Chapter 45: Beginning of the takeover

The morning after Ethan's listening party, the internet exploded. Social media platforms buzzed with hashtags like #EthanUnplugged, #OneOfAKind, and #MusicThatMoves. Fans and critics alike flooded timelines with reviews, reactions, and clips from the event, creating a ripple effect that reached every corner of the digital landscape.

On Twitter, one user shared a teary-eyed selfie with the caption:

"Listening to #7Years by @EthanOfficial and suddenly questioning all my life choices. This song is a masterpiece."

Another post, featuring a clip of Fire on Fire, had garnered over a million views within hours. The caption read:

"This is what legends are made of. @EthanOfficial, you just gave us the anthem of a lifetime."

On Instagram, fan art of Ethan began to surface. One particularly striking piece depicted Ethan standing amidst flames, his silhouette radiating strength and vulnerability. It was reshared by Ethan's account with the caption:

"You guys are amazing. I'm in awe of your love and creativity. Thank you ❤️"

TikTok was ablaze with snippets of his songs paired with heartfelt captions, choreographed dances, and dramatic transitions. Riptide quickly became the unofficial theme for a new trend, with creators attempting quirky challenges inspired by the song's lyrics.

The buzz wasn't limited to fans. Ethan's songs had caught the ears—and hearts—of some of the biggest names in the industry.

Diddy, never one to hold back, took to Instagram Live, where he played Mama Said for his followers, grinning ear to ear.

"This kid right here? He's the future. Mark my words. Ethan, you've got an open invite to the studio anytime."

Tom Cruise shared a clip of himself listening to Another Love while working out, captioning it:

"This song? Pure art. Keep climbing, @EthanOfficial—you've got the world watching."

Even Adele, notoriously reserved with her praise, posted a story with the caption:

"Listening to #SaveYourTears by @EthanOfficial. This young man's talent is unreal. Can't wait to see what he does next."

While the digital world continued buzzing, Ethan's family returned to their routines.

Adam, his father, slipped back into his usual schedule, arriving at work early Monday morning. His colleagues teased him about needing tissues after the listening party, but their smiles carried a note of admiration.

Emily, his mom, had her own stories to share with friends at the bakery where she volunteered part-time. Between icing cupcakes and arranging pastries, she proudly recounted Ethan's dedication to his craft.

Precious, Ethan's younger sister, shifted her focus to preparing for college. After the whirlwind night of mingling with influencers and sneaking glances at her brother on stage, she was back to finalizing forms, choosing dorm essentials, and scrolling Pinterest for dorm decor ideas.

Though they were proud, they gave Ethan space, understanding that his world had grown infinitely larger in just one night.

Later that week, Ethan found himself in a sleek, glass-walled office in downtown Los Angeles. He was seated with his trusted team: Jessica, his no-nonsense manager; Bill, the head of his label; and Rebecca, his creative director.

They had gathered to discuss the next phase of his career. Jessica flipped through her tablet, reviewing a list of offers and opportunities. "Ethan, the response has been phenomenal. Every major outlet wants an interview, and we've got festival invitations rolling in."

Bill leaned forward, his tone measured. "The party was a success, but the real work begins now. We need to strategize—singles, music videos, live performances. What's the next move?"

Rebecca chimed in, her voice excited. "We also need to lock in the visuals for the album. The concepts we teased at the party are trending. People are asking for more."

Ethan listened quietly, taking it all in. The chatter around him felt like a blur, but he knew this moment was pivotal. His album, One of a Kind, wasn't just a collection of songs—it was the foundation of his legacy.

He finally spoke, his voice calm but resolute. "Let's make every decision count. I didn't pour my soul into this album to play it safe."

The room fell silent for a moment before Jessica nodded approvingly. "Alright, then. Let's get to work go big or go home rigth."

As the meeting began in earnest, Ethan leaned back in his chair, his mind racing with possibilities. The world was watching, and he was ready to give them everything he had—and more he was going to takeover
