Shin Megami Tensei: New Domain

( Ena's POV )

With the school being attacked I wanted to rush into action but before that, I noticed something strange, the last time with the bicorns, they came in and attacked immediately, but this group of different demons were taking their time getting in, There was nothing that could be holding them back so that led me to think that they were enjoying terrorizing the people inside the school.

That gave me time to plan my attack and, more importantly, to cover my identity, I still needed to find my family, and the last thing I needed was for the teachers to see that I could defeat demons and for them to guilt trip me into thinking it was my duty to protect them.

I took refuge in another crumbling building that looked like it was once a clothing store, the place looked like it had been ransacked, but I was able to find a black hoodie and a scarf to cover my mouth, with that matter settled, we climbed up to the roof of the store to observe the enemy.

The most troublesome enemies were the ones that could fly, they had the classic appearance of a demon, a medium-sized body, bat-like wings, and carrying a pitchfork, it was better to take them first.

From the roof of the building, pixie and I prepared our magic attacks, I launched a wave of cold that froze three of the demons, and Pixie cut down three more with her magic, there were still five flying demons left, but I let Pixie take care of them.

Kobold and I jumped off the roof and ran to the school entrance where most of the demons were gathered, while we were running I felt my blood warming up and my power multiplying, it seemed that my ability was activated again, I appeared in front of one of the demons who were small humanoids with purple skin, I gave a mighty swing and the demon immediately turned into black dust and particles of light, then I tried to freeze one of the demons but my attack was not very effective, he must have resistance to that element or something like that, Well nevermind Kobold and I take our mallets and wipe out the demons at the entrance, then we ran in different directions to finish off the rest of the demons surrounding the building and on my side, I came across a group of familiar horse demons, I created a spiked ball at the end of my club and with a swing, I blew up another head.

Another bicorn tried to charge at me, but I grabbed his head with one hand and lifted him up as if he was nothing, that strength he had felt so unreal, I slammed the demon into the ground and then released a wave of cold to finish off the rest of the bicorns.

I made a huge leap and aimed at the back of the building where the last group of demons were gathering, while I was in the air, I saw a lot of students looking back at me from the windows, and when I saw that my friends were okay, that put a smile on my face.

Behind the school, there was a large group of slimes and since they were very sensitive to magic the moment I landed I created a ring of ice on the ground that spread outwards and all the slimes ended up impaled, when there were no more enemies left I felt my ability deactivating and this time my body was completely paralyzed and I fell forward face first, I was on the ground for a few seconds before the kobold appeared and carried me back to the store, where I filled up on coffee until I could move again.

Ena: You guys wait here, I need to talk to my companions.

Pixie: Wait, master, it's dangerous to go alone, take us with you.

*Woof*

Ena: You guys are going to scare a lot of people.

Pixie: You can do something with your phone thingy right?

Pixie started tapping on my phone screen, waiting for something to happen, and to my surprise, something did happen, her body became transparent, and she was absorbed by my phone, from where we could hear her voice.

Pixie: [ This is perfect, now there should be no problem with us accompanying you. ]

Ena: I guess not.

Another function was activated on my phone, and after capturing Kobold on my phone, I returned to the school by jumping over the fence the same way I left, the main entrance was firmly barricaded, but I wasn't planning to enter through there.

With a couple of high jumps, I reached the roof of the school, I left my bag with weapons and coffee cans up there, and I entered the building, through the windows, I saw the students looking dejected and demoralized.

I went to my classroom, and when I opened the door, all eyes were on me, but only Ann and Ryuji reacted, they stood up from their seats and ran towards me, and Ann started patting my body.

Ryuji: Dude, you're okay, we thought you didn't-

Ann: Don't say that! What happened to you out there?

Ena: I managed to give those horses the slip, but more importantly, what happened to the teachers?

Ann: everyone is in a meeting thinking about what we should do.

I doubt they would come up with anything other than staying inside the school and waiting for help, but at least I was thankful that they weren't in my way at the moment.

Ena: Listen, we need to talk, you guys go find Io and Aigis and meet me on the roof.

Ann: What is this about Ena?

Ena: Trust me okay, I only trust you to hear this.

With that I left the room and returned to the roof, I put on the hoodie and scarf I wore during the fight and I called out to Pixie who floated over my shoulder, and so I waited for a few moments, when the door to the roof opened, and my friends saw me, obviously they were surprised and their mouths dropped open.
