Rule of Fate

Chapter 13: First Piece (Part 3)

The Plan

Before the chaos erupted, Brooklyn interjected, stepping forward with his usual calm demeanor.

Brooklyn: "Alright, I'll handle the monsters. You all take care of Finn. At least you have the power to defeat him… I guess."

Aish: (sternly) "Brooklyn, no jokes. This is serious."

Brooklyn's aura shifted, turning dark and intense. His voice grew cold, his confidence

unwavering.

Brooklyn: "Death is supreme. If someone wishes, this genie will fulfill their request."

Aish sighed, recognizing Brooklyn's seriousness.

Aish: "Fine. Brooklyn, John, Emma, and Charles—your squads will engage the mad

monsters. Everyone else, focus on the intelligent ones. Felix, Mia, Hems—you stay with the truck and protect it. It's our lifeline."

Felix: (grinning) "Got it. We'll keep it safe."

Zoya: (to Jerome, running over to him) "Jerome, listen to me. Take care of yourself. If

anything happens, communicate with me directly. I'll be busy fighting, but don't let anything happen to Vairaj."

Jerome: (nodding) "I understand. Don't worry, I've got this."

Zoya gave him a firm nod before returning to her squad, her determination clear.

The Battle Begins

Finn raised his massive arms, pointing at his monster army.

Finn: "My slaves, your king commands you! Feast on the humans. Show no mercy!"

The monsters charged, a chaotic swarm of teeth and claws.

Brooklyn: (spinning his shuriken) "Alright, squad. Let's give these monsters a warm

welcome."

Brooklyn's shuriken sliced through the air, decapitating multiple mad monsters in one throw.

Emma: (transforming molecules into shields and weapons for her squad) "Stay together!

Protect each other!"

John: (summoning fire and wind elements) "Let's turn up the heat!"

Firestorms erupted among the monsters, scattering them momentarily.

Charles: (racing through the battlefield, his speed a blur) "I'll draw their attention. Keep the path clear!"

Meanwhile, Aish's central squad engaged Finn directly.

Ganya: (charging at Finn) "Time to see if your bark is worse than your bite!"

Finn swung a massive fist, but Ganya dodged effortlessly, slashing at the titan's arm.

Finn: (roaring) "You'll regret that, little human!"

Zoya's aura glowed brightly as her Brightening Angel ability activated, giving her squad critical insights into the monster's movements.

Zoya: "Aish, he's going to attack from the left! Be ready!"

Aish: (using psychic powers to create a barrier) "Got it. Everyone, hold your ground!"

---

Jerome in Action

Jerome activated his upgraded armor, flying into the air and analyzing the battlefield. His

targeting system locked onto clusters of intelligent monsters.

Jerome: "Vairaj, Aaron, on me! Let's cut through their ranks!"

Vairaj: "Right behind you!"

Aaron: (swinging his axe) "Let's make this quick!"

The trio coordinated their attacks, striking key targets and weakening the monster army's formation.

---

Finn's Overwhelming Power

Despite the troops' efforts, Finn's sheer size and strength proved challenging. He swatted

soldiers away like flies, his laughter echoing across the battlefield.

Finn: "Is this all you've got? Pathetic!"

Ganya: (gritting his teeth) "Don't let up! We can take him down!"

The battle raged on, the warriors giving everything they had against overwhelming odds. The mission to retrieve the fragment had begun, and the outcome would determine the fate of their world.

The Chaos of Battle Intensifies

The battlefield turned into a spectacle of raw power, precision, and strategic brilliance.

Brooklyn, standing amidst the chaos, summoned his dual swords, the blades glimmering with a faint blue aura. His voice carried authority as he commanded the troops.

Brooklyn: "Follow my command! We're not losing here."

With a swift motion, Brooklyn activated his clone ability. Ten identical versions of him

materialized, each wielding the same deadly swords, moving in unison. The monsters,

unable to differentiate between the real Brooklyn and his clones, lunged at them.

Brooklyn: (grinning) "Poor things don't even know what's coming."

In seconds, Brooklyn and his clones tore through the monsters. Limbs vanished, and

monstrous roars turned to silence.

Jerome Takes the Sky

Jerome: (flying above) "Alright, time to rain destruction!"

His upgraded armor opened its missile ports. A barrage of missiles streaked through the air, hitting clusters of monsters, creating fiery explosions. The shockwaves sent smaller

monsters flying into the air before they vanished upon death.

Jerome: "Group eliminated. Let's keep going"

Charles and Nate CombinePowers

Charles: (to Nate) "Hey, ready for a quick clean-up?"

Nate: (smirking) "Always."

Charles sped through the battlefield, grabbing nearly 20 monsters in a blur of motion and bringing them to a central spot.

Charles: "All yours, Nate!"

Nate: (stepping forward and screaming) "Let's see if you can handle this!"

The sonic wave from Nate's voice obliterated the monsters, their skin disintegrating instantly, leaving only skeletons that disappeared into dust.

Charles: (grinning) "Efficient as always."

Nate: "You bring 'em, I'll scream on 'em."

