Reincarnation of The Strongest War Goddess

Vanessa saw darkness. It was so all encompassing. The darkness drifted through the atmosphere, back and forth shaking the voidless expanse and shaking the heavens.

Vanessa's brows creased and a force akin to a mountain knocked her down that she plummeted down into an abyss with a startling scream.

An endless fall. But then, memories poured in and then shocked.

She remembered that she was supposed to be dead. Vanessa remembered the way death felt and how it felt to be shattered from the inside out and also grinded to death by an unfathomable force.

She paused for a while. That man...

He clearly wanted to find the invincible path. Little did he know that Vanessa had already absorbed it.

Abandoning this thoughts, she wondered why she was alive and also wondered why she seem to be breathing in some kind of weird dimension.

An imaginary world? An invisible world?

Vanessa shook her head. If she was dead, she would not need to breath. If she refused to breath, it means courting death again.

While Vanessa was considering somethings, she quickly froze.

It was a voice. It didn't belong to her. Are there people here that she was not able to see? She would have used the Celestial Eye technique, but she did not feel any power within her body.

The man had crushed her meridians that she had lost her powers. At this moment, she was human.

She froze again.

It's that voice again.

"Rica, I have been told by the Dao Lord to go into seclusion."

"Hehe, Vanity you seem to devour everything in your power wake. At least, I can have my privacy."

"Are you complaining? As a Primordial God, are we supposed to to complain? The All powerful Dao Lord used origin to recreate our unfathomable powers, we have to stay in seclusion every once in a while to prevent the universe from being consumed. I think it's my turn."

"Hehe, have you heard from that old man?"

"You mean Ice? He's very cold. He doesn't talk much. It seems that he stays in seclusion most of the time."

Another voice joined in the conversation.

"I don't like that old man, he gives me the feeling that he could freeze me to death."

"Wizard, you're here. Are you going into seclusion too?"

"It's not my turn yet. I have until 100 years."

"A hundred years is not much time, do you believe you can achieve what you want in a hundred years?"

"Yes, my subject should be prepared for a perilous journey ahead."

"Hehe, I have a big news."

"Spill it Rica. You make me uncomfortable!"

"I have a lady. She seem to have died, however I'm making her a part of my harem."

"Rica, you've misleaded many female souls and I guess this female is just going to be used by you."

"It's her Fate anyways, she should be lucky she did not die."

From beneath the unfathomable void, Vanessa's eyes widened in horror. Her face turning deathly pale.

"She would hear you and directly take her life. It would be a loss Rica!"

"She isn't stupid!"

The Void seem to suddenly shatter around Vanessa and her five senses were instantly suppressed. She saw darkness so true that it was almost consuming. She was drown out, however she have already listened so far to their conversations and as a smart lady, she knew that these powerful existences were Primordial Gods. How many had it mentioned.

They had mentioned of an Icy old man. She did not wish to cross path with him. There was a Rica and then a Vanity.

She would not forget the wizard.

How many Primordial Gods are they?

Rica is actually male for him to speak about harem so casually. Will I be a part of his harem?

Her silver eyes sparked!

I can't let some existence control my life, I rather die a second time. How many years had it been since the first death, it seemed like it happened yesterday but in truth, a thousand years had passed since then.

She could not see, she could not hear, she could not touch or feel, neither could she smell.

Vanessa used that period to calm herself and something flashed within her eyes.

He must have seen something within her to have chosen her.

Vanessa did not bother too much about it, she would find out the truth sooner or later.

After an abnormally long period of time, Vanessa's vision blurred. A piercing noise seem to infiltrate her ears with a deafening screech and her skin trembled.

Then, a voice spoke softly.

"Lil girl, how are you?"

Vanessa was upset. She immediately asked: "How long have I been suppressed?"

The Rica was honest. "A hundred years."

Vanessa asked: "What do you want from me?"

He was also honest. "You heard everything. Do I have to spell it out? To make you a part of my harem!" He was too direct.

Vanessa's body seem to pop in absolute rage, "do I look like shit to you? I'll rather kill myself than be used by you."

Vanessa immediately circulated her essence, the self-destruct method but then Rica said:

"Hold on!"

Vanessa could not see the person talking to her, but the person could see her, no doubt. But then, Rica said and Vanessa's body stilled.

"You have an invincible path. It's engraved within you."

Vanessa was calm. So calm that it was terrifying. But after a while, she asked: "Who are you?"

"I'm one of the seven Primordial Gods."

Vanessa's eyes widened.

Seven Sages?

Seven Primordial Gods? Is there something that is supposed to be done about this?

The Rica was very honest. "You should not kill yourself. I can grant you another life."

Vanessa's brows furrowed.

"Reincarnation?"

Rica's voice was suddenly tinged with excitement. "Yes. But first of all, your subconsciousness have to learn the Six Paths of Reincarnation!"

Vanessa was suddenly suspicious. "I actually listened to your discussion with God Vanity, you did not clearly care about me when you said I was just one unlucky soul. What happened now?"

Rica was once again honest. "That is exactly what I want them to think."

Vanessa was silent as she pondered for a moment. Then, her eyes were fierce and then, she said: "How do I learn the Six Paths of Reincarnation?"

Rica suddenly seem to laugh loudly and the void around exploded causing chills to run down Vanessa's spine.

"It's not done so casually! You will have to pick a card that would depend on how fast your power of comprehension would turn out."

Vanessa's expression sank.

"Cards?"

Rica was suddenly serious!

"Six Cards of Oblivion represents the six paths of reincarnation. Your comprehension sense can either be high or low!"

A powerful aura surged through the air and six cards hovered in the air.

Vanessa's brows creased.

She saw, Ace of Clubs...

Nine of Spades,

Jack of Hearts,

Two of Clubs,

Ace of Spades.

Vanessa was surprised. This are the cards for Fortune telling, or card readings... depends.

It still depends on her to chose the right card.

But then, Vanessa's eyes narrowed.

"Hey, there are five cards where is the sixth?"

Rica smiled and said: "Smart!"

The sixth card appeared, but it had a question mark on it.

Blank?

Vanessa shook her head and said: "There's an Ace of spades, Ace of Clubs, Jack of Hearts, Nine of Spades and Two of Clubs! The last one is supposed to be a Three of Spades?"

Vanessa's brows furrowed even deeper.

"Spades are powerful and feared in card readings. But when there are three, it's insurmountable!" Vanessa's eyes lit up.

She immediately chose the blank card.

Rica was shocked! How did she find out? Rica had deliberately hidden the sixth card in order to confuse her knowing how powerful the sixth card is. But she actually still fished it out.

The blank card is actually the Three of Spades. Spades were feared, and in return, the power of the universe is improved by three times.

The sixth card floated towards Vanessa and the other five vanished. When she grabbed it, it simply dissolved into her essence and it was as if another path to invincibility manifested within her essence.

Vanessa was excited.

Rica was not excited. That sixth card was for someone else. He hadn't expected Vanessa to be so smart. And he had actually lost the sixth card.

Rica hurriedly drew on the air. There were runes and symbols. Vanessa just needed to crack that symbols and codes to be bestowed the power of the Six Paths of Reincarnation.

Rica commanded sullenly. "Break the code!"

With that, the void became calm and quiet for Vanessa to start her deduction.

Vanessa took a deep breath and she stared at the runes and symbols. Her gaze was calm but it was etched with confusion. The runes were actually complex. It would indeed take some time to finally deduce anything at all.

She stayed in a state of laxity for an abnormal amount of time before she realized.
