Refining the Dao into Godhood: A Tale of the Jie Sect

In the Kunlun Mountain range, there is Qiankun within. Inside some inconspicuous peak, there may well be a Grotto Heaven—that is the cave dwelling opened by disciples of the Three Sects with their Divine Skills.

Yun Xiao's Primordial Golden Bowl contains the Dao of space and Doomsday Dao, Jin Ling's Dragon Tiger Ruyi nourishes the Dao of Yin and Yang, and Duobao's Duobao Tower embodies the Dao of sealing and suppression.

Originally, his understanding of the Innate Eight Diagrams was only form without substance, only comprehending the Great Daos of thunder, fire, and wind. Now, with the aid of various Dao contained in the spiritual platform, he has comprehended five other Great Daos, completely perfected the Innate Eight Diagrams Dao, and with the Returning to the Origin and the Dao contained in the Four Symbols Tower, he has comprehended the Innate Four Symbols Dao.

In his spiritual platform, the most powerful Dao is undoubtedly that contained within the Innate Treasures like the Four Swords of Slaying Immortal, Pangu Banner, and Tai Chi Diagram.

Sadly, with his current level of cultivation, he is yet unable to comprehend them.

He has opened up an Inner Scenery Land, transforming the Great Dao he has comprehended into a Dao tree. For every Great Dao understood, the Dao tree grows ten feet taller and one foot thicker, and a new branch will evolve on the main trunk.

The core of the Dao tree, and the foundation of everything, is naturally the Refining Great Dao!

Furthermore, discussing Dao with many fellow disciples has also brought him immense benefits. Discussing Dao with Lv Yue made him realize that Refining Plague could also be a part of the Refining Great Dao!

Discussing Dao with Duobao made him understand that techniques such as Artifact Refining, Refining Sword, and Refining Array could be integrated, and he also derived an Upper Pure World Sword Formation from this!

In addition, the enhanced understanding of the Great Dao of the Three Pure Ones has also given him some new ideas. Currently, the Three Pure Ones have a good relationship, and their disciples share what they have, but some of the core Daos of the Saints can only be learned by the direct disciples.

For example, the Primordial Nine Seals created by Yuanshi Tianzun can only be learned by the direct disciples of the Chan Sect, with the Upper Three Seals, while other disciples can only learn the remaining Six Seal Techniques.

The Divine Skills of Taiching Laozi, aside from those accompanying the Golden Core Great Dao such as Taiqing Divine Thunder, Taiqing Immortal Light, Taiqing True Fire, can only be learned by his direct disciple, Xuan Dou.

The law should not be lightly transmitted, nor should the Dao be lightly taught; he understands the two Saints' approach. That they allowed him to learn some Divine Skills is already a great kindness and mercy from the Saints!

He has no dissatisfaction at all!

Nevertheless, looking at the countless Dao contained in the spiritual platform, he couldn't help but conceive a bold idea.

Paths are made by walking; if the Saints don't teach, he could figure it out himself by deduction!

"One Qi Three Pure Ones should be based on the common aspects of the Great Dao of the Three Pure Ones. This disciple of mine should also have much research on the Dao of Yuqing and the Dao of Shangqing!"

"I was able to refine the origins of the three Divine Thunders precisely because I saw the core of the Three Pure Ones, thus using the Creation Furnace and the Innate Yi Dao to return them to the Origin!"

"If the concept of 'Three Pure Ones from One Qi' is reversed, and the Great Dao of each of the Three Pure Ones is thoroughly comprehended and understood, it may not be impossible to achieve One Qi transforming into the Three Pure Ones!"

Yun Xiao seemed thoughtful.

Thousands of years ago, she had witnessed with her own eyes how Xuanqing used the Creation Furnace to refine the Taiqing Divine Thunder, one technique revealing all techniques, their sister's Innate Origin indeed had similarities with the Three Pure Ones.

She meditated on the Gui Water Great Dao, Qiong Xiao on the Ren Water Great Dao, and Bi Xiao on the Gui Water Dao; all of them were branches of the Water Great Dao.

Hence, the speculation proposed by Xuanqing was indeed possible to become reality!

Of course, that would be assuming among the three sisters, somebody could integrate the three branches of the Great Dao.

"One Xiao transforming into Three Xiaos!"

Yun Xiao remained silent for a long time, as if pondering something; she vaguely sensed an epiphany that if they could completely merge the Origin Power of the three sisters, they could comprehend a great divine power.

Yet ever since she joined the Jie Sect and Tongtian blessed her with the Primordial Golden Bowl, she had been meditating on the Array Dao and the Doomsday Dao contained within the Primordial Golden Bowl.

Therefore, she had somewhat neglected the principles innate in her during her transformation.

"Of course, this is just an idea!"

Xuanqing spoke slowly: "The teacher, Grand Master, and Second Master are all transformations of the Pangu Primordial Spirit, which is somewhat different from the situation of you three sisters! Whether it can succeed or not still requires you three sisters to think it through."

Of course, he was merely planting a seed; whether it can take root and sprout, and even bloom and bear fruit, still depends on the wisdom and perceptiveness of the Three Xiaos sisters!

After bidding farewell to the Three Xiaos, he headed straight to the Shangqing Hall. He was preparing to travel away from the mountain; constantly cultivating behind closed doors would not speed up his comprehension of the Dao's profundity.

The War of the Witch-Demons had only begun ten thousand years ago; both sides were relatively restrained and Primordial was temporarily peaceful, a good opportunity to go down the mountain in search of chances!

However, to be cautious, he still borrowed the Golden Radiance Crown from Daoist Duobao to conceal his form and aura, avoiding too much karma while traveling.

"Searching for the Dao in Kunlun for tens of thousands of years, dreaming a thousand dreams beneath Qilin Cliff. By chance, the sublime methods of the Three Pure Ones were obtained, from beyond the ninefold clouds, taking pride above the divine immortals. Today, I shall ride the wind away, another day I shall point my sword towards Daluo Heaven!"

"Off I go! Off I go!"

Having received the Tongtian Sect Master's agreement, and borrowing the Golden Radiance Crown from Duobao, everything was ready, and Xuanqing did not hesitate to mount his sword and leave Kunlun Mountain.

This time he left the mountain at the Taiyi Realm, and at once felt the vastness of the sky and the sea, free to soar and roar.

In an instant, a rainbow pierced through the sky and reappeared tens of thousands of miles away!
