Chapter 394: Chapter 394: **The Spring of Nawaki and the Seed of Resentment - Jiraiya!**

In the courtyard.
"Queen Sara, you've come in person. Is there something wrong with the Rouran Kingdom?" Reiki asked directly, skipping formalities.
"No," Sara replied. "I just wanted to see the place you chose for us in the Land of Fire. It's very satisfactory. When I return, I'll begin preparations for the relocation. I wanted to consult with you about when the time would be right."
Sara's words were straightforward, expressing her intent.
The location of Yucun Village, situated at the junction of the Land of Fire and the Land of Rivers, provided an ideal setup. The threat from the Land of Rivers was minimal, and the Land of Fire, being part of the agreement, posed no immediate danger. For Rouran, in dire need of stability, this was a perfect choice.
"Within a month, I'll arrange for someone to contact you regarding the purchase. I'll reach out with precise details when everything is settled," Reiki replied while continuing to cook. **[I'm really hungry!]**
"Understood," Sara nodded. Then, with a smile, she added, "Won't you invite me to see your village?"
Reiki hesitated. "What?! I'm not really into sightseeing. So..."
At that moment, Nawaki cautiously stepped into the courtyard. Reiki seized the opportunity, calling out loudly, "Brother Nawaki, do you have time?"
"Me? Uh… yes, I do," Nawaki stammered, caught off guard but affirming quickly.
Tsunade, about to chastise Nawaki for not focusing on his training, was interrupted as Reiki gently held her hand.
"Queen Sara, let me introduce you to Senju Nawaki, grandson of the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama. He is also the younger brother of Tsunade Senju, one of the Legendary Sannin of Konoha, and a disciple of Orochimaru. Nawaki is the sole inheritor of the First Hokage's Wood Release kekkei genkai."
Reiki highlighted Nawaki's many qualities, his tone filled with confidence.
Sara's eyes lit up. Despite Nawaki's somewhat naïve demeanor, his clear gaze and composed aura left a positive impression. "Would it trouble Master Nawaki to show me around?" Sara asked warmly.
"No trouble at all!" Nawaki replied enthusiastically. "Konoha has many interesting places. Have you eaten yet? If not, I can take you to Ichiraku Ramen. Their ramen is excellent..." His nervousness was evident, as he awkwardly suggested ramen for their first meeting.
"That sounds wonderful!" Sara replied with an innocent smile, immediately putting him at ease.
As Nawaki and Sara left together, her guards were directed to rest, as there was no need for concern about safety in Konoha.
After their departure, Tsunade glanced at Reiki. "You little schemer," she muttered with a smirk.
"Teacher, Nawaki likes Queen Sara. This might be a good match for him. Just let him have this chance," Reiki said with a grin.
"You're something else," Tsunade remarked, shaking her head. "Alright, finish your dinner and rest up. There's plenty of work waiting for you."
With that, she left to meet Jiraiya and Orochimaru.

**In a private room at a Konoha hotel.**
"Orochimaru, how much of this was your doing?" Tsunade demanded as she entered.
Orochimaru, unfazed, replied, "Quite a bit. But Reiki's medical insights contributed significantly. Without Reiki's treatment of Uchiha Madara, the plan wouldn't have progressed this quickly."
Tsunade's expression darkened. She knew Reiki had shared key information with Orochimaru, leaving the latter with no choice but to act on it.
Jiraiya interjected, "Tsunade, the Third Hokage's funeral is in four days. As his disciples, we must see him off. For now, set aside other concerns. Konoha is facing internal strife."
"You mean the Uchiha Madara situation?" Tsunade asked gravely.
Jiraiya nodded. "Yes. Orochimaru underestimated Madara's historical significance. For many clans, Madara is a lingering nightmare."
"Madara will handle this himself," Orochimaru cut in. Then, shifting the topic, he asked, "What about the Hokage position? Minato is acting Hokage, but some clans remain unconvinced. He's young, and the daimyo might need more persuading."
"That's Jiraiya's problem," Tsunade said dismissively, pouring herself a drink. "Minato's your disciple. Let him deal with it."
"Me? Hey, come on!" Jiraiya protested. Despite Minato being his student, Minato's rise had little to do with him personally.
Tsunade and Orochimaru ignored him, clinking glasses instead.

**At the Uchiha clan's compound.**
"Boss!" Obito called out as Reiki arrived. Shisui stood beside him.
"Reiki," Shisui greeted. "Madara-sama is expecting you. He's at the ancestral hall. We were sent to bring you in."
Reiki nodded, following them as the air around him grew heavier. Uchiha Madara awaited.
