Strike the Blood: The 4th Primogenitor

Third Person PoV

With the abducted girls.

Asagi had just woken up and now she found herself in a storeroom. She also saw Nagisa and Yukina sitting opposite to her.

"Nagisa-chan, what happened, where are we?"

"We were kidnapped, Aiba-senpai. By Chirstoph Gardos."

"What? When?"

"You were caught by a stray blast from Sayaka-san and were knocked out. Akatsuki-senpai put you in the infirmary and went to deal with Sayaka-san, and at that time we were abducted." The sword shaman explained.

Just then the gates opened and the man of honour walked in, Chirstoph Gardos.

"Thanks for explaining the small stuff, attack mage. It is an honour to meet with the Cyber Empress."

And a book was thrown at Asagi's feet. She picked it up and was shocked.It was the manual of the latest version of the supercomputer she uses, Souveran IX.

"I want you to use it and analyse the control commands for the Nalakuvera."

"So you were the one who sent that annoying puzzle to me last night!" Asagi said, understanding of the situation dawning upon her.

"Annoying puzzle you say? Out of 150 people around the world only you were able to decode it, that too in two hours."

"Hmph! Why do you think I will help you?"

"You don't have an option, the stone tablet you decoded only contained the activation command, so we can only activate it and not control it. It may destroy the island or toast your friends."

While Nagisa and Yukina looked troubled, Asagi was smiling.

"Toast my friends? Sorry to tell you even if you toast my boyfriend he will be back to normal in a few minutes."

"Is he a vampire?" Garfos inquired

"Yeah, he is. The 4th Primogenitor. He will destroy that little toy of yours easily."

"Even that is acceptable." Gardos said surprising Asagi. But it looks like Yukina knew what he was talking about.

"If the Nalakuvera loses to the 4th Primogenitor then it wouldn't work against the 1st Primogenitor, naturally. But if it wins then we would have solid proof that we can stand against a Primogenitor." Gardos said.

"Kojou would win, and then he will catch you and you will regret doing any of this."

Asagi was ready to use her familiar to end this right now and here but Yukina spoke up.

"No, Aiba-senpai. That will be our loss too. Lord Ardeal implied that if he fought with the Nalakuvera then the island would sink. If senpai fights it then the island will sink too."

"Exactly, even if Lord Ardeal is the vampire closest to the Primogenitors, he is not a Primogenitor. It is obvious that the familiars of the 4th will be stronger than him." Gardos was grinning evilly.

Asagi gritted her teeth and was thinking what to do now.

Just then Gardos took his walkie-talkie and connected to the man keeping a watch on the Nalakuvara.

"Give me a status report, Grigore."

"Grigore here, it is a success, Major. At the current pace, the weapon will destroy everything."

"Roger." Gardos said and looked towards Asagi.

"Heard him? Then please work as fast as you can, for your sake."

"I have a question, Why did Lord Ardeal assist you?"

"You figured it out, Sword shaman?"

"Yes, your assistant was present on the day we came to the party. We are on Oceanus Grave, a ship with diplomatic immunity, the island guard can't reach you here. But why?"

"I don't know what an immortal vampire thinks, but if I had to say, then for staving off his boredom. Anyways, Miss Aiba, please hurry lest your dear blood companion sinks the island."

Leaving the ominous warning the terrorist walked out of the room and the door closed.

Asagi went to the back of the room and started using the supercomputer to analyse the massive amount of data to decide the control commands of the Nalakuvera.

Yukina wanted to stop her. She did try.

"Aiba-senpai, If you do this, they will have a way to threaten the Primogenitors, I don't think they will leave Itogami island intact."

"I know, but Kojou will do something. I will handle the Nalakuvera and do something about it, and until then Kojou will buy me time."

Yukina went silent at that and watched the Cyber Empress do her work. While she was now thinking of a way to escape this grave on ocean or find a way to take command of this cruise ship from Gardos

Both were equally hard to do. But she would not give up, after all, Akatsuki-senpai will be fighting, as his observer she can't just sit here and wait for rescue.

"Nagisa-chan, here take my phone and explain things to Kojou, I am busy working on the analysis."

"Hai!" The little sister dialled her brother's number and waited for him to pick up.

On the subfloat.

The Nalakuvera was continuing its destruction, the island guard were unable to do anything to halt it.

"That's impressive." Vatler remarked, seeing the attacks of the ancient weapon.

But Kojou asked something.

"Vatler, where is your boat?"

"Oh! The Oceanus Grave? Gardos hijacked it, I barely made it out alive."

Kojou's eyes became cold after hearing that. There was no way a small-time terrorist was able to beat Vatler.

"You slimy bastard, you intentionally-"

But before Kojou could finish his word, Vatler tossed a wet body to him. Kojou watched it easily but was shocked seeing the face.

"Yaze?"

"Oh! You know him. Anyways I will destroy Nalakuvera and take responsibility for this Kojou."

And the unruly bastard jumped towards the Nalakuvera, leaving Kojou behind.

Before Kojou could pursue him his phone rang.

"Asagi? Nagisa! Are you fine? Where are the other two?"

"All of us are fine Kojou-kun, but Asagi-chan has asked for you to keep the Nalakuvera still and not try to destroy it."

Kojou gritted his teeth at that, currently the three familiars he has are not really good for that unless he wants to sink the subfloat at least.

Mesarthim-Adamas is for defence, Regulus-Aurum is way too destructive and Alrescha-Glacies will end up freezing the entire subfloat. Asagi should know that, even then she asked him to hold back?

"Nagisa give the phone to Asagi, now!"

"Hai!" Nagisa quickly passed the phone to Asagi who clicked her tongue at that.

"What Kojou? I am doing a very important job here!"

