Haru was now Infront of Blackthorn city gym, as it was opened he walked in with his team, as he saw her it was Clair.

Clair looked at Haru. "I see new challenger, How many badge do you ha-". She just stopped, looked at Haru face as she wishlist. "Wil damm your hot, what is you name cutie".

Haru just blinked as he spoke in his mind. "Did she really forgot about me, It has only been 6 years"

Haru just looked at Clair as he spoke. "Um it is me Ethan Haru Bit harmonia"

Clair Blinked, she squinted as she finally. "Oh it is you". She just sigehd. "Ok first I would like to apologise for what I did to 6 years go of kicking you out the gym when first one, and second I don't regret saying what I said".

Haru just looked at her as he spoke. "I am 16, also I have 6 badge so your my 7th"

Clair looked at him. "And I ma 21 your point, also i don't it will be repeat from last year".

Jessie then spoke as he said. "Ok, so what the hell was the start of this".

James just srugged. "I wish I knew".

Casey then spoke as she looked at them. "Did she try and first with Haru because I think that what just happened"

Clair smirked as she overheard Casey's comment. "Flirting? Maybe, maybe not. Who knows?" She flipped her hair confidently, then turned her attention back to Haru. "Anyway, let's get this battle started. I hope you're ready to face the strongest dragons in Johto."

Haru adjusted his bracelet with the Keystone attached. "Oh, I'm ready, Clair. Let's see if you've improved since the last time I was here."

Clair raised an eyebrow. "Oh, I've definitely improved. I'm not the same trainer you battled six years ago, and I'm going to show you why."

As the group moved to the battlefield, Jessie leaned toward Casey. "This is going to be entertaining. Haru might have his hands full with both the battle and Clair's attitude."

Casey snickered. "Honestly, I think Haru can handle it. Let's see if Clair can keep up."

The battlefield was set, the referee announced the match rules: a 5v5 battle, with no substitutions allowed. Clair released her first Pokémon, Dragonair, while Haru sent out Electivire.

Clair smirked. "Dragonair, let's start this with Dragon Pulse!"

Haru stayed calm. "Electivire, counter with Thunderbolt!"

The two attacks collided in a dazzling display of light, shaking the battlefield. Haru analyzed Clair's strategy, knowing that she would try to exploit any weakness. Electivire managed to overpower Dragon Pulse with its raw electric power, striking Dragonair and dealing heavy damage.

Clair clenched her fist. "Not bad, Haru. But don't get cocky. Dragonair, use Agility and follow up with Aqua Tail!"

Dragonair swiftly moved across the field, striking Electivire with a powerful Aqua Tail. The hit was solid, but Electivire stood its ground.

Haru smirked. "Electivire, finish it with Ice Punch!"

With a quick move, Electivire's icy fist landed a direct hit on Dragonair, knocking it out. The referee declared the first round in Haru's favor.

Clair returned Dragonair and sent out her second Pokémon, Kingdra. She crossed her arms. "Let's see how you handle this one, Haru."

Haru nodded and called back Electivire, sending out Swampert instead. The crowd could feel the tension rising as the two water-type Pokémon faced off. Clair grinned. "Kingdra, use Dragon Dance!"

Haru smirked. "Swampert, counter with Surf!"

The battlefield erupted as Surf hit Kingdra. While it took some damage, the Dragon Dance boost made it faster and stronger. Kingdra retaliated with Hydro Pump, dealing significant damage to Swampert, but Haru held firm.

"Swampert, Mega Evolve!" Haru shouted, activating his Keystone.

In a flash of light, Swampert transformed into its Mega Evolution. The sheer power radiating from it was enough to make Clair's confident expression waver.

"Swampert, finish this with Earthquake!" Haru commanded.

The battlefield shook violently as Swampert's attack hit Kingdra with immense force, knocking it out. Haru was now leading 2-0.

Clair gritted her teeth and returned Kingdra. "You're good, but this isn't over yet. Go, Dragonite!"

The massive dragon landed on the battlefield with a roar, intimidating everyone except Haru.

Jessie leaned over to James. "This is getting intense. Can Haru handle that beast?"

James nodded. "If anyone can, it's him."

Haru smiled and called back Swampert, sending out his final Pokémon, Gyarados. The massive red serpent towered over the battlefield, earning a gasp from the crowd—and Clair.

"What on earth have you been feeding that thing?" Clair asked, half-impressed and half-annoyed.

