Chapter 2: 2
Augustine Robert had been in the One Piece world for twenty years. The first stage of the system had been simple—change the world's trajectory, and the system would reward him.
For two decades, Augustine Robert had served as the Marine's political commissar, shaping its ideological framework, persuading those who could be reasoned with, and using force against those who couldn't. His influence had fundamentally altered the course of history, leading the Marines down an entirely new path.
Now, the world was 80% different from the original timeline. With that, the system's second stage activated. The more votes his world received, the greater his rewards.
A notification appeared before him. "Comparison of Summit Wars in Two Parallel Worlds. Countdown begins."

In both One Piece worlds, a massive light curtain appeared in the sky, visible to every single person. No matter where they looked, it remained in their vision, yet it did not interfere with their actions. As soon as they lowered their heads, it disappeared from sight.
In the original One Piece world, the Summit War had reached its peak. Neither side showed any signs of backing down. Then, suddenly, the battlefield fell silent. Every combatant, from the lowest Marine to the mightiest pirate, froze as they gazed up at the mysterious light screen.
"What the hell is this?" Whitebeard clenched his fist, his Tremor-Tremor Fruit power coating his knuckles as he swung at the screen. The air cracked, but the attack had no effect. The screen remained unmoved, like an immovable force beyond comprehension. Whitebeard frowned. This was no illusion. There was a real, unknown power at play. Marco and the other commanders were equally stunned—Whitebeard's attacks were absolute, yet this thing remained unscathed.
"Dad, could this be some new weapon of the Marines? I heard that scientist Vegapunk has been developing war technology," Marco suggested.
Whitebeard shook his head. "No, this is beyond anything Vegapunk could create. Besides…" He gestured toward the execution platform, where Sengoku's expression mirrored his own confusion.
Sengoku had already attempted to interact with the screen but found it immune to all interference. At first, he had assumed it was Whitebeard's doing. Now, he realized Whitebeard was just as clueless as he was.
"Garp! Ignore the screen! If the pirates advance now, we'll lose our dignity as Marines!" Sengoku snapped.
At the Revolutionary Army headquarters, the scene was no less chaotic. Sabo turned to Dragon. "Captain, a mysterious force has invaded. We have no way to trace its source!"
In the New World, the Four Emperors had also taken notice. Kaido and Shanks, locked in battle, momentarily ceased their clash to observe the anomaly.
Kaido frowned. "What the hell is that?"
Jack, standing beside him, offered, "Boss Kaido, should we sail closer to check it out?"
Without hesitation, Kaido delivered a crushing slap to Jack's head. "You idiot! You didn't even check if it's dangerous before suggesting we rush in?"
Shanks, maintaining his usual composure, turned to Benn Beckman. "What do you make of this?"
Beckman's eyes remained fixed on the light curtain. "Captain… I don't think this is something created by humans. If I had to guess… this might actually be a glimpse into another world."
Meanwhile, in the alternate One Piece world where Augustine Robert —no, Augustine Robert—existed, the situation was vastly different. The Marines were in the middle of a grand banquet. Kaido was waiting for his award, and everyone was celebrating Luffy's promotion to Admiral. Then, suddenly, the same enormous screen appeared in the sky.
"Is this some new entertainment for the banquet?" Akainu muttered.
Kizaru immediately activated his Observation Haki and scanned the area. "No… This is appearing all over the world."
Disruptions like this were impossible. The last remaining pirates had already been captured by Luffy. Who could be responsible? The World Government? Who would dare disrupt Augustine Robert's banquet?
"First-level alert! Now!"
「3...」

The countdown ended. Under countless nervous gazes, words slowly appeared on the screen.
"Comparison of Life in Parallel Worlds: Luffy from the Present World vs. Luffy from the Original World."
The reaction was immediate. Was this a joke? Even if two identical worlds existed, even if there were two Luffys, was there any need for comparison? Wouldn't their life paths be the same? How different could they possibly be?
In the original world, Luffy, standing on the execution platform's stone stairs, tilted his head in confusion. "Eh? That's me?" He grinned. "Heh, no way he's stronger than me!"
Sengoku's frown deepened. "Garp! It's your grandson again! No matter the world, you can't seem to teach him any discipline!"
Meanwhile, in Augustine Robert's world, Luffy had just donned his Admiral's cloak. Seeing himself compared to his alternate version, he blinked in surprise. "What's there to compare? No matter which world I'm in, I'm destined to be an excellent Marine!"
More text scrolled across the screen.
"This video showcases the past, the future, and the differences between the two worlds."
"Even the same person can walk entirely different paths depending on circumstances."
"The audience will vote on which life is better."
"At any moment, viewers may cast votes for the world they believe is superior."
"Both the winner and loser will receive a reward."
"Viewers may also send barrage comments during the video, but doing so consumes energy."
Before anyone could fully process this information, the text faded. The screen shifted, and two figures emerged.
On the left stood Luffy, clad in a Marine Admiral's uniform, radiating justice.
On the right stood Luffy, the carefree pirate, dressed in his usual straw hat and red vest.
For a moment, both worlds were silent. The people of the alternate world stared in shock.
"What's going on? Admiral Luffy was a pirate in that world?"
Garp, watching from the Marines' banquet, nearly choked on his drink. "What? My grandson was a pirate in the other world?"
Everyone who had ever known Luffy was equally stunned.
How could this be? How could the same person, in the same world, live such drastically different lives?
What was the cause?
Before anyone could formulate an answer, the camera pulled away, revealing a vast battlefield. The Summit War filled the screen.
Two completely different worlds. Two completely different Luffys.
Sengoku's expression twisted in disbelief. "I'm in the middle of bleeding out in a war, and you're all having a party?"
