shift to his sister might seem far-fetched, but when viewed through the lens of conspiracy, it raised significant concerns.

Then there was her reaction when he disclosed Qian Renxue's true identity to her.

Although she seemed surprised initially, her subsequent calmness was almost unnerving.

Qian Renxue was no ordinary figure. Secretly, she was the heir to the Angel Clan, and publicly, the crown prince of the Heaven Dou Empire.

Either of these identities alone carried immense weight, capable of overwhelming anyone.

Yet his sister interacted with Qian Renxue as if nothing had happened, even personally attending to her daily needs like a close friend.

Her composure was extraordinary—something that couldn't have been honed by serving as a maid for a few years.

The more Ye Tian thought about it, the more outlandish his theories became, leaving his head spinning.

He murmured the names of the people he had recently interacted with:

"Sister, Nana, Teacher, Qian Renxue…"

Suddenly, a name surged into his mind unbidden.

"Bibi Dong…"

As the name echoed in his thoughts, his mind churned like crashing waves.

"Nana, Hu Liena, Teacher… Bibi Dong!"

The connections between the names were too striking!

He thought back to the intelligence reports he had received earlier.

Bibi Dong and Hu Liena had both gone missing around the same time his sister returned.

Boom!

Ye Tian felt as if his head had exploded.

The implications were overwhelming.

Even though it was just a hypothesis, the possibility that it could be true was terrifying.

Unable to resist, Ye Tian returned to his villa and headed to his study to retrieve his sister's previous letters.

He needed to compare her handwriting carefully.

But even that wasn't enough. He had to investigate her past in Spirit Hall.

"Ye Tian, do you think Teacher's writing is beautiful?"

Hu Liena's voice brought Ye Tian out of his spiraling thoughts.

He quickly concealed his shock, putting on a light smile. "How could my sister's writing not be beautiful?"

Then he turned to Hu Liena, studying her intently.

Her personality was indeed remarkably similar to Hu Liena's.

"W-Why are you looking at me like that?" Hu Liena asked, flustered.

Ye Tian chuckled lightly. "You're my wife. Am I not allowed to admire you?"

Hearing this, Hu Liena's cheeks flushed red as she shot him a bashful, reproachful glance.

As they chatted, the sound of hooves approached from a distance.

A staff member dismounted and hurried over to Ye Tian, bowing respectfully.

"Young Master, some experts have arrived at your villa. His Highness, Crown Prince Xue Qinghe, requests your presence."

"It must be Ning Fengzhi," Hu Liena mused. "He arrived rather quickly. The message only came a few days ago, and he's already here."

Ye Tian, eager to investigate his sister's handwriting further, glanced at the panel, committing the "永结同心" characters to memory.

With a smile, he said, "Since His Highness has invited me, I have no choice but to go. Sister, Nana, stay here for now. I'll return shortly."

Bibi Dong, sensing Qian Renxue's intentions to recruit Ye Tian, remained composed but advised him earnestly: "Avoid conflict at all costs."

"Don't worry, Sister. I'll handle it."

Ye Tian nodded before riding off on horseback toward his villa.

Inside the Villa

Qian Renxue, back in her male disguise, greeted Ning Fengzhi in the main hall.

Her voice was gentle as she bowed slightly. "Teacher, it's been a while."

Ning Fengzhi quickly motioned for her to stop. "Your Highness, you're still recovering. Please, no need for such formalities."

Qian Renxue smiled gracefully and turned her gaze toward the young girl in a green dress standing beside Ning Fengzhi.

"And this must be your daughter, Rongrong? It's been years. She's grown into a fine young lady."

Ning Rongrong returned a sweet smile and bowed slightly.

"I'm honored that Your Highness remembers me."

Ning Fengzhi, shifting to a more serious tone, leaned forward slightly and said gravely:

"Your Highness, if your health permits, you should leave East Sea City as soon as possible.

"Both His Majesty Xue Ye and I are concerned that Spirit Hall might act against you after learning of your presence here.

"His Majesty suggests that you return to the imperial capital while I stay behind to investigate the assassination attempt."

Qian Renxue chuckled inwardly.

If only Ning Fengzhi knew that Spirit Hall's Supreme Pontiff is right nearby—how would he react?

Outwardly, she remained calm and nodded lightly. "Teacher, you're absolutely right. I won't linger in East Sea City."

Just as the two continued their conversation, Ye Tian arrived at the villa.