"I will buy you extra time, but for now listen. I do not have the familiars necessary for the job you ask of me, without sinking the subfloat that is."

"Do not sink the subfloat, Kojou. I am working on figuring the control commands, and I will also figure out a way to stop them after, so please keep it still and do not sink the subfloat."

"Fine, but expect massive damage and leakage here after this shitstrom is over. And we will have training sessions for after this, and no I will not rethink this decision."

Kojou cut the phone after this and left Asagi alone to complete the analysis of a weapon capable of destroying civilizations.

Yukina was planning on her own and Nagisa was standing away from Asagi hoping for the best.

"Manasvin, Utpalaka!" With Vatler's proclamation two black and blue snakes manifested.

The two wrapped around each other, giving rise to…

"Shakara! This should be enough!"

The result of his two familiars fusing a massive snake with greenish underside and violet hood floated in the sky.

Seeing the fusion of two familiars, Natsuki-chan commented seeing such a thing for the first time.

"He could fuse his familiars? What a nuisance!" The witch saw out of the corner of her eye that Kojou was moving towards Vatler.

"Oye, Vatler! Don't interfere. I will be the one doing the fighting here today."

Vatler looked downward, his eyes red showing that he was serious.

"It isn't nice to steal someone else's prey, is it Kojou?"

"Then you also don't have the right to do whatever the hell you want in someone else's territory."

"If you put it like that, then I have no choice but to back down. But I will make sure you fight seriously."

The massive snake opened his mouth and fired off a beam of magical energy towards the bridge that connects the subfloat to the gigafloat.

Seeing that Kojou acted, he has promised not to let the island sink. And he needed to tell Vatler that he ran the area here, not him.

"Come, Mesarthim-Adamas!"

The divine sheep of adamantine appeared and blocked the massive beam, and glared at the reptile.

The snake which was massive in size was now looking only mediocre compared to the familiar Kojou summoned.

"Natsuki-chan, did the island guard get away safely?"

"Barely."

"Is that so, then please make sure no one gets involved from now on. And if you can help Asagi and the others. I will beat that crab down to the ground."

Kojou glared at Vatler with his red eyes once more, seeing him not doing anything, he went ahead to face the ancient weapon.

While walking the 4th Primogenitor muttered to himself.

"In the end I had to get involved in this shit! Murphy must hate my ass!"

The super weaponized crab from the forgotten era, launched a red death beam towards the living being approaching it at an impressive speed.

But what seemed to be a death sentence to anyone, was just a cheap shot to Kojou. His ever trusty hexagonal shield stopped the beam dead in its track.

Kojou was now standing very close to the ancient murder machine. Its crab-like appendages were sharp enough to hack him into two pieces if he got hit.

Another beam was launched at him, and before it could touch the new shield he had made, Sayaka came in between and blocked the beam.

"My Lustrous Scale has two abilities, nullification of physical attacks and a barrier that blocks all attacks which can become a blade stronger than any else!"

She quickly slashed off the two front legs of the machine and jumped on top of it, using its third leg as a stepping up board.

The strongest blade fell on top of the ancient superweapon and the attack was useless.

Sayaka made a surprised face but quickly slashed at it again, but the result was the same, the attack didn't connect.

"What?"

Both Kojou and Vatler were observing the machine and came to the same conclusion, Vatler being faster than Kojou.

"It's a barrier which represents attacks? It doesn't allow the weapon of the War Dancer which can sever spatial connections to make contact with its armour, making it useless." Vatler said acting like a narrator in this fight.

The divine crab shook itself and Sayaka was thrown down, she landed on her feet and was caught off guard by the beam that was approaching her.

She braced for impact, which never came. She found herself being held by strong hands and was shifted to one side.

Her eyes fluttered open to find Kojou holding her and a shield blocking the attack meant for her.

He removed his hand from her shoulders and quickly took her hand in his own and began running.

He stopped after reaching behind a demolished wall sufficient for cover.

"Akatsuki Kojou-"

"No need, I will do what I said."

Sayaka blushed at that, remembering him saying that he will protect her from now on.

"It has a barrier, adaptation, death beams, sharp legs, and elemental conversion. What a troublesome thing, no wonder it is called the weapon of gods."

Kojou said, understanding that this beast was nothing like the two bit terrorists he had fought before.

"Elemental conversion? When did it use that?" Sayaka asked in confusion.

"It used it to repair its legs when you were on top of it, trying to slash it into two."

Kojou explained to the War dancer while keeping an eye on the civilization doomer robot.

As if to annoy Kojou, the Nalakuvera started flying using a thruster below its torso.

"And now its flying, just fan-fucking-tastic!"

"Akatsuki Kojou, do something. If that thing manages to reach into one of the giga floats then the casualties will be massive."

"Yeah, I know!"

'Sorry Asagi, Giga Floats over subfloats any day of the week.'

"Get ready, Kirasaka! Come, Regulus-Aurum!"

The Lion of gold launched into the free atmosphere running hundreds of metres above the subfloat and coming crashing down at the Ancient weapon with a ferocity befitting a lion of its stature.

Even before making contact, the electromagnetic waves radiating from its body fried anything electric in the subfloat.

The pressure from its magical power made the air in the subfloat heavier, and the shockwave due to it breaking the sound barrier made waves in the water around the subfloat.

And with a crash that cloaked the subfloat in dust, the familiar of Kojou smacked the Nalakuvera into the lowest depths of the man-made island.

Destroying the floor on which Kojou and Sayaka were standing too.

Kojou managed to catch Sayaka easily while falling, and attempted to slow down his fall.

But he also plummeted down speedily, he couldn't let the ancient weapon alone in the depths of Itogami Island.
