One Piece : Captain, We’ve Arrived at Laugh Tale

Chapter 11: Chapter 11 : Luffy, We've Been Robbed

The sea was calm, with seagulls crying loudly in the sky.

On the pirate ship, Luffy and Zoro were locked in a push-up competition, having already passed 9,000 reps. Both were drenched in sweat, but neither was willing to back down.

Meanwhile, Carl was carefully guiding Nami through breathing techniques.

Nami didn't resist—she knew the sea was full of dangers, and if she could get stronger, she'd be more than happy.

However, Carl understood that Nami could only build a solid foundation over time. She couldn't suddenly gain immense strength unless she ate a Devil Fruit.

The Slip-Slip Fruit might suit her. Even if it wasn't powerful, it could at least help her survive.

Nearby, the lion Shiki was struggling to fish. He was a lion, yet Carl forced him to do human work—it was completely unreasonable.

But Shiki knew how terrifying Carl was. In the end, he had no choice but to obey.

Crack! Boom!

The deck suddenly splintered.

Luffy and Zoro paused, momentarily dazed. Their push-ups had damaged the ship's bottom. Luckily, the hull was strong enough—otherwise, the ship might have sunk.

"This ship is falling apart. We need a new one," Nami said.

"It's time for a change!" Luffy agreed. "This ship is just temporary. Soon, we'll have our own ship, and we'll sail straight into the Grand Line! I'm going to be King of the Pirates!"

Nami and Zoro both smiled.

Carl, however, knew the new ship would be theirs soon. Their next stop was Syrup Village, Usopp's hometown. There, the kind-hearted, blonde girl Kaya would help them get the Going Merry.

That was a fine ship!

"Alright, Nami, check if there are any islands nearby," Carl instructed. "We need to stop somewhere and buy a new ship. If we keep sailing like this, we might sink halfway."

He turned to Luffy and Zoro. "Your training is on hold until we get a new ship. You'll continue once we're set."

No one objected.

Carl's authority on the ship was clear—when it came to training, even the captain wouldn't argue. Luffy usually let things slide, but when Carl took charge, his influence could even surpass Luffy's.

Still, Carl understood that while he could handle everyday matters, when it came to the big decisions, Luffy had the final say.

The captain is the heart of a pirate crew—when it comes to major decisions, everyone must follow!

Nami checked the map and found that Syrup Village was nearby.

However, to Carl's surprise, they were soon ambushed by another pirate crew. He glanced at their flag but didn't recognize it. Someone on their ship, however, did:

A man with a distinctive beard and heart-shaped glasses—the current captain of the Black Cat Pirates, Jango the Hypnotist! His bounty: 9 million berries!

Alongside him were the Cat Brothers, Siam and Buchi, with a combined bounty of 7 million berries!

Carl hadn't expected to run into them here. What a coincidence. But it worked out—first, they'd deal with these guys, then head to Syrup Village to pick up Usopp. The crew would be complete.

"Luffy! It's the Black Cat Pirates!" Nami shouted in alarm.

Even though she knew Luffy was strong, her instincts as a thief still made her wary when faced with an attack.

But Luffy and Zoro? They were thrilled. Both were eager to fight.

Carl added, "Captain Luffy, the Black Cat Pirates' captain, Jango, has a bounty of 9 million berries. The Cat Brothers have a combined bounty of 7 million berries!"

A bounty?

That made Luffy and Zoro even more excited.

"Alright! Zoro, the two of us will handle this. Mr. Carl and Nami, guard the ship!" Luffy commanded.

Without hesitation, he grabbed Zoro and launched himself toward the enemy ship with a Gomu Gomu no Bazooka. Luffy landed gracefully on the deck, while Zoro, caught off guard by the sudden flight, crashed hard onto the floor.

Veins bulged on Zoro's forehead. He nearly drew his swords to cut Luffy down.

"Captain Jango! They're attacking!"

The Black Cat Pirates panicked. Weren't they supposed to be the ones robbing the Straw Hats?

And what the hell just happened?!

Did that straw hat kid's arm… stretch?!

Jango quickly pulled out his twin circular blades and shouted, "Quick! Everyone attack together! Cat Brothers, get in there!"

The pirates rushed forward with bloodthirsty expressions.

But against Luffy and Zoro?

These small fry didn't stand a chance.

"Gomu Gomu no Whip!"

With a single sweeping kick, Luffy sent a group of pirates flying into the sea.

"Three Sword Style! Tatsumaki!"

Zoro spun with his three swords, creating a whirlwind that took down another wave of enemies.

Their overwhelming strength was on full display, making Jango and the Cat Brothers freeze in fear.

Even so, the Cat Brothers leaped forward.

Zoro glanced at them and said, "Captain, leave these two to me. Their combined bounty is seven million berries."

Luffy grinned. "Alright! Then I'll take care of the nine-million-berry captain. Zoro, be careful not to wreck the ship too much—we're taking it for ourselves!"

For once, Luffy's logic was sharp.

Their current ship was barely holding together, and now these pirates were trying to rob them? It only made sense to steal their ship instead. A pirate robbing another pirate—completely fair!

Zoro smirked. "Got it, Captain!"

Without wasting time, he charged at the Cat Brothers, not bothering with any greetings. Since they weren't swordsmen, he wasn't particularly interested in them. That also meant their usual tricks wouldn't work on him.

However, the Cat Brothers weren't weak.

Their speed and jumping ability were excellent, and their clawed weapons were razor-sharp. The two of them worked together seamlessly.

Zoro started with a few simple strikes, testing their abilities. When he saw they weren't going down easily, he got serious.

He unleashed techniques like Rokuogan no Tsuji (Three Thousand Worlds), Gyukaku (Bull Horns), and Tora Gari (Tiger Hunt)—but at best, he only managed to push them back.

Meanwhile, the Cat Brothers kept landing hits on him with their precise teamwork and agility.

Even though Carl had trained Zoro for a few days, it wasn't enough time for significant improvement.

In the original story, Zoro struggled against the Cat Brothers for a while—and now, things weren't much different.

On the other side, Luffy had already wiped out all the small fry and was now facing Jango.

Jango was visibly nervous but tried to act calm. He pulled out his two circular saws, suspending them with thin ropes, and said, "Look at these rings! Once I say 'One, Two, Jango!' you'll fall into a deep sleep!"

Luffy blinked, then stared at the swinging saws with genuine curiosity.
