Strike the Blood: The 4th Primogenitor

Third Person PoV

Two days have passed since Kojou had a falling out with Yaze and four days since the fight against the Nalakuvera.

It was midnight and instead of snuggling with his sister or girlfriend, Kojou was standing on the balcony, talking to someone over his phone.

"So why did you call me again? This is the third time you are calling me at such a time?" Kojou said, a weird serenity in his voice.

"Don't ask weird questions, Akatsuki Kojou!" The voice of Sayaka came from his mobile phone.

But normally by now Kojou would use logic to embarrass Sayaka but he didn't, his post-nut clarity had ascended him to a higher dimension, he didn't care what anyone said to him.

Accompanied by the gentle breeze he was feeling as if he had broken through his limitations and became one with the wind.

"Do you want to hear my voice?" Kojou said as if he already knew why Sayaka called him.

"Hmph! Don't think of yourself too highly, anyways goodnight!"

With a beep the call was disconnected, but Kojou didn't say anything. The weird smile on his face remained on his face for a while.

"Ah! This feeling is truly the best."

Next morning Kojou went to school with Yukina. Asagi and Nagisa went before them, both of them had to do something at school.

One quick monorail trip later the vampire with his observer were at the entry gate of Saikai Academy.

Yukina bade her farewell and went towards the middle school while Kojou went towards the High school.

He came and sat down on his bench. He saw Yaze also sitting on his bench, Kojou was able to see that Yaze was not doing well.

'Problems may be due to mental stress. Unlike me who had two others to share my stress, he doesn't. Well unless he comes clean there is no way for me to help him.'

Kojou sighed, he also wanted to be friends with Yaze like before, but due to his identity as the 4th Primogenitor and Yaze's identity as his true observer had created a rift between them.

But Kojou didn't linger on this for long, he quickly saw Asagi enter the classroom and she came near him and said something in his ear.

"Come to the Art room later. Alone." And went back to her seat, leaving Kojou a little bit bewildered.

But Kojou didn't think too much on this matter again, his mind was busy with other things, as a lion with a mane of lightning was asking him to play fetch with him.

Recently his familiars are getting more intelligent, especially Regulus-Aurum. Now Kojou aside from training in the morning while hiding from his observer and helping Asagi master her familiar, had to play with the huge cat in his mind or soul, where ever they resided.

With a sigh that came from the depths of his body Kojou muttered.

"Why are cats so energetic?"

A bell rang, bringing the end of school with it. Kojou moved his eyes towards Asagi's seat to find it empty.

'She already went to the art room?'

Seeing that Kojou also made his way to the art room. He opened the door to find Asagi leaning on the window, seeing the outside greenery.

Sensing his arrival with the help of the sound from the sliding door, she turned her head towards him and said.

"Take them off."

"Sure." Kojou took off his jacket and quickly unbuttoned his shirt but was stopped mid-way.

"Not get naked, only the jacket, for the art elective project?" Kojou remembered the project hearing Asagi mention it.

"Yes."

Kojou sat on a chair completely still. Asagi was looking at him and her canvas. A palette of colour on her hand and a brush in another.

Sitting in silence the two lovers had a great time but Asagi got bored very quickly.

"Kojou! Be more entertaining!" Asagi asked something weird of her model.

"I can't become more entertaining just because you want me too." Kojou said with a deadpan.

Seeing that Kojou was useless, Asagi got an idea and went to execute it. She went out of the art room and in a few minutes came back with a cardboard box full of different costumes.

"Ta-da!"

"Costumes, really. From the theatre club?"

"Don't talk much and get changed!"

"Fine-Fine." Kojou relented, he knew resistance was futile here.

But who said that he could change only? Making a few moves here and there wouldn't be bad either.

Outside the art room, a middle schooler was standing. With a huge blush on her face she tried to stop her legs from rubbing together and her mind wandering due to the sounds from inside.

"Kyanh~"

"Spread it!"

"So rough!"

"This maid dress is very tempting!"

"Mmmmmh~"

"Take it all!!"

"So hot and thik~"

The moans were equally lewd. It was unknown if Asagi was able to complete her art project.

Kojou was walking back alone in his own world, his mood was very nice. Asagi had stayed back to clean up and get some

actual work done for her art project.

Kojou had offered to help, but was chased out by Asagi, her reasoning being that they would only make the room more dirty if they stayed alone.

Again Kojou sighed, but a familiar voice made him halt his steps and look back.

"What were you doing till such late senpai!"

"Oh, Himeragi. I was helping Asagi with her art project."

"And that art project required for you and Aiba-senpai to-to!"

Yukina was unable to say it out, her face was red and she was trembling as if she was angry enough to erupt like a volcano.

"I didn't know you were into such things, Himeragi. But don't worry, your trusted senpai can help you fulfil your lewd desires. You can come to my house at night to watch more!"

Yukina started shivering, and said with a trembling voice.

"A-Akatsuki senpai! That was only because I am your observer!"

"So please tell me the details of the observation you did today. You know this excuse is getting boring now, or is the LKO nothing but a huge stalking agency?"

Yukina was at a loss of words; she couldn't believe that she was losing this easily to Kojou, in a verbal war. He was teasing her in this too!

But just then Kojou caught a familiar figure outside, in the school grounds out of the corner of his eye.

"Nagisa? Who is she meeting?"

Hearing him speak, Yukina also moved her gaze towards the window down and saw Nagisa getting a letter from a boy.

"A love letter?"

"Nah! It must be something else. She will most probably talk to me about this at home."