Haru chuckled. "Just some good training. Let's see how your Dragonite handles it."

Clair smirked. "Dragonite, Thunder Punch!"

Haru countered calmly. "Gyarados, Dragon Dance!"

Dragonite's Thunder Punch landed, but Gyarados tanked the hit and used the opportunity to boost its stats with Dragon Dance. The tide of the battle was shifting as Gyarados grew faster and stronger.

"Now, Gyarados, use Waterfall!" Haru commanded.

The powerful Waterfall attack slammed into Dragonite, dealing significant damage. Clair refused to back down. "Dragonite, use Draco Meteor!"

The arena lit up as meteors rained down on Gyarados. The attack hit hard, but Gyarados was still standing, albeit barely.

Haru smiled. "Time to end this. Gyarados, Hyper Beam!"

The massive beam of energy hit Dragonite directly, knocking it out

Clair smirked as she saw the exchange between Haru and Houndoom. "Houndoom doesn't seem too thrilled about this matchup. You sure you're ready for this, Haru?"

Haru shrugged with a small grin. "Ready or not, I've got a strategy. Let's see how this plays out. Houndoom, let's go!"

Houndoom reluctantly got into battle stance, still giving Haru side glances that screamed, This is a bad idea. Clair wasted no time.

"Garchomp, use Earthquake!" Clair commanded.

The battlefield shook violently as Garchomp unleashed a devastating Earthquake. Houndoom managed to avoid the full force by leaping to the side, but it still took some damage.

Haru pointed forward. "Houndoom, hit it with Dark pukse!"

Despite its apprehension, Houndoom sent out a dark energy, which landed on Garchomp, inflicting damge. Garchomp's got hurt as he went back a few feet, as it started to leveling the playing field slightly.

Clair raised an eyebrow. "Clever move, but it's not enough. Garchomp, use Dragon Claw!"

The burned Garchomp charged at Houndoom with its claws glowing, but the damage was noticeably reduced due to the burn.

Haru smirked. "Perfect. Now, Houndoom, use Flamethrower!"

Houndoom let loose a powerful Flamethrower, striking Garchomp head-on. The burn continued to chip away at Garchomp's health, but it wasn't enough to take it down.

Clair clenched her fists. "Garchomp, finish this with Stone Edge!"

Garchomp summoned sharp stones that struck Houndoom with precision. This time, the attack was too much, and Houndoom fainted.

Haru recalled Houndoom with a smile. "You did great. Thanks, buddy."

Clair smirked. "One down, Haru. Who's next?"

Haru pulled out another Pokéball. "Time to bring in someone who's ready to handle this. Electivire, let's go!"

Electivire entered the battlefield, its electric energy crackling in anticipation. Clair raised an eyebrow. "An Electric-type against a Ground-type? Bold move."

Haru grinned. "Oh, it's more than just bold. Electivire, use Ice Punch!"

Electivire dashed forward with its fist glowing in icy energy, striking Garchomp directly. The move was super effective, and combined with the burn damage, it was enough to bring Garchomp down.

Clair sighed and returned Garchomp. "Not bad, Haru. But you've still got one more to deal with. Go, Altaria!"

The elegant dragon-like Pokémon took the field, its cotton-like wings giving it an almost serene appearance.

Haru smirked. "Electivire, you ready for round two?"

Electivire nodded, ready to take on the challenge. The battle wasn't over yet, and both trainers were determined to give it their all.

Clair then looked at Haru, as she then hold her ear rings. "Hey, if I defeated you too badly let's make it up with me taking you out on dinner".

Haru just looked at her. "You have mega stone as well don't you, also you went from hating me as a kid to want to date me?, what a weird world l".

Altaria body then glow, as it mega evolve, then Clari told her Altaria to use Dragon Dance and the Pokémon did, Haru then told Electivire to use while charges, as then Altaria dodge as the Could Dragon Pokémon use Dragon breath as it hit her, as Electivire went back as she got back up, as Haru told Electivire to use Ice Punch which was follows by a Brick Break as it sent Altaria back, but then it used another dragon Dance, Electivire then tryed to take down Altaria with an Ice punched but the Pokémon just moved as she hit him with a Dragon Breath, as then Clari told for a another Dragon dance and will that when Haru said this.

Haru just looked at her. "Ah fuck".

Clair then spoke. "Earthquake!"

