Although using the Kamui for spatial transfer would reveal his Mangekyo Sharingan, the transfer lasted only a brief moment. His eyes quickly reverted to his regular black pupils, leaving almost no one able to notice the change in his eyes.

Standing behind him were Arima and the members of the Inaba Squad.

As soon as Byakuya commanded, they immediately sprang into action.

The ghouls lurking in the shadows realized they could no longer stay hidden and charged out to attack Byakuya and his group.

However, the strongest ghoul present was merely an S rated one, and it just so happened to face Byakuya.

This ghoul wore a "clown-like" mask, a signature of the Clowns group. Byakuya swiftly retrieved his quinques Moonshadow and Wind Spirit from his briefcase.

"Die, you damn 'Dove'!"

The ghoul unleashed a dark green rinkaku and lunged at Byakuya's head.

However, Byakuya's sharingan had already read the ghoul's moves. Leaning back to a near-horizontal angle, he flawlessly dodged the attack and countered with the Wind Spirit, driving it upward into the ghoul's abdomen.

His strike precisely damaged the ghoul's kakuhou, temporarily preventing it from using its kagune.

"What?!"

The ghoul felt intense pain in its abdomen and was stunned by the human's speed.

It was unimaginable that a human could not only evade its attack but also counter with such precision and swiftness.

The ghoul, though critically wounded, was not entirely incapacitated, but its injuries were severe enough to hinder regeneration.

An SSS rated ghoul might have healed from such wounds in moments, with the kakuhou requiring more time. But as an S rated ghoul, recovery would take much longer.

Byakuya gave it no chance to recover. Using both quinques, he pinned the ghoul's arms to the ground.

"AAAAH!"

The ghoul screamed in agony.

Even with their resilience, ghouls were not immune to pain.

"Call your leader here" Byakuya said coldly, intending to lure Uta to this location.

The system confirmed the ghoul's incapacitation.

Meanwhile, Arima quickly finished off several A rated ghouls with ease, even using only a B rated quinque.

However, instead of killing the ghouls, Arima destroyed their kakuhous, leaving them incapacitated. He had always disliked unnecessary killing and, as he wasn't a 'Cleaner' had no need to force himself into that role.

The Inaba Squad struggled, facing B rated and a few A rated ghouls, due to their lack of combat experience. Eventually, Warabe and Koori combined efforts to defeat two A rated ghouls, turning the tide.

With only B rated ghouls remaining, the squad gained the upper hand. Arima observed from the sidelines, ready to intervene if necessary but refraining to allow the squad to gain practical experience.

Despite waiting, Uta did not appear, suggesting he wasn't nearby.

Changing tactics, Byakuya addressed the subdued ghoul: "Tell me your leader's location, and I'll spare your life. Refuse, and you'll face the harshest torture in Cochlea."

Coincidentally, the ghoul was a recent escapee during the Aogiri Tree's recent assault on Cochlea. The ghoul vividly remembered the horrors of the interrogators there and was unwilling to return.

"I'll talk! I'll tell you everything!"

The ghoul's immediate surrender surprised Byakuya, but he got the intel he needed.

Keeping his word, Byakuya released the ghoul but moved swiftly to prevent any warnings being sent.

"Arima, let's go" Byakuya instructed. "Inaba Squad, stay here and secure the area"

"Yes, sir" Warabe acknowledged on behalf of the squad.

On the way to Uta's location, Byakuya made a call to Eto.

In a derelict church in the 4th Ward, the Clowns had established its base.

Uta and Yomo were both present.

"It seems the 'Doves' from other wards are gathering in the 4th Ward. Looks like they've set their sights on us" Uta remarked.

Though appearing gentle and harmless, Uta's tattooed body and permanent kakugan — created through tattooing his sclera — were far from ordinary.

"What do you plan to do?" Yomo, with his striking silver hair and composed demeanor, asked plainly.

"More 'Doves' are bound to arrive. It's better to strike first before they consolidate their forces" Uta replied.

"I'm not joining you. I have no intention of provoking the Doves" Yomo stated firmly, intent on protecting his family and maintaining peace in the 4th Ward.

"Well... it seems you may not have a choice" Uta noted, sensing the approach of two intruders.

Yomo also became alert to the nearing presence.

"Everyone, put on your masks. It looks like the 'Doves' have arrived" Uta nonchalantly to the others, as if the approaching threat meant nothing to him.

Soon enough, two humans entered the church.

To be precise, they were half-humans...