"No, it may be. Nagisa-chan is popular, easy to talk to and cute. Many boys in the class like her." Yukina gave a valid argument.

But Kojou was unperturbed.

"Well, we will know it soon, won't we? Wanna follow her tomorrow?"

"That's unethical."

"That is what you do to me everyday."

Yukina was at a loss of words and could only wordlessly nod her head in agreement to Kojou.

"Then it is settled."

Same night before dinner, Kojou was lying on his bed. Just then his phone rang, Kojou picked it up as if he was expecting it and said.

"Speak what you want fast, I don't have time!"

"What? W-wait a minute, What with your attitude, you're just Akatsuki Kojou!"

Sayaka said, flustered as she didn't expect Kojou to react like this. On the other side Kojou was laughing after covering his phone.

'She is so fun and easy to tease!'

"Speak quickly!"

"I'll be in Itogami island, starting this weekend. A very important person from Aldgyr is to come there and I am supposed to be the guide and bodyguard."

"Isn't that pretty far?" Kojou said

"Yes, so I will be busy, but if possible-"

"You'll be pretty busy, I see. Then work hard, no need to meet me and Himeragi. Work takes priority."

Kojou said seriously while he was laughing like mad in his mind.

"Yeah! That's right! You jerk!"

Sayaka said, again letting her emotions control her. The call was cut and Kojou sighed.

"Gotta make her cheer up now!"

As he had bitten her before, he remembered the feel of her blood and magical nature.

He increased the radius of his senses to completely cover the Itogami island, but didn't find Sayaka.

"Is she in Japan?"

Kojou didn't lose hope and tried a special trick he was wanting to use for a long time.

He closed his eyes and focused on his fourth familiar, and gradually his hair colour went from dark silver blue to light silver blue, his eyes also became silver coloured.

And he silently murmured.

"Thirdz, Cancer Teratos!"

His range of senses reached Japan and he finally found Sayaka. He let out a smile and vanished in a silver mist.

Sayaka was angry but also nervous, in her anger she had screamed at Kojou and called him a jerk, she was worried that he may become angry with her.

She was in the Tokyo Airport's lounge, which was empty. As an attack mage from the LKO going on an important mission she was naturally given the best possible service.

As she was standing, behind her silver mist appeared and it slowly condensed into a corporal human body.

Kojou now standing just behind her spread his hands and hugged her suddenly from behind, surprising and scaring her at the same time.

"How's my dancer?"

"Kyahh~"

Sayaka at first tried to reach for her Koukarin but hearing the voice of Kojou she calmed down leaning a bit into his embrace.

Coming back to her senses Sayaka turned around and looked at Kojou, she then held his hand and then asked.

"How did you come here?"

"Oh, that is the familiar I awakened through your blood. It can turn me into mist and move anywhere. Of course it had limitations and conditions, but I was able to meet them easily this time. You are lucky that Itogami island is less than 400 km from Tokyo or else i wouldn't be able to come here like this, the range will increase once i become the complete 4th Primogenitor."

Sayaka was happy and her eyes lit up a little. She was relieved that he wasn't angry with her, on the contrary he came all the way to Tokyo just so he could meet her.

Just then his phone rang. He picked it and then said to Sayaka.

"It seems that food is ready at home. So I need to go. If you want to meet me when you are on Itogami island, just call me."

Saying so Kojou again vanished into the silver mist, which gradually disappeared.

"Idiot, Kojou!" Sayaka said softly, but instead of scorn, her voice was full of tenderness.

Returning back to his room, Kojou fell on his butt.

"As I thought, this takes too much energy. Unless I become stronger I can't do this often. I can't even bring someone along as of now. The range is good for now but it is a one man, single trip only."

"Kojou-kun, dinner is ready, come out!" Nagisa's voice came from his door.

"Coming!"

Keystone gate, on one of the floors for medical patients.

Yaze was standing in front of a room of glass, looking at a girl lying on the bed with multiple machines connected to her.

Minamiya Natsuki came walking towards him.

"Why did you call me here, Yaze?"

"The board of directors is a little short staffed." The boy answered.

"So this is the fifth one? I heard another one was fighting it?" The witch answered, as if she already knew why she was called here.

"Yes, but it was not a demon, but it had vety faint signs of demonic modification. She is almost human, according to the results of the company."

"So a normal human was able to destroy multiple buildings and fly?" Natsuki-chan said with sarcasm.

"Also her organs around kidney and diaphragm are missing, her manipura chakra."

"Cannibalism?" Natsuki-chan questioned.

With the noise of steps another person came here.

"It wasn't her organ that was taken, it was her spiritual centre. Quite intriguing."

The man was revealed to be Vatler. Natsuki-chan asked.

"Why is a bat with no involvement in this case present here?"

"Can't say, Diplomatic secrecy."

"A vampire from Warlord's dominion is involved in this?"

"Who knows, but it also may be connected to her."

"What is it that you know, Snake Charmer?" Natsuki-chan said with an edge in her voice.

"Ragnvald of Aldegyr, an airship of the Order of the Sacred Ring, has been missing."

"Are you implying that the Royal family of Aldegyr is involved in this?"

Yaze was silent through the conversation between the two behemoths of the world.

"Who knows, but they are not your enemies. It may be best if you ignore this matter altogether."

"You are telling me what to do?"

"No, I am asking something in return for this."

"What?"

"Don't involved Kojou in this, although he is much stronger than I expected him to be, there may be a chance that he may die, permanently if he gets involved in this."

Natsuki-chan's glare strengthened in intensity as if trying to tear a hole through Vatler's head, but she didn't say or do anything.