Smith and John in Action

Smith was blasting away at the monsters with his shotgun, the recoil barely affecting his steady aim.

John: (landing beside him) "Smith, what are you doing? Change into a monster already!"

Smith: "Not yet. Aish's orders were to stay human for now."

John: (rolling his eyes) "Fine. But don't blame me if you miss all the fun."

John summoned his elemental clones, five identical versions of himself, each glowing with a different elemental aura.

John Water: "We've got a fireball incoming. Let's handle this."

Finn unleashed a massive fireball, its heat distorting the air.

John Water: (unleashing a cascade of water) "Dousing it!..."

The fireball sizzled and evaporated into steam before it could land.

John Earth: "Rock smash, coming up!"

A massive boulder formed in John Earth's hands and was hurled toward Finn, shattering against his chest and staggering him.

John Wind: (summoning a storm) "Let's blind him!"

The storm kicked up dust and debris, reducing Finn's visibility to zero.

John: "Teamwork for the win!"

While Finn struggled to regain his vision, Ganya saw an opening.

Ganya: (his sword glowing yellow) "Thunder Blade Strike!"His sword crackled with electricity as he dashed toward Finn, aiming for his neck. The blade made contact, leaving a deep gash.

Ganya: "Gotcha!"

However, Finn began regenerating immediately, the wound sealing itself within moments.

Finn: (laughing) "Nice try, human. But you'll need more than that to stop me!"

Ganya: "Oh, don't worry, I've got plenty more where that came from."

Meanwhile, Vairaj and Aaron were cutting through the hordes of monsters with precision.

Aaron: (swinging his axe) "Keep up, Vairaj!"

Vairaj: (parrying a monster's attack with his swords) "You wish! Let's see who gets more

kills."

The duo worked in perfect sync, their strikes fluid and devastating.

Vairaj: "Another one down! I'm 15!"

Aaron: "19. Catch up, genius!"

Lisa tossed a series of bombs onto the ground, detonating them with perfect timing.

Lisa: "Boom! That's how you make an entrance!"

From atop the truck, Hems used his magic bow to pick off monsters from a distance.

Hems: "Nice explosions, Lisa. You've got style."

Mia: (copying Hems' arrows) "Let's double the damage."

The copied arrows rained down, creating havoc among the monsters.

Emma used her enhanced agility to leap into the fray, touching monsters to weaken them.

Emma: "Your turn, Raven!"

Raven, wielding her multi-weapon gun, fired precise shots, each blast taking down a

monster.

Raven: (smirking) "One by one, they fall."

Emma: (grinning) "Good shot, Raven. Keep it up!"

Raven blinked, momentarily stunned by the compliment.

Raven: "Wait, did a God Rank just praise me?"

Emma: "You earned it. Now focus!"

Finn Roars in Anger

As his army was being decimated, Finn roared in frustration, the ground trembling beneath him.

Finn: "You think this is over? I'll crush you all!"

The battle raged on, each squad pushing themselves to their limits. The first true test of the warriors was unfolding, and their resolve would determine their survival.

The Chaos of Battle Intensifies

The battle raged on as Finn's towering presence loomed over the battlefield, his monstrous slaves falling one by one. The God Rank warriors and their squads showed incredible coordination, but Finn's resilience and the sheer number of monsters tested their limits.

Brooklyn Leads the Charge

Brooklyn, surrounded by his ten clones, continued to draw the attention of the monsters.

Brooklyn: "Keep your eyes on me, you ugly beasts. I'm not done playing yet!"

The clones move fluidly, striking monsters with precision. Brooklyn himself leapt into the air, his dual swords glowing with energy. He sliced through three monsters simultaneously before landing gracefully.

Brooklyn (to his clones): "Divide and conquer. We're thinning the herd!"His clones nodded silently and fanned out, creating confusion among the monsters.

Jerome and Zoya's Concern

High above the battlefield, Jerome analyzed the situation using his armor's advanced

sensors.

Jerome: "Brooklyn's holding them, but Finn's regeneration is ridiculous. We need to weaken him."

Zoya, who had temporarily returned to Aish's squad, used her Brightening Angel ability to

scan the battlefield.

Zoya: (to Jerome via communicator) "I see Finn's weak point—it's his chest. There's a faint glow near his heart. That might be where the energy from the piece is concentrated."

Jerome: "Got it. I'll relay that to Ganya and the others."

Ganya and Finn Clash

Ganya stepped forward, gripping his sword tightly, its red and yellow glow oscillating with

power.

Ganya: "Hey, Finn! Enough hiding behind your slaves. Face me!"

Finn, towering over Ganya, grinned maliciously.

Finn: "A little human thinks he can challenge me? Amusing."

Finn swung his massive fist, aiming to crush Ganya, but Ganya sidestepped and slashed at Finn's arm. The volcanic heat of his sword left a deep burn, but Finn roared and retaliated with a massive backhand, sending Ganya skidding across the ground.

Aish: (telepathically) "Ganya, stay focused. We've identified his weak spot—aim for his

chest."

Ganya: (standing up, smirking) "You didn't have to tell me twice."
