Chapter 12: First Piece (Part 2)
The Day of the Mission
The camp buzzed with nervous energy as troops assembled in formation, ready to embark on the critical mission to retrieve the first fragment. The morning air was crisp, and the sounds of preparation filled the space: the hum of engines, the clinking of weapons, and the murmurs of warriors bidding each other luck.
Aish stood in front of the assembled squads, his commanding presence silencing the noise.
Aish: "Warriors! Today is the day we prove our worth. The mission is clear—retrieve the
fragment and eliminate any monsters that threaten our survival. We move in squads, as
planned. Each of you has a role to play. Trust your comrades and stay Communication be key. Use your bracelets to report any irregularities."
He paused, scanning the determined faces before him.
Aish: "Remember, the truck carrying our supplies and equipment will be protected by the God ranks Mia, Hems, and Felix. The rest of us will secure the path forward. I'll be leading the central team, along with Zoya, Ganya, and other key members. Surrounding us will be the defensive squads. Brooklyn, your squad will take points ahead. Everyone, mount your motorbikes and prepare to move out!"
The warriors responded with a resounding cheer, their resolve unshaken despite the
dangers ahead.

The Squad Assignments
Brooklyn approached his squad with his usual laid-back demeanor, though his eyes were sharp and focused.
Brooklyn: (to Vairaj, Jerome, and Aaron) "Alright, rookies. You're with me. Stick close, keep your heads down, and follow my lead. If you wander off or act reckless, I won't be dragging your sorry selves back. Got it?"
Aaron: (grinning) "Got it, Captain. Don't worry, we'll keep up."
Jerome: "Let's just make sure you don't fall asleep mid-battle, Brooklyn."
Brooklyn: (chuckling) "Good one, tin man. Let's see if that armor of yours can keep up with my shuriken."
Aaron: (clutching his axe) "Let's just focus on staying alive and getting that fragment."
Meanwhile, Zoya stood beside Aish, her expression calm but her eyes betraying her
nervousness.
Zoya: (glancing at Vairaj and Jerome) "Be safe, okay? Don't do anything stupid."
Vairaj: (smirking) "Stupid? Me? Never."
Jerome: (rolling his eyes) "We'll be fine, Zoya. Focus on your part of the mission."
Aish, standing next to Zoya, spoke firmly.
Aish: "Zoya, you're with me, Ganya, and the others in the central squad. Your Brightening
Angel power will guide us, so stay focused. We'll protect you, but you must trust in your
vision to lead us."
Zoya: "Understood, Commander."
The Departure
The warriors mounted their motorbikes, the engines roaring to life as the squads prepared to depart. A large, armored truck followed behind, packed with supplies and flanked by Mia , Hems, and Felix.
Mia: (to Felix and Hems) "This truck is our lifeline. If anything happens to it, we're in trouble. Stay sharp."
Hems: "Don't worry. No monster's getting past my magic arrows."
Felix: (cracking his knuckles) "If they do, they'll regret it."
The convoy began moving, a line of motorbikes snaking through the barren terrain. The warriors remained silent, their focus on the task ahead.
Brooklyn: (riding ahead with his squad) "Keep your eyes open. This route might look clear, but monsters could be lurking anywhere."
Vairaj: "Got it, Captain. No surprises."
Aaron: (gripping his axe) "Let's hope it stays that way."
As they moved, Zoya glanced back at Vairaj, Jerome, and Aaron one last time.
Zoya: (muttering) "Stay safe, all of you."

The First Encounter
About an hour into the journey, the convoy reached a dense forest. The atmosphere grew tense as the warriors scanned their surroundings, weapons at the ready.
Aish: (raising his hand) "Halt. We're entering dangerous territory. Defensive squads, spread out. Brooklyn, take your team ahead and scout for any threats."
Brooklyn: (nodding) "You heard the man. Let's move, team."
Brooklyn's squad advanced cautiously, the sound of rustling leaves and distant growls
putting them on edge.
Jerome: (whispering) "Something's out there. I can feel it."
Brooklyn: "Stay close. If anything moves, we take it out together."
Suddenly, a group of mad monsters burst from the trees, their roars echoing through the forest.
Brooklyn: (grinning) "Here we go. Time to show them what we've got."
Vairaj: (drawing his weapons) "Let's do this!"
The battle erupted, with Brooklyn's squad holding their ground against the monsters.
Meanwhile, the central squad prepared for the next stage of the mission.
Aish: "Stay focused, everyone. This is just the beginning."
The mission had officially begun, and the warriors braced themselves for the challenges ahead.
Encounter in the Forest
The dense forest rustled with movement, the ominous growls of monsters echoing through
the trees. Brooklyn's squad had just eliminated a group of mad monsters with his signature shuriken, slicing through them like a blade through paper.
Brooklyn: (speaking through the bracelet) "Brooklyn to Aish. All clear. No injuries. We're
moving forward."
Aish: "Good work. Keep leading, and remain cautious. If something feels off, report
immediately."
As they advanced deeper, Zoya suddenly stopped, clutching her head as her Brightening Angel ability activated.
Zoya: "Wait! Stop! Don't take this path."
The troops froze, turning to look at her.
Aish: "What is it, Zoya?"
Zoya: "There's danger ahead—a large group of mad monsters waiting to ambush us. We
need to change the route."
Aish trusted her judgment without hesitation.
Aish: "Everyone, follow Zoya's lead. Adjust the route accordingly."
Brooklyn grinned, turning to Vairaj and Jerome.
Brooklyn: "Well, looks like the angel saved our skins. Let's move."

Reaching the Plain Ground
After rerouting and cutting through the forest, the troops emerged into an open plain. The
other side of the plain was flanked by another dense forest. The silence was eerie, the air
thick with anticipation.
Suddenly, a loud rumble echoed, and the ground shook. Emerging from the forest was
a 40-meter-tall titan with grotesque features and glowing red eyes. His voice boomed across the plain.
Monster: "Ah, finally! Visitors. Do you have any problems? If yes, let's share them. Oh, wait. Let me do something first."
He let out a thunderous roar, the sheer vibration shaking the ground. The roar echoed for kilometers, summoning an army of monsters—mad titans and intelligent titans alike—who poured out of the forest.
Jerome: (activating his bracelet) "Analyzing the threat…" (pauses as the data loads) "A total of 178 monsters. 113 mad monsters and 65 intelligent ones. They've surrounded us in a way that escape is impossible."
Aish: "Understood. Prepare for battle!"
The monster laughed maniacally, his booming voice mocking the troops.
Monster: "I'll make this simple. I want all of you...in my stomach! Let me introduce myself. I am Finn, servant to Lord Marcus. Remember that name as you die—it might bring you comfort."
Ganya stepped forward, brandishing his sword with confidence.
Ganya: "Finn, you were made to be cut apart by this blade. I'll enjoy it."
Finn roared with laughter, pointing a massive finger at Ganya.
Finn: "You? You'll be my appetizer. The rest, my slaves will feast on. Come, show me what
you've got!"