And one attack was enough to take done Electivire, the ligthibg type Pokémon hit the wall, Haru then sent out Gyarados and it didn't take long for Half of the serpent Hp to be deleted at with one more dragon dance and earthquake it was night for Gyarados even do Gyarados was monster they was different between it and then Altaria who has stacked up.

Haru just sigehd as he looked at Swampert Pokeball. "I gess it is the battle of the Mega now's, go out budy".

Clair smirked, clearly enjoying the intensity of the battle. "A Mega Battle, huh? Let's see if your Swampert can keep up with my Altaria after all those Dragon Dances."

Haru threw Swampert's Pokéball, and the large Mud Fish Pokémon appeared on the battlefield, its stoic expression unshaken by the overwhelming power of its opponent.

Haru held up his Keystone, which began to glow. "Let's do this, Swampert! Mega Evolve!"

Swampert's body shimmered with energy as it transformed into its Mega form, its muscles bulking up and its presence becoming more intimidating.

Clair gave an approving nod. "Not bad, but it won't be enough. Altaria, use Earthquake!"

The battlefield shook as Altaria unleashed a devastating Earthquake, but Mega Swampert's dual Water/Ground typing rendered the attack ineffective.

Haru grinned. "Nice try, but that's not gonna work. Swampert, use Ice Punch!"

Swampert lunged forward with a powerful Ice Punch, landing a direct hit on Altaria. The move was super effective, and despite all the Dragon Dances, Altaria staggered from the attack, visibly weakened.

Clair grit her teeth. "Altaria, recover with Roost!"

Altaria glided back and rested momentarily, healing some of its injuries.

Haru clicked his tongue. "Smart move, but we're not letting you stack up again. Swampert, use Waterfall!"

Swampert rushed forward with immense speed, cloaked in a surge of water, slamming into Altaria. The impact pushed Altaria back, but it managed to stay in the fight.

Clair smirked. "Not bad, but you're still not in the clear. Altaria, finish this with Hyper Voice!"

Altaria released a powerful blast of sound energy that echoed throughout the battlefield, striking Mega Swampert hard.

Haru clenched his fists. "Swampert, hold on! Counter with Ice Beam!"

Swampert summoned its icy energy and unleashed a focused Ice Beam, striking Altaria head-on. The combination of Ice Punch and Ice Beam, both super effective, finally brought the Mega Altaria down.

Clair sighed and recalled her Pokémon, a small smile on her face. "Impressive. You've really grown since last time, Haru."

The referee raised a flag. "The winner is Haru!"

Jessie, James, and Casey cheered from the sidelines as Haru recalled his Swampert, giving it a proud smile. Clair approached him, still holding her Mega Stone.

"That was a good battle," she admitted. "You earned this." She handed over the Rising Badge.

Haru took it with a grin. "Thanks, Clair. That means a lot."

Clair smirked again. "But my offer still stands. Win or lose, I still owe you dinner."

Haru's face turned red as he muttered, "This world really is weird..."

Haru then remembered something. "Quick question, you hated me as a kid".

Clair then looked at him. "I didn't hate you, Plus I was teen back then, you tell me being the youngest gym leader then losing to kid what will happen".

Haru then looked at her. "Ok but um, why are you finding me so as you but it Hot".

Clair chuckled lightly, clearly amused by Haru's confusion. "Well, you've certainly grown up a lot since then. And... maybe I was a bit harsh when you were younger. But you've got this confidence now, and honestly, I think you're cute. Plus, there's something about that quiet determination you have now. It's... attractive."

Haru blinked a few times, his face turning slightly red. "I... um, thanks?"

Clair smirked, seeing his reaction. "It's alright, don't worry too much about it. Besides, you're a strong trainer now. That's what matters most. But I won't lie... you've definitely caught my attention in a way you didn't before."

Haru scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "Well, I guess people change over the years."

Clair leaned against the gym wall, arms crossed. "Yeah, they do. I'm not the same person I was back then either. I think we've both learned a lot since then."

The air between them softened as they both reflected on the years gone by. Haru smiled, now feeling more at ease. "I guess we both have. But, uh, I'm still not sure about this dinner thing…"

Clair raised an eyebrow, a playful glint in her eyes. "Oh, come on. One dinner isn't going to kill you. Let's just call it a celebration for your victory. After all, you earned that badge."

Haru hesitated for a moment before shrugging. "Alright, fine. But only because I've never had dinner with a Gym Leader before."

Clair laughed. "I promise it won't be as weird as you think."

As they walked out of the gym, Haru couldn't help but wonder how things had changed between them. What started as a rivalry had now turned into something unexpected, but maybe that was just part of growing up.

The group walked away, As Jessie then looked at him. "So um, going to explain".

Casey looked at him and then spoke. "How are you going to explain this to Whitney".

Haru just stopped as he remebe hsi Girlfriend. "Right I definitely need to talk to her".

James then spoke. "Just be happy we are having this discussion out of Gym and out of Clari ear shut".

Haru let out a sigh, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah, this is going to be... interesting. I just hope Whitney doesn't get too upset when I tell her about this whole situation with Clair. It was nothing, really, but I can already imagine how she might react."

Casey raised an eyebrow, a grin playing on her lips. "You know, if you ever need advice on handling relationships, I'm pretty sure Jessie has plenty of experience."

Jessie shot Casey a glare, crossing her arms. "Hey, it's not like I asked for this. Relationships are complicated. You just have to deal with it as it comes."

Haru nodded, understanding. "I know, but I'd rather deal with it head-on than let it linger. It's just... I don't know, everything's changing so fast."

James, ever the optimist, clapped Haru on the back. "Don't stress it too much, buddy. As long as you're honest with everyone, things will work out. Besides, you've got a strong team behind you."

Haru smiled at that, grateful for his friends' support. "Yeah, you're right. I'll talk to Whitney when we get the chance, and I'll make sure Clair understands that this doesn't change anything."

The group continued walking, with the tension lightened a bit, but Haru's mind still raced. How would Whitney react to his encounter with Clair? Would it really be as simple as talking it out, or would it complicate things further?

The journey was far from over, and with it, more challenges — both in and out of battle — awaited them. But for now, Haru was ready to face whatever came next, one step at a time.

Later that night, on his Phone with Whitney.

Whitney just blinked, as she just sighed from her side of the Phone. "Will that is something, also Tory Gym Challenge when you come to get my badge as your 8th badge is going to be so difficult".

Haru just sigehd as as he spoke back. "Yeah yeah I know, but ok this just happened".

Whitney then spoke back. "Listen, I am ok with your harem idea, I even agreed to it with the condition of I am always Number 1".

Haru then spoken back. "It was either that or have it arm broken".

Whitney then spoke back. "So what is she going to be part of this harem, or".

Hair then thought to him self. "I don't know, the reason I started to get a Harem, was to find the loved of my past life, will I can't say that".

Haru then said to Whitney through the phone. "Maybe".

Whitney let out a small chuckle on the other end of the phone. "You know, Haru, you're a lot more complicated than you look. But I get it. You're not sure how things are going to work out, and that's okay. You've got your reasons for what you do."

Haru leaned back, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah, it's not easy. Sometimes, I wonder if I'm doing the right thing, but I'm just trying to figure it all out. I've been through so much, and... well, it's hard to explain. I didn't expect any of this, especially not the harem thing. It just sort of happened."

Whitney sighed again, but this time it felt more like a comforting exhale. "You don't have to explain everything to me, Haru. I get it. But you've got to be honest with yourself, too. And if you're going to bring more people into your life, make sure you know what you want. We don't want any more misunderstandings like with Clair."

Haru smiled, appreciating her understanding. "Yeah, I hear you. I'll figure it out, I promise. It's just... right now, I'm focused on my battles and getting my badges. I don't want to complicate things more than they already are."

There was a pause on the other end of the line before Whitney responded, her tone softer. "Just make sure you're not hurting anyone along the way, okay? And don't forget about me while you're out there, conquering all these gyms. I'll be waiting for you to challenge me."

Haru chuckled, feeling a bit lighter. "I won't forget, Whitney. I'm coming for that 8th badge, and I'll be ready for the challenge."

Whitney's voice turned teasing. "You better be. I've got some tough tricks up my sleeve. Don't think it'll be easy just because you've been winning all your other battles."

"I wouldn't have it any other way," Haru replied with a grin, a sense of determination creeping back into his voice.

As the call ended, Haru sat there for a moment, thinking about everything Whitney had said. He had a lot to figure out, but with the support of his friends — and Whitney — he felt more confident that he could handle whatever came his way.

It was going to be a tough road ahead, but Haru was ready to face it head-on.
